How are you TWWaiters @AnnieStar12 @2tuxedocats @positivepetal ? Hope you’re all ok! Annie did you test your trigger?

Im officially 5weeks today, weird to say! I feel very nauseous today, I’ve had to eat something every 2 hours from 6am because I feel sick unless I’ve eaten. My sleep is really disturbed now, I wake up at 4am on the dot every night and can’t get back to sleep, I’m burping like a trooper and I’m not a gassy person at all (getting lots of looks from my other half 🤣) and my heart rate has flashed up that it’s increased by 10pm for the last 11 days. So feeling quite positive today, which is a difference from yesterday when I felt really blue. 2 weeks today until the scan!

@Clairehbear sorry to hear that. Hard as it is, try to focus on the one that’s still going. Hope you get to speak to your partner soon and get some comfort. Rooting for your one little embryo! Will they update you on day 3?

@HopefulllHolly congrats on getting to 5 weeks!! No I didn’t test today. Might do it tomorrow instead to check it’s totally negative and the trigger has gone. I couldn’t sleep last night spent ages googling everything possible about embryo transfers, luckily work is busy today so I’m distracted. Did you get your first positive at 5dpt?

I know and it’s trying to stay positive is the hard part. We don’t get another update til we are in the clinic on Monday for transfer. They said if it doesn’t look good that morning we will get a call before 10am but I don’t know if I should email and ask for an update on Saturday.
we are booking a hotel again so it’s the added expense of staying down there to get a phone call that morning saying nope I don’t know what to do!

@HopefulllHolly congrats on reaching 5 weeks and the symptoms make it even more real, hopefully not too bad to manage!

When was the earliest you tested from?

@Clairehbear could you share with your clinic your logistics and if they can give you a better indication or suggest booking a fully refundable room ? It's a little more expensive but you can get your money back

@AnnieStar12 Yeah I got my positive at 5 days past, I didn’t test before apart from the day after transfer to see if the trigger was there and it wasn’t. I think I’ve read every thread and thing on Google for each day past transfer now 😂 works busy today but I’m a civil servant and because of the election everything will stop now, so it’s going to be quiet for the next month. I start a new role in a few weeks though so that will distract me.

@positivepetal I got a very clear positive at 5 days past but I’ve read so many stories of people not getting them until really late so I think it depends on the person. Yeah the symptoms are reassuring actually, but my god I’m tired! I could honestly go back to sleep now! 😂 You feeling ok today?

@Seasidegirll 9 fertilised is amazing! Well done! Do you get an update on day 3 or is this it now until day 5?
I have a scan tomorrow morning and then they will decide whether to transfer on Monday or freeze all. Still quite bloated and tender but feel ok otherwise. Have been drinking tonnes of lucozade and eating watermelon... apparently that helps?! 🙇🏼‍♀️

@2tuxedocats Almost there you trooper! I am absolutely shattered today too. I am considering just going to bed after work with no dinner because im too tired to think. 😂 How are you feeling about testing? Keeping my fingers crossed for you both that it’s a positive ☺️ I’m excited for you!

Thank you so much @HopefulllHolly thats super helpful. I will aim for 600mg of COQ10 and I’ll look into Wild Nutrition, I’ve definitely seen them come up quite a bit. My friend who had successful ivf suggested Zita West mio-inositol powder. Have you taken that at all? Are there any other tips you can think of that I might have missed? Just trying to be as prepared as possible!

I have my EC today! Just getting ready, it's at 11am! Feeling slightly nervous and just worried about how many eggs I'll end up with 😣 felt really odd not injecting at all yesterday - almost didn't know what to do with ourselves haha.

I woke up at 4:30 and did two tests. One came back negative, another from a different brand had a faint positive line. I’ve contacted the clinic to find out what they’d like me to do. My period won’t be ‘late’ until Monday so who knows. I’ve started bleeding lightly but only on wiping (TMI sorry) so I don’t know if that’s my period or not. So confusing!

@2tuxedocats Oh no! That’s so confusing! I’m sorry. Hope you can get some answers quickly.

@2tuxedocats Could you try an early result test? I think boots do some with pink dye that are meant to be good. Might help give you a definite answer?

@2tuxedocats Im so sorry, that’s really confusing. Hope your clinic are helpful. Sorry if I’m being dumb, but shouldn’t your period be 14 days after the IUI? At least that’s how it was for me. Which would make you quite late by now?!

I just did a test to test out the trigger. Was hoping for a clear negative as it was 9 days ago now but annoyingly there’s a clear second line so I still have trigger in me meaning I won’t be able to get an accurate result for a while.

Just had my day 5 scan, follicle count somehow reduced from 7 to 6 (including one very small one), and one is much larger than the rest, so Dr is a bit concerned that I might end up with just the one 😭 doing more blood work now to see if they could reduce the dosage

@2tuxedocats that sounds very stressful and confusing! I hope you can speak to your clinic and get some answers to find out what’s going on! Can you get hold of digital test for some clarity?

@AnnieStar12 have you done any test previously? Could it be an actual positive and not the trigger?

@AnnieStar12 how many days past are you now? 3? I think the line should fade quite quickly from the trigger. So maybe try again tomorrow? Weird how it stays in peoples bodies for longer than others.

@EggsFrozenNow I thought it was normal to have one bigger than the rest? I’m sure that’s the one for me that made it to transfer. Only day 5 so have time for others to catch up anyway. What sizes were they? Try not to panic! 5 is still a great number 😊

I feel like an absolute whale today! I’ve never been a breakfast eater and only usually have a salad or homemade smoothie for lunch but I’ve been making a real effort to eat healthy meals and not skip anyway. Weighed myself today and I’ve put on 8lbs since collection 🥴 I’m so bloated and I can’t not eat because I feel sick when I don’t. I’ve not eaten carbs either so it’s not even because of that 🤣🤣

@AnnieStar12 oh that sounds promising though if you have a thick 2nd line .. could be your BFP ?? How many days past transfer are you ? I will defo be testing from day 1 this time to see the trigger reduce (if I get that far)
@2tuxedocats maybes try another test later in the evening see if it’s a diff result ? What test are you using? Sone early tests detect up to 10 bHCG .. or ask clinic for a beta blood .. ? My clinic done the blood as standard last time and was very helpful to determine .. they were looking for 70 bHCG or more by 10/11 days after transfer for a viable postive result ?! Hope this helps ?! Praying for you that your line will show again and get stronger 🙏✨

i have my 3rd scan today to see if any more follicles have come up .. hoping some of the smaller ones have come up and praying my right ovary has grown some .. from last scan looked like 3 for the running so would be nice to get another couple .. I just feel in a sh!t mood today and think what’s the point in going through all this again as I just have a feeling it’s not going to work anyways .. why do we put ourself thought all this stress ! 🤨we were talking last night and already putting plans in place to arrange another EC to freeze some of my eggs as we have feeling we will be doing it again .. sorry fir the doom and gloom .. it just gets hard sone days huh? 😩😵‍💫🤯

I going to ring my clinic to see if I can get a scan today, I’m still feeling so so sore and uncomfortable. My stomach is completely rock solid and I’m struggling to stand up straight 😩 I’m 3 days past transfer today so I would have though I’d be feeling better by now
