Thanks @HopefulllHolly

I don’t think that I will. Because if it’s negative, I’ll have to continue taking 3 Cyclogest and 1 Lubion a day until Sunday and I’ll be veeeery sad every time I have to do it and would struggle with how pointless it would be. So a few more days of waiting for me.

HopefulllHolly · 20/06/2024 16:33

Keep us posted on Sunday! Will be thinking of you @ThePeachGoose ☺️

@ThePeachGoose There’s no knowing, but the fact it’s stopped and not gone red is promising.

I had the teeniest teeniest amount of spotting that was more like a peach colour discharge on 5dp5dt and again on 8dp5dt and have had absolutely nothing since. I now think that must have been something coming out after implantation as I had already got positive pregnancy tests and it looked nothing like spotting I’ve had in the past that is pink or brown.

I know you’ve said you’re staying strong not testing until Sunday so good luck for then - only 3 days to go. Please update us, we’ll be rooting for you :)

ThePeachGoose · 21/06/2024 09:09

@AnnieStar12 I’m still having this brown light spotting but hopefully it won’t turn red. We’ll see!

And thank you for your response! I’ll definitely update the group when I know.

RunningOnHope · 21/06/2024 14:26

Hi @ThePeachGoose, if it's spotting because it hasn't worked, you'll know soon enough - when I've had failures and early miscarriage, the spotting has steadily increased and turned red within a day or two.

ThePeachGoose · 21/06/2024 14:44

@RunningOnHope thanks! I’ll let you all know how it goes 😬

hopefullsosbry · 21/06/2024 15:42

@ThePeachGoose whoohooooooo!!!

ThePeachGoose · 23/06/2024 16:10

I'm yet to catch up with the other thread, but I told my consultant about the positive test today and he said he'll see me in 2 weeks for the scan. Then when I mentioned to him that I've had some brown spotting on and off, he said it might be helpful to go in and get some tests done first thing tomorrow morning.

I'm a bit nervous about it because last time I got a faint positive, they called me in for blood tests and my hcg was really low, like 18. And 2 days after that it had reduced. I'm slightly more confident this time round because I have much stronger lines on my tests, but it's still nerve-wrecking. And I assume they're also interested in my progesterone levels this time round, but I'm not sure how much higher I could go if I'm on 3 x Cyclogest and 1 x Lubion a day already.

Anyway, I'll let you know how it all goes!

HopefulllHolly · 23/06/2024 18:09

@ThePeachGoose Try not to worry, your tests look lovely and strong. It’s great they are being cautious and I’m sure it’s absolutely nothing to worry about! Agree there isn’t more progesterone you could really have but i don’t think it’s down to that anyway - I think you just have normal early pregnancy spotting as the little bean is getting comfy. Don’t stress and be positive! It’ll be ok ☺️☺️

Thank you for the reassurance @HopefulllHolly I’m just reading on the other thread about everyone’s journeys to the first scan and beyond - looks like spotting hasn’t been an issue for anyone, which is great

HopefulllHolly · 23/06/2024 20:04

@ThePeachGoose Oh I replied to the other thread before seeing this! Yeah exactly - their babies are all ok so don’t let your mind go to anxious places and definitely don’t compare it to your previous experience as no pregnancy is the same. They are all really lovely on there if you want to ask them any questions ☺️
