IVF babies due 2026?

Hi - I couldn’t find a thread but just wondered if anyone else was expecting in 2026 post ivf? I’m due end of Feb so just wanting any similar ladies to chat with!

I realise that is very specific lol. But I keep getting lower back cramps. They are uncomfortable.

@lemons44 yes, every day for the last few weeks. Your body will be changing and also the progesterone will not be helping x

I ended up having a scan at 6+1, a little earlier than planned as I was having spotting and very worried and they could see a heartbeat then. It's entirely possible not to though, sometimes it's a bit later I believe

this is my first pregnancy and I’m a little panicked as notices a yellow tinge after wiping today. Has anyone had this in pregnancy before? Is it a sign of something really wrong? Mixed feedback online and a little stressed x

@confused2025 I had a green tinge in my last pregnancy! (Successful). They did swabs and no issues so just a part of pregnancy sometimes

It could be a tiny bit of brown spotting or discharge, both of which are common! If you don't have any other symptoms or pain its likely nothing major, based on my extensive googling along these lines. I
I had brown spotting for weeks because of a haematoma and they said not to worry. Chat to your midwife about it though at your appointment xx

I'm ok! Tired and continuing to feel rough, bored of it. My nuchal scan and NIPT test have been brought forward to next week so I'm feeling nervous for that, brings up a lot of horrible memories as that's where it all went wrong last time and led to my TFMR. But, has to be done, and earlier is better!

5+5 and feeling nauseous at random points of the day. Hows everyones else nausea/lack of?

@Timetotryagain 5+1 and petrified as apart from cramps, I’m not feeling much. Ordered a home blood HCG test to see what my levels are

@PlanBFertility i had a lot of cramps my first pregnancy but not so much this pregnancy. The worry is endless haah

Hope everyone is doing well. Just back from my first NHS appointment. All the midwives were so kind and I expected lectures due to my age but they were great. Feeling so much relief now x

i am officially 10 weeks today 🥰 baby is a size of a strawberry 🍓🥹

Had my midwife appointment yesterday and it went well. I’ve been put on a high risk/high priority due to my extensive Gynae issues going back 6 years, my midwife was so reassuring I felt in safe hands. DH said I did so well he thought I would come out of the appointment even more stressed and worried knowing I’m now high risk but there’s no point in stressing and putting baby at risk with my stress when i can’t control the situation.

I hope everyone is doing OK. Thank goodness it’s Friday, i can’t wait for a lazy weekend!

Struggling today! I had a really long day travelling on a work trip yesterday and I think the tiredness has made me feel bad today... luckily I'm not working but I haven't been able to get out of bed all afternoon, also feel too nauseous to sleep! I'm 10+5 today, nausea has been fairly constant but not usually this bad, I'm hoping it improves soon!

@Orangewillow oh i hate the feeling of being top nauseous to sleep!

Those who have nausea, have you actually thrown up yet? In my last pregnancy i had lots of nausea but only threw up a handful of times

@Timetotryagainhow are you feeling? I’ve gotten sick a handful of times, but it’s been when there’s been a really strong smell. Mostly it passes in waves but it can be different depending on the situation.
i was very lucky to get a midwife who I think has been through IVF. She was so caring and when I told her I was anxious she bumped my appointment up for consultant to next Friday. Very happy with the consultant that I have as she seems to handle a lot of ivf patients. The whole appointment yesterday took 2 and a half hours! They went through so much details and had all my blood work and urine sample taken.

Hi all,
im 5+6 today and really struggling tbh with the anxiety and fear. I felt sicky for a few days and then the last 24 hours feel like my symptoms have decreased/gone. I did do another test this morning to put my mind at ease to check it’s still positive.

@Orangewillowit is no wonder you feel nervous about the test given all you have been through. I can’t even imagine what you have been through. Sending positive thoughts your way x

Hey all. Spiralling! I’m 5+4 today. Just taken a clear blue digital with the weeks. Based on the sheet, 5+ weeks should come up as 3+ weeks but I’m still showing as 2-3 weeks.

@lemons44 i completely get you, I feel exactly the same. I have a horrible feeling little bean has died or something and can’t shake the feeling 😭😭

@PlanBFertilityClear Blue Digital are notorious for this. This happened to me and everything was ok. Try not to let it panic you x

@PlanBFertilityi read that clear blue weeks can be very bad for doing this. I can’t remember where I saw it but there was something which showed that a high percentage of time they should show 3+ due to the HCG levels but fail to do this. I’ve avoided buying one for this reason.

@PlanBFertility i did it at 5+1 (one week after my first 2-3) and had 2 - 3 and after reading loads of things that said it didnt really matter i decided i wouldnt do another one (and i feel much better for deciding that!)

@lemons44 my nausea has been on and off, now i am 6 weeks its a bit more consistent

@confused2025 its so nice when people get it isnt it! I had one friend who had done ivf before me and it was ao nice to talk to someobe who understood it all etc

How is everyone feeling today?

I am 6weeks today and just on my way home from my second intralipid infusion which is part of my immune protocol to stop my body attacking the embryo. I’ve never got this far before.

Still stressing that my symptoms come and go. I would feel more reassured if they were consistent! Trying to keep busy.
