Hi - I couldn’t find a thread but just wondered if anyone else was expecting in 2026 post ivf? I’m due end of Feb so just wanting any similar ladies to chat with!

@1989Frogcongratulations. Also, a Feb date here all going to plan. How are you feeling? 9 weeks today and I just feel like I’ve one long hangover lol

PlanBFertility · 14/07/2025 06:48

I’m going to tentatively join. Due March 2026 if little one sticks. Only 7dp5dt and got my positive two days ago ❤️❤️

Timetotryagain · 14/07/2025 08:32

Thanks for setting it up :) @1989Frog

I am due march (currently 4+2 or 11dp5dt)

CandidSnail · 14/07/2025 09:16

I'm due 24th February. 8 weeks tomorrow and brain on overdrive with symptom spotting!

PlanBFertility · 14/07/2025 11:25

@CandidSnail 100% can relate. Every cramp I’m convinced something is going wrong!

confused2025 · 14/07/2025 11:46

@PlanBFertilitycramping is normal (esp with the progesterone). Once you don’t have a piercing pain.

confused2025 · 14/07/2025 11:48

Are you all still in denial? It just doesn’t feel real. Had my viability scan two weeks ago and my next scan on the 25th. The smell of pre natals is pushing me over the edge right now 🤮

Hi! You are a bit ahead of me but I can definitely relate on feeling hungover! It’s quite sad really! I’m surprised by the food aversions, as someone who’s usually obsessed with food. Thankfully the nausea and sense of smell hasn’t been a massive issue for me.

have you had a scan yet? I had mine at 7 weeks for the ivf clinic last week which was great to see the heartbeat but hasn’t helped with the anxiety. I’m waiting to see when the hospital books me in for the midwife appointment and scan to decide whether I go get a private one before the nhs one!

Totally relate - I had a bit of brown spotting. Doctor couldn’t see anything wrong when I had my 7 week ivf scan but I’m still concerned every time it happens!

@1989Frog yes, I had it 2 weeks ago. I couldn’t look at the screen until she told me there was a heartbeat. I don’t think I was ever as nervous going into that scan. My NHS scan was booked in really quickly so I should be 10 weeks 5 days at that stage so Friday week. I think due to my age (I turned 40 3 weeks ago) they have me in early. Not looking forward to all the blood tests again lol

Timetotryagain · 14/07/2025 12:27

@1989Frog i have had a teeny bit of beige cm (i had it with my successful pregnancy too) so i know its totally normal but i still dont like it haha!

@PlanBFertility i am cramping (and got a dye stealer test this morning :D)

@confused2025 glad that your scan went well! When do they do the ivf scans is it beteeen 6 and 7 weeks?

confused2025 · 14/07/2025 12:34

@Timetotryagain thank you. I think it depends on your clinic - some do it between 6-7 weeks but think 7 weeks is probably better as you should hear the heartbeat at this stage x

1989Frog · 14/07/2025 12:34

My clinic does a scan at 7 weeks and then gives you instructions on when the stop meds and you are “graduated” to the nhs!

Thanks both! Is this your first babies?

This will be my second. My first was conceived naturally after many years JUST as we had been referred to ivf haha but this time it was ivf needed!

confused2025 · 14/07/2025 12:49

@Timetotryagainfirst from my second cycle of IVF x

1989Frog · 14/07/2025 14:22

@Timetotryagain this is my first and on my first ivf cycle after 6 failed letrozole cycles! I’m finding it quite hard to believe it’s real and happening, I guess you go through so many disappointments through a long infertility journey I’m still in self protection mode. I want to feel a bit more excitement though! Maybe by the 12 week scan…

PlanBFertility · 14/07/2025 16:57

My official test day is Thursday so I assume the clinic will tell me then about bloods etc. I tested out my trigger and daily tested which I’m still not sure if was a blessing or not 😂

Timetotryagain · 14/07/2025 20:36

@1989Frog definitely after infertility it feels all so scary! I didnt buy my babys crib until about a week before birth as was so scared the entire pregnancy or "jynxing" it etc. Infertilitt really does steal joy even when things are going well

@PlanBFertility my OTD is wednesday which is 13dp5dt which seems really late!

Timetotryagain · 14/07/2025 20:36

@confused2025 super exciting time for you even though i imagine you are nervous too!

confused2025 · 14/07/2025 21:18

@Timetotryagain every day I get a little more glimmer of hope but I honestly don’t think I’ll be fully relaxed until baby is here. Hopefully we all make it out of here with success stories x

PlanBFertility · 16/07/2025 09:43

How’s everyone doing? X

confused2025 · 16/07/2025 10:43

Hanging on in there but heart burn is killing me. Also think I have a noticeable bump - maybe I’ve eaten too much and so many food aversions and cravings. I wake up at 3am longing for a McDonalds. How are you doing @PlanBFertility?

Timetotryagain · 16/07/2025 11:01

I am 4+4 so still early days with not many symptoms thabkfully. My heart rate is super high though maybe anxiety!

How are you @PlanBFertility

@confused2025 i didnt get heartburn until quite late on last time but its awful you poor thing :(
