February/March FET

Hi all, looking to start a chat with anyone transferring February or March time. I have my baseline scan booked in next week and if all goes to plan then I'll start treatment & have my second frozen transfer on 4th March. My first FET in September 2024 sadly failed 😞
Any transfer buddies?

My scan is next week (6+2) doing it early due to bleeding last week and previous ectopic history. This will be my fourth pregnancy and early scan since summer 23, 2 PULs which were ectopic and one where they saw a heartbeat but sadly the next scan after wasn’t good news. I’m trying to not be a negative Nancy and get myself down but the waiting is torture and I dare not to let myself get too hopeful or excited 😪 just that big long pause while they try and locate it or find a heartbeat makes me feel sick as I know what’s coming.

How are you feeling? Any sickness? I've got bad food aversions and nausea but thankfully no vomiting 🤞🏻

I'm sorry to hear you've suffered some early bleeding. It's always very unsettling to see any type of blood but hopefully you get some reassurance at your scan next week!

@BellaRosex same, as much as I’m grateful for the progesterone this time around I’m wondering if it’s just masking an issue. You can’t win with any of it can you? Makes me laugh how advanced all this science is yet there is sod all they can do for you in early pregnancy!!!

Thanks so much and I agree! I'm on extra progesterone this time (I had to reaaallly fight for it) because of two previous losses/ early bleeding. My clinic was reluctant to give it as they say it wouldn't make a difference but my argument was, if it won't do any harm, at least let me try.

Ugh, I've just had some bleeding 😞

Not loads yet and no pain so who knows. Every pregnancy I've had (successful and unsuccessful) I've bled through and it's so bloody awful. I've emailed my Dr to see if I need to change any meds and am secretly hoping she'll bring the scan forward. Probably not though- it's Thursday lunchtime so a couple of days won't make much difference.

I tested negative today 10dp6dt so I’m probably out of the game. It hasn’t sinked in yet though.
We have one more embrio, part of me would like to jump on it and do another FET asap, the other part says it’s a waste of energy, time and money as embrio is of poorer quality (and not tested).

Oh no, that is stressful.
Hopefully it’s just something that happens even when pregnancy is perfectly fine. 🤞🏻

Oh @KenIsAnAccessory I'm so sorry! Was it brown or fresh blood? I had a bit of a scare earlier. Was convinced I'd seen a smidge of brown in discharge when wiping but nothing has come of it. It's like a gut punch. Really hope it's old blood for you and nothing to worry about. If you call EPU, they should be able to use offer you a scan before Thursday 🙏🏻

Sorry to hear @SkyeLight . I completely understand the wanting to jump straight back into it but it might also be nice to give yourself even a full cycle and do some nice things for yourself. I wouldn't worry about the quality necessarily. My last embryo was 5AA and it failed. My current one (which so far has stuck) is lower quality (albeit still considered good grading) and also untested. There's just no way of knowing which ones will stick and which won't x

@KenIsAnAccessory ah shit, I’m sorry, it’s so stressful isn’t it. I was the same with mine last week. Your scan is so close and fingers crossed it’s just something small and insignificant and baby is fine. There’s just no way of knowing until that scan but Why they haven’t figured out how to do more for women in early pregnancy I don’t know x

@SkyeLight that stark white space is just so upsetting isn’t it, I’ve been there many a time, sending you a big hug and perhaps with a few weeks resting and thinking things over you can make a decision on your final embryo xx

Well I went for a private scan last night and they saw an empty gestational sac and a yolk. At this stage there should be a fetal pole and almost definitely a heartbeat so I am not at all hopeful. Only thing could be is if they made a mistake on the scan. I guess Thursday will tell us 😞

I'm so sorry @KenIsAnAccessory 😞. I can imagine how disheartening that must feel but as you say, you're not out yet! Hopefully you get more clarity on Thursday 🙏🏻. Has the bleeding subsided at all?

I'm so sorry @SkyeLight big hug, I hope you manage to rest and recover, and that your next embryo is the one!

@KenIsAnAccessory - how upsetting, the uncertainty is awful! How far along are you? It might still be ok, maybe the embryo is just too small to show yet.

@Quaver9 - fingers crossed it's just some old blood from implantation! Lots of women bleed in the first trimester, I had a bit of bleeding in my last pregnancy too and all was fine.

Hi girls, I just wanted to say thank you for your kind words and support.
I am taking one cycle off, to be honest if it wasn’t for the injections I probably would have jumped on it straight away, but I need a break.

@KenIsAnAccessory I'm so so sorry to hear that. Do you have any other embryos in the freezer? Either way, take some time for yourself to heal and look after yourself during this very difficult time ❤️.

I was a bit reluctant to post about my scan as I wasn't sure what the situation was with others but as you asked, everything is looking on track (so far). I had a wobble yesterday morning with some tinged brown crinone gel and then convinced myself my boob pain and nausea had disappeared completely so went into the scan thinking the worst. But it all looked good and we heard the heartbeat. I'm taking each day as it comes though because nothing in this process is guaranteed, especially when you're used to losses.

Had my monitoring scan today, my lining is thickening on track so I'm to keep on taking the meds and add the pessaries on Sunday. Blood test next week and then transfer on Friday if blood test is OK.

I am seven weeks today and I have my scan on Monday (7w3d). I’m really nervous about it. Last time I had an internal scan at six weeks then I felt something pop and then started miscarrying! I suppose maybe I was already going to start miscarrying and the probe tip just dislodged things? I’m terrified it will happen again though.

This TWW has been brutal, I am constantly flitting between both outcomes. I fully feel like it would be impossible for me to see a positive test tomorrow because for four years I’ve just seen negatives. I just can’t let myself believe that it could be positive. I have been beside myself all week. So nervous even now thinking about tomorrow 😩

@Willard89 how was the result?

I just had my seven week scan and it went well. Normal location, growth on target and normal heartbeat. I can’t quite believe it after three years ttc with no success!
