@Hollielouise amazing news!! So thrilled for you, were you hoping to get that amount? Are you going to doing a freeze all or are they going to monitor how you’re doing over the next few days?

Just catching up on all the posts today!

We had one good one for transfer today - they said it was hatched and score of 1-1 , which is good. My clinic said to test from day 12 but I think I'll be testing regularly like @HopefulllHolly 😂

We also have one that can be frozen. They will give the other 2 another day and let us know tomorrow if they can be frozen. The other 3 didn't quite make it . Glad we've got this one in and one in the freezer!

Hope those that had EC Today are resting away.

@positivepetal congratulations!!! I’m 1dp5dt, I’ve ordered 2 FERS which I’ll use weekend. Last time I tested positive 4dp5dt with my son who is now 2.5yo.

Yay @positivepetal! 1-1 hatching blast is great! Mine was a 1-2 expanded blast that was starting to hatch. Fingers crossed for you! I welcome you all to join in my madness 🤣😵‍💫🥴🤪

@positivepetal congrats, it’s such a relief to get to this stage isn’t it. Funny how clinics have such different test days. I’ve been told to test day 9, and if negative to test again on day 11 and stop progesterone if I still have a negative then. And your clinic wouldn’t have even tested you by time mine would have me off progesterone!

I am tempted to test out the trigger from tomorrow.

I do have a question for people…our fertility specialist told us both to take 200mg of CoQ10 3 times a day. Does this seem right? Surely we should just get a higher dosage?also she said to take Pregnancy supplements. Is that right? Husband and I have been taking Proceive for the past six months but happy to switch if anyone has any recs?

@Hollielouise yes we are fresh transfer no signs of oshh, my clinic only aim for the larger follicles so that's why low numbers but high quality now to hope for high embryos

They said test day 12 and if negative then test again 2 days later at day 14 and keep the progesterone going until then..

@MrsBP15 Hello ☺️ so I was told to take 600mg of Coq10 so it’s right for you, but your partner doesn’t need that much (my partner took 300mg a day). I think it’s fine for you to take a pregnancy supplement but there are lots of fertility/conception ones which are probably better - similar vitamins and minerals in them I’d guess anyway! I used Wild Nutrition fertility support and then have swapped to pregnancy support now I’ve got my positive. There’s lots of good ones out there - I think proceive is ok (you could check ingredients against other brands if you want to do some investigating). Good luck! You sound prepared! ☺️☺️

How much discomfort is ‘normal’ after EC? I’m not in pain as such but I’m feeling pretty uncomfortable and sore! It’s hard to know what’s normal and when it could possibly be OHSS.

I got 17 eggs collected today which is a fair amount more than I was expecting so I’m thrilled about that. We are still aiming for a fresh transfer on Monday but I’m being monitored and will have a scan on Monday (and maybe Friday) to see how I’m getting on so might end up doing a freeze all!

I could have written exactly this post @Seasidegirll ! 😅 In the same boat - discomfort but not pain. I've been told lucozade and tonnes of hydration + salty foods is all we can do now. I hope you're ok - OHSS was always a worry for me too. Hopefully our scans will show more, though I'm thinking a freeze all may just be best now instead of Monday'a transfer xx

@Seasidegirll I had my EC yesterday, felt in quite a bit of pain, was concerned, woke up this morning feeling a new woman, so off to the beach this morning (something yesterday I didn't think would be possible 🤣)

That's great @camelinastorm Yes my clinic is a mild ivf so very low doses too but because of PCOS I can't help the high numbers. Incredibly 18 of my 19 have fertilised so that's a relief. Glad you're feeling great today!

Can I ask the group - what size did your clinic say they were looking for with follicles ? My clinic said 17-18mm .. does anyone know is this the size they want for before trigger or is this the size they want at collection time ?? What size range will they collect from ? Seems conflicting when I look online .. will they collect from any follicles in range of 15-20mm ? Or is it different each clinic ? Thanks

I have my 3rd scan tomorrow (day 11 today ) for stims and just trying to work out how many I may possibly get by the size of them just now if they grow 1.5-2mm a day 🤨

We have to wait until day 5 now, though I'm prepared to lose quite a few from what I've read. They are still aiming for a fresh transfer but I have major anxiety about OHSS so just taking one day at a time.

Has anyone done a fresh transfer after high egg collection numbers?

@hopefullsosbry My clinic said at least 3 had to be 18mm but anything over 12mm may be mature. So my last scan on trigger day - I had 7 follicles over 18mm and 11 follicles 12mm - 18mm. Egg collection I got 19 and 18 of those were mature so that's basically everything from 12-18 on the day of trigger ended up as mature when collected.

I done a fresh transfer last time , I collected 11 eggs , this isn’t as high as your numbers but I was fine after 11 eggs .. fingers crossed for ya that your recovery will be quick.

@Hollielouise thsnks for the reply , that’s good then if they take anything from 12mm, just trying to work out if my right ovary will catch up for EC as there was some small follicles which I believe by Monday can catch up to 12 .. hopefully my clinic is the same with this policy .. 🤞🏽

Wow @Hollielouise that’s amazing!! My numbers arent as good as yours, so 12 of the 17 were mature and 9 have fertilised normally so not too bad. I know that the ‘average’ fertilisation rate of mature eggs is 80% so we just under the average rate. How are you feeling? I’m still feeling very uncomfortable and sore!!

Only 1 of mine have fertilised so feeling very down today. As I know only 40% make it. I know there is a chance but just feeling very defeated today and my partner is at his mums he was working last night and he has to take him mum to an appointment at 2 so was easier for him. So he doesn’t know yet. Waiting til he gets up to tell him.

@Clairehbear It’s hard hearing your numbers go down, especially when you aren’t blessed with big numbers. BUT you have a chance still, ignore the 40% stat - your egg is probably a good quality so try and stay hopeful that it’s developing as it should do. When do you get your next update?
