Hi everyone. Thought I would make this thread for anyone hoping to have a FET in August!

I am waiting for my period to start hopefully any day now before embarking on a natural/natural modified attempt.

I have had one failed fresh transfer and have 3 frozen embryos.

Good luck everyone!

@FrostedFlakeMy OTD is the 9th which seems unachievable at the moment 😂 the 9th is actually a really inconvenient day for me workwise so maybe the 8th - if I can make it! Still sore boobs, mild cramping and feeling pretty tired/irritable.

FrostedFlake · 04/09/2025 11:38

@CloudyIvy55 I really hope you got your positive today if you held out until OTD ❤️

CloudyIvy55 · 04/09/2025 14:35

@FrostedFlakethank you but my OTD isn't until the 9th which seems like a lifetime away!! Not sure I'm going to make it 😂

FrostedFlake · 04/09/2025 15:23

@CloudyIvy55 my bad! Had looked at the month rather than the day and with it being September I thought it was the 9th.
beat of luck with whatever decision you make ☺️

FlatWhiteAnyone · 04/09/2025 16:36

How was your scan today @FrostedFlake?

FrostedFlake · 04/09/2025 16:43

Lovely to hear from you @FlatWhiteAnyone how are you doing?

the scan went well and we could even see the heartbeat which was amazing. The only thing is that I have a subchorionic hematoma so need to take it quite easy until the 12 week appointment. But at least that explains the spotting that I’ve been having. Thank you for thinking of me ☺️

FlatWhiteAnyone · 04/09/2025 17:07

@FrostedFlake ooo glad to hear it!! Sorry that some complications but hopefully after 12w will clear out?

I have a scan tomorrow. After that episode with clot and when I thought it is over, I really detached and very down. Started thinking maybe I have prenatal depression or something as really don’t enjoy the stage I am in 😕 Maybe hormonal change and tiredness have such a bad impact on me

FrostedFlake · 05/09/2025 09:44

@FlatWhiteAnyone the best of luck with your scan! Is that at the fertility clinic or have you been released to the maternity hospital at this stage?
I think it’s completely normal to feel a little detached specially if you were guarding your heart after you thought the bleed was a loss. TBH with our first pregnancy we were very much on eggshells until after twenty weeks as you just never know what can happen, I know it’s probably not the healthiest way of looking at it.
i think it would be great to mention that you are feeling low and down and maybe they have some support the can offer in terms of therapy or medication? I don’t think it’s worth suffering in silence and really not feeling like yourself when there are tools and help that can make it better. Please let me know how you get on today and I’ll be thinking of you xx

FlatWhiteAnyone · 05/09/2025 09:59

@FrostedFlake hi, thank you so much for your kind words!! Scan was good, all measurements and heartbeat as expected and dr was very happy. I booked some counselling with specialised fertility psychologist, so hopefully they will help me to go through this.
I am not in the UK and here you go with your gynecologist, so was released early. Next scan in 3w, just need to take each milestone on its own.
Wishing you all the best for the next scan and appointment!

magpie234 · 05/09/2025 10:18

Glad to hear everyone seems to be doing well (albeit anxious wrecks… nice to know we’re not alone I guess?!). The time is going soooooo slowly. I am 6 weeks today but as I haven’t had a scan yet it still doesn’t feel real. I’m significantly more tired than my baseline, my boobs are sore, I’m still getting mild stretchy-type cramping and I have some mild nausea. But still, I’ll have to see it to believe it. I’m of course also terrified that this being the furthest we have ever got in years means there’s now just further to fall. Trying to be positive but it’s so hard after so much struggle and disappointment. There have been so many preg and birth announcements for us this past fortnight too. I just keep thinking (irrationally I know) that if everyone else is having healthy pregnancies then that means the universe has to balance out, and something will go wrong for us. I think I will also look at getting some fertility counselling as it feels like a very long road to hopeful baby!!

magpie234 · 06/09/2025 08:34

@CloudyIvy55 that's wonderful news congratulations on your bfp 🥳

FrostedFlake · 07/09/2025 17:57

Awh the biggest congrats @CloudyIvy55 ❤️ such great news!

FlatWhiteAnyone · 08/09/2025 07:56

@CloudyIvy55 warmest congratulations!!! 🙌 wishing a stress free first trimester

CloudyIvy55 · 08/09/2025 08:56

Thank you 😊 my OTD is tomorrow so holding out to test again in the morning.

@magpie234I'm feeling OK apart from sore boobs and some mild cramping now and again which I'm trying not to worry about (MMC in my past). Do you know of any Mumsnt pregnancy after IVF/loss groups? I've been looking but can't find any.

magpie234 · 08/09/2025 09:32

@CloudyIvy55 Good you are feeling OK. I had the same symptoms at your stage. There is the IVF babies due 2026 thread on this board but otherwise no. I would also like to join any others though. It is a different experience after infertility and/or loss for sure!

Just thought I'd pop in to say I hope everyone's doing well! Xx

magpie234 · 05/10/2025 12:03

@Bunnymum93 Thanks and you too! Doing OK here but hating the first trimester tbh. Have felt rough all day every day since just before 6 weeks. Now at 10 and it feels like a lifetime to go…
