Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks girls. Scan went well which was a relief. Day 9 and it is at 7.1mm with the triple layer and a 16mm follicle. So I have started ov testing at home. Back in on Wed and if all looks good I may trigger then for easier scheduling but tbc. Might get my surge before then but that usually happens a few days later. Drinking lots of water and trying to keep moving and of course glugging our old friend pom juice!

Hope everything is still progressing well for all of you here.

Booked in for transfer tomorrow at 2pm
feeling so so nervous and anxious to be in the 2ww again knowing this could be our last chance

FlatWhiteAnyone · 04/08/2025 22:52

@pinksheetssgood luck!!🍀

I started having mild lower back pain, red spotting tonight. Tested and strong positive 6dp5dt, but feeling might be a chemical. Blood test on Thursday and then Saturday, so nothing can do but wait ☹️

magpie234 · 05/08/2025 08:55

@FlatWhiteAnyone Oh wow! Congratulations. Why do you think it might be a chemical? Those signs all sound good no? Keeping everything crossed for you.

@pinksheetss Best of luck for today and this being your lucky embryo.

FlatWhiteAnyone · 05/08/2025 09:00

@magpie234thank you! I never had a transfer before, with all “natural” ones it usually like that - positive, spotting, cramps and then chemical.. So my brain started thinking it is it. But this time is a good quality embryo DE, so maybe it will be different. Also usually I have more signs- full breast, painful etc. Now- almost nothing, a bit sensitive from progesterone. I just need to wait till bloods and then see. Funny how I was adamant not to test before official blood test, first cramps and spotting and I ran to test 🫣

FrostedFlake · 05/08/2025 09:14

Congrats @FlatWhiteAnyone !! I wouldn’t think it’s a chemical at all. I’ve had a couple and the line is usually very light and slow to progress and it takes a while for things to resolve so I would assume you just have implantation bleeding and cramping as the little one burrows deeper in. Great news!!

@pinksheetss good luck with your transfer! I will hopefully be joining you on Friday if my bloods are all okay on Thursday 🙌🏻

how’s everyone else doing?

Hopefull1981 · 05/08/2025 10:06

Hi ladies, hope you are well. Just out from the second scan and lining it now 10.1mm from 6.4 on Friday and it’s trilaminar. She did see some fluid lower near cervix but thinks it’s just mucus. Transfer is booked for next Tuesday but will scan first incase the fluid affects the lining before the thaw the embryos. We are away this weekend so it will make for a nice distraction. Hope the scans go well for everyone. 🙌🏻

Hopefull1981 · 05/08/2025 10:08

@pinksheetss the very best of luck for your transfer ❤️

magpie234 · 05/08/2025 11:37

@Hopefull1981 That sounds promising! Over 10mm is great right? Which day scan was that? Hopefully the mystery fluid behaves itself. Good idea to get the distractions sorted in the meantime.

@FrostedFlake Exciting that you will hopefully be next to have an embryo on board!

Hopefull1981 · 05/08/2025 12:06

@magpie234 Day 14 today. Yeah the nurse said it wasn’t tracking from the lining so she isn’t worried. Hopefully it goes away by Tuesday. I have to be scanned before the thaw them, so 08.20 scan then wait 2 hours to see if the re expand. That will be a long 2 hours.

pinksheetss · 05/08/2025 22:04

Thanks for the luck ladies

I am officially PUPO so here goes! It was a strange transfer for me, my fourth transfer I have done but for some reason I got really queezy today and had to ask them to stop part way through. Got so hot and kept yawning felt similar to when I have had a panic attack before. The doctor said it was perhaps because he was touching the cervix and that can cause that to happen but I think I was overthinking as the nurse holding the scanner on my stomach they couldn’t find my lining properly with it so it all felt like it was taking a lot longer than it usually does

little break, nurse fanning me down and we were right back at it and got everything done spot on. I think it’s first time I have seen the embryo right there on my lining as well and just magical seeing it going in

on a medicated cycle this time and it’s different to my last medicated cycle in 2021 so I now have lubion injections plus the pessaries to take and my prognyova tablets. I have so many alarms on to remind me to take them all ha

now for the dreaded wait! I saw a couple I watch say on tiktok earlier that the wait is strange as your body knows by now if you are pregnant but your brain doesn’t and that’s how it will feel. Last two times I have tested 4dp5dt and got negatives. My successful cycle I tested 6dp5dt and got positive (no testing prior). I’m hoping I can hold out this time and leave it as long as possible. This is the last embryo we have so going to savour the moment of being pregnant (in my brain at least) as long as I can

FlatWhiteAnyone · 05/08/2025 22:25

@pinksheetsscongratulations on being PUPO! Lots of distractions till 6dpt and a sticky little bean 🤞🏻

FrostedFlake · 06/08/2025 08:22

Congrats on being PUPO @pinksheetss how exciting! But ugh to the dreaded two week wait! How long does your clinic make you wait to test?
I used to always test at 4dp transfer but not sure what I’ll do this time.

Im a bit upset as our toddler has a high fever and is unwell and I seem to be feeling okay but have a temperature between 38.3 and 39.2 and I don’t think you can have a temperature during the transfer. Does anyone know?
Also do I ask them to check it when I’m doing my bloods on Thursday as I don’t want them to thaw it and then not being able to use it or it not working out because of the temp.

@FlatWhiteAnyone how are you doing? Hope everything is progressing okay ❤️

goad to see everyone’s lining progressing, hopefully there will be few more of us in next week for the transfer

magpie234 · 06/08/2025 13:46

@pinksheetss Eek congrats on PUPO! Hope it is a sticky one.

@FrostedFlake Ohhh stressful with the temperature. I would ask them to check yes as while really disappointing I would always rather cancel a cycle than do it sub-optimally and potentially waste the embryo. Fingers crossed it lowers though! Hope your little one feels better soon too.

Update from me from my clinic trip this morning is that I am triggering tonight! My lining is at 8.6mm on day 11 (today) which they were happy with. It got called beautiful which cracked me up… I mean really! So I do my jab this evening and then start the progesterone pessaries on Friday (1200mg for me). Transfer scheduled for next Wednesday! Not protocol for them to do a blood test before but I am pushing for one…

Good luck to everyone 🍀!

Had my final FET yesterday. After this, sadly I’m done as I have no more embryos and I’m too old now to cycle again. My lining seemed good, apparently the embryos looked good but the doc (who I hadn’t met before) was very quick and it was painful - I bled off and on for the rest of the day which doesn’t seem like a great sign (I’m still sore down there a day later, think I must have tore 😢 - so using the vaginal pessaries is extra painful at the moment 🙄).

Do the FET meds give anyone else cramps? It does me, so I don’t think I’ll be able to notice any implantation “signs”, even if there are any. Really going to struggle to last the two week wait without testing this time - somehow it seems harder when you know it’s your last chance!

ForeverHopeful17 · 07/08/2025 01:20

Hi ladies, I hope everyone is doing well. I haven’t had a chance to come on here the past couple of days so just catching up now.

I went for another lining scan on Monday, lining was 7.5mm so I’m booked in for my FET next Monday and started progesterone, clexane and prednisolone today. It’s all starting to feel real now.

@Hopefull198110.1mm is amazing 🤩 during my last transfer the doctor thought he saw fluid on my lining but he wasn’t worried as fluid tends to dry up with progesterone (turns out it wasn’t fluid but some placenta remains from my pregnancy with my daughter over 2.5 years ago!) Fingerers crossed it’s all clear by Tuesday, I also read that orgasms can help push out any fluid too.

@FrostedFlakeI’ve got everything crossed for you that your temp lowers so you can transfer on Friday! I’m also on aspirin, clexane and blood thinners. I’m also doing PIO (prontogest) instead of lubion this time so I’m hoping it makes a difference. I also used PIO in my only successful pregnancy all other failed transfers have been lubion. On the other hand I decided to ditch acupuncture this cycle as I don’t really enjoy it however I realised that my lining is not as thick as it has been for all my previous transfers so I’m not questioning if that was the right choice.

sometimes I feel the same as you that if my best graded embryo didn’t take then why would my average embryos work. But then I remind my self that my successful pregnancy came from an average embryo so there is definitely hope for us @FrostedFlakei really hope it’s our time x

@magpie234congratulations on the beautiful lining 🤩 I hope your jab went well this evening. My clinic also doesn’t do bloods before transfer which I find frustrating as my previous clinic would take bloods at every single appointment without fail. I’m also going to push for some blood work

@pinksheetsscongratulations on being PUPO! I hope the next two weeks go quickly for you and well done for making it through what seems like a difficult transfer. I really don’t enjoy the actual transfer I always find it so uncomfortable and painful, during my last transfer I had to release some urine twice as it was just so full and painful. I’m dreading it this time!

@FlatWhiteAnyoneCONGRATULATIONS on your BFP!!! As others have said, I have had so many chemicals in the past but never a strong positive with any of them. I also had quite a bit of red blood in my last pregnancy which all turned out fine in the end. Also lower back pain is linked to implantation so it’s all sounding really positive. Hopefully this is the first of many!

ForeverHopeful17 · 07/08/2025 01:23

@Alexandrinecongratulations on being PUPO! Sorry to hear that it was a painful experience but glad you soldiered through it. I know you have a lot riding on this transfer but I hope you can take comfort in the fact that you have done everything you possibly can and I’ve got everything crossed for you that it is a positive outcome x

Gumpsie · 07/08/2025 11:20

Hello,
I hope I am not too late to join!
I had my first FET on 01/08. Currently 6dp6dt.
Slowly going insane, desperate to test but holding off until Sunday when I will be 9dp6dt 😬.
I am not holding out much hope it’ll work though as it is graded as a 5CB 🥴.
I am lucky enough to have had a successful ivf round in October 2020 (which is the same round this frostie is from). My little girl was born at 24+4 weeks and has kept us on our toes ever since!
sending positive vibes to you all 💗 xx

FlatWhiteAnyone · 07/08/2025 14:06

Hi ladies, got my Beta - 281.1, next one on Saturday. But as of now I am pregnant 💕

Wishing all a good transfer and a positive test after!

Alexandrine · 07/08/2025 17:49

@ForeverHopeful17 Thanks very much ❤️ Good luck for yours on Monday 🍀

@FlatWhiteAnyone Congrats! That’s wonderful news!

@Gumpsie Hello! I’m in the same boat as you - had my little miracle already ❤️ (he’s 3 now but it took years and several failed cycles to get him). So I kind of feel I’ve had my chance, but I can’t help wanting to give him a sibling 🤞, even though intellectually I know the odds are so poor (as my frosties were from the same round as my son too, but they were made when I was already 40, so it’s entirely possible that my son was the only euploid one of the 4 😢 -I’ve transferred 2 at a time).

Gumpsie · 07/08/2025 18:44

@Alexandrine good luck with your FET. Will you be testing early? Do you know the grade of the embies you’ve had transferred? You never know what’s going to happen - keeping everything crossed for you. I feel the same with my little girl - would love to give her a sibling.
if this FET doesn’t work for me, I’m debating whether trying one last time with a fresh cycle.
I am 35 this year, but I also have severe endo (which has eased massively since my surgery) and also very low AMH (think it was 2.4 or something when last checked years ago). But I have no fallopian tubes now thanks to endo, and also endured many years of infertility and countless surgeries.

Gumpsie · 07/08/2025 18:46

Was meant to congratulate @FlatWhiteAnyone, amazing BETA result 😃

pinksheetss · 07/08/2025 18:49

Congratulations @FlatWhiteAnyone! So lovely to hear <3

I am 2dp5dt today and all the dread has taken over me. Also feeling very emotional but know that’s the injections and extremely bloated!
I know there’s a strong chance embryo hasn’t actually implanted yet as it’s a 3AA but can’t stop symptom spotting and the worry after knowing this is our last shot (unless we fork out thousands for another full round)

Bluebell155 · 07/08/2025 21:09

Hey,
I just had my first ever embyro transfer today- soo nervous 😬 embryo was 4aa so she said it was good. Im on aspirin and blood thinners for pregnancy as i tested positive for factor v lieden when i had my daughter stillbirth last August so this is very anxious times

FlatWhiteAnyone · 07/08/2025 21:49

@Alexandrine, @Gumpsie, @pinksheetssthank you! I am still like let’s get to the scan and see the heartbeat…as been here before. Feeling ok, just tired and breast hurt
Hoping for more positive news coming on this board!
