@worldwidetravel2017@FlatWhiteAnyone
you’re both in my thoughts x

confused2025 · 12/01/2026 13:27

@lemons44they weren’t so bad but not great lol
we went to the Snuzpod Studio - pretty easy to put together. I got the snuzcrib for downstairs (got it with my boots points). If you haven’t joined the boots baby club do as you get extra points x

KayEmmSquared · 12/01/2026 14:52

@lemons44 yea it’s good to know we are not alone in this eh?! I’m the same with the hormones, I’ve been pretty ok up until now but now I’m either high or low, an angry bear or a blubbering mess! I have also started having morning nausea again, not had any since 13 weeks but the past few days I get really nauseous about 8am and it takes a few hours to go away.

I think I have the Joie Roomie next to me, my sister got me it so not 100% sure but I think it’s that one. I let her pick, she has 3kids already so is much better placed to make the right decision!

I'm 35 weeks now and feeling a bit fed up! Been sick for a month, everything hurts and I'm tired. Went in to the office for the first time in a few weeks and it was such hard work, I'm exhausted from the commute. Going on mat leave in 3 weeks and I wish now I'd set it earlier, but thinking if the baby is late I didn't want to be sitting around for ages (now, that sounds perfect haha). Struggling to get comfy anywhere too, and shoes are a struggle

Hope you're doing ok @worldwidetravel2017 and @FlatWhiteAnyone, sorry you're having stressful times

@worldwidetravel2017 hi, how are you doing? Any feedback from your consultant and blood results? Hope little one stays put in 🙏

unfortunately I am on the risk of another early delivery, surgery I had before didn’t help, my cervix is again shortening really fast. They put me on bed rest, had Arabin pessary fitted.. really hope to get at least to 30w (I am 26 only).

Edited

Sorry to hear

Hows things now ?

Im still in hosp

Baby girl still safely inside 31w 3 days tomorrow

FlatWhiteAnyone · 12/01/2026 22:51

@Orangewillow@confused2025@worldwidetravel2017 thank you for support! I am taking now one day at a time. I am feeling ok actually, bored from bedrest.
Glad to hear that baby girl safe inside @worldwidetravel2017

Hi @confused2025, I am ok, thank you for asking , looks like the combination of cerclage pessary, progesterone and bedrest helps, cervix length stays the same last week and I am very hopeful to get to 30w at least (dr even thinks it is a bit longer but she cannot measure now properly with the pessary).

@worldwidetravel2017sorry to hear you are in hospital, but hopefully they monitor you closely and all good

good luck to everyone who is getting ready for delivery!

@FlatWhiteAnyone @worldwidetravel2017 that’s great news. You’re both in my thoughts.

@FlatWhiteAnyoneim 36 weeks - 37 on Sunday and jus getting ready to go on mat leave soon. I just don’t know where the time is going. Im feeling good apart from acid reflux and back pain if I stay in the same position too long. Also managing the gestational diabetes ok but missing treats x

lemons44 · 24/01/2026 16:01

@worldwidetravel2017@FlatWhiteAnyone I hope you are both doing ok ❤️

@confused2025 you are getting very far along now. A lady in my NCT group just gave birth at 37 weeks and brought the baby to our last class.

confused2025 · 25/01/2026 03:52

lemons44 · 26/01/2026 08:07

hope you are doing ok @worldwidetravel2017 what are the doctors saying? x

lemons44 · 26/01/2026 08:09

@confused2025 I am beginning to struggle a little. My feet are really swollen, hips are achy and starting to not sleep well. I’m 32 weeks and wondering if going until 38 weeks to start my maternity is going to work as I feel I’m struggling already to keep up with my job.

At what week is everyone else planning to start Mat leave?

confused2025 · 26/01/2026 12:24

@lemons44are you in office? I work from home so it’s def been very manageable and I finish up this week. When were you planing to start? You could potentially look at getting signed off for being unwell. I’m sure your GP would understand and a lot of folks do this so it doesn’t impact on maternity leave

Orangewillow · 26/01/2026 17:02

I'm starting mat leave at the end of this week and am so ready! I'll be 38 weeks on Sunday. Feeling tired and uncomfortable, I usually cook/am on my feet 2-3 days a week but switched to desk based work after the Christmas break and am working from home mainly. I was tempted to bring it forwards but stuck with the plan, I'm kind of hoping not to be pregnant too much longer but also I do want some time on mat leave pre baby to chill (and get my hair done, very important!)

SamVan · 26/01/2026 18:04

I've got a desk based job but I'm starting maternity leave at 30 weeks. I just don't think my brain works very well anymore and I need to be able to sleep in as my sleep at night is quite disrupted.

lemons44 · 26/01/2026 18:35

@confused2025 @SamVan I’m in a deskbase job too but I’m struggling with the pressure and demand. I’m trying to only work my 9-5 but ending up working longer, not having lunch breaks etc. Also sitting down for hour after hour in back to back meetings and not having a chance to walk and stretch my legs… ☹️ I know it’s really bad but I’m thinking taking a few sick days over the next 6 weeks before go on mat leave so I’m not burning out

confused2025 · 26/01/2026 18:37

@lemons44@SamVanyou should both consider getting sick certs so your mat leave isn’t impacted x

SamVan · 26/01/2026 18:38

@lemons44 i feel you! I think it’s generally quite difficult to work while pregnant. Even sitting down for long isn’t comfortable. Can you move your mat leave earlier? I had quite a few holiday days over the past two months but my understanding is taking sick leave for pregnancy related illness will trigger your mat leave to start earlier. I’m not an expert in this area though but something to look into before you take any!

@confused2025 I feel fine just slow haha. And there’s no issue for me taking leave early as I don’t intend to return anw!
