@MrsMotts - replying here.

Ah okay so you go off the october period? And are you on the long protocol then, as opposed to short like myself and @lowo21 ?

How are you feeling about going again? Honestly your determination and mindset is admirable - really need some of your vibe! 😅

@Justkeepmoving1234 I'm so thrilled for you ❤How is Mr. JKM?
@cb2805 i'm really sorry for your BFN 😥Was this your second transfer?

Really sorry to hear about your BFN @CB2805 :(

How are you doing ? When is you OTD?

I have had zero symptoms .. 😔

Lowo21 · 22/09/2023 11:39

@GCS34 thank you !!! I can't believe we filled up another one !

73pheonix · 22/09/2023 11:51

Thank you @GCS34 !

I unfortunately started bleeding very heavily yesterday 8dp5dt, very negative test this morning too confirming my suspicions that I’m out 😔. My A* embryo didn’t stick. Bummed.

I’ve actually stopped the progesterone today despite my clinic saying I should take it until Sunday, as I’m DEF out (never bleed this much tbh!), and feels stupid trying to do the pessaries amongst it! (Sorry tmi!) - want to get back to normal now.

Frustrated that I have to wait until my third bleed to try again, but I know I’m lucky to have embryos to have another go. There’s so much waiting in this game. Ugh.

Wishing those of you still in tww all the luck 🍀

Will stay on here if you don’t mind and update as we go!

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 12:03

@GCS34 was my 3rd failed transfer unfortunately it’s getting harder and harder now!
@Lowo21 otd was today but did pregnancy test yesterday to prepare, just waiting for blood test result so I can get in touch with my consultant for next steps. So lucky to have 11 embryos on ice but I believe some extra tests needs to be done for next fet. On all 3 transfers everything seems perfect and as an easy case but I’ve never seen a positive test result in my eyes.
anyway how you doing? No symptoms can be a good sign🩵
@girljulian thanks hun🩵 how you doing?

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 12:09

@73pheonix so sorry for your bad news. Let’s chin with that large glass of wine and prepare our selfs for the next lucky go🩵

73pheonix · 22/09/2023 12:14

@CB2805 yes indeed! Hope you’re doing ok! Choosing to stay hopeful. Sending solidarity!

Jellyfish1956 · 22/09/2023 12:20

Thanks for setting up the thread @GCS34 how did you pining scan go the other day?

I am sorry to hear about your results @CB2805 and @73pheonix I know how horrible it is to only see one line on the test. Fingers crossed the next round is positive for us all xx

Congrats @Justkeepmoving1234 that's amazing news!!

Justkeepmoving1234 · 22/09/2023 12:44

Thank you for all the lovely messages! I'm not sure if it's going to stick, I've started cramping and spotting today. It sometimes feels like a cruel joke! But, onwards on upwards. I have 2 frosties left yet.

@CB2805 and @73pheonix so sorry it hasn't worked out for you this time round!

Congrats @Justkeepmoving1234 that's amazing news!!

@73pheonix I'm so so sorry to hear of your bleeding 😓Its' not fair is it? I hope you're okay and it's not painful bleeding. Would you say it's more than a period? I know that bleeding during the TWW isn't uncommon that's all, (my sister did during her last transfer and she is 24 weeks now!) so wonder if it is worth carrying on with the progesterone?

@CB2805 I'm really sorry hun. It's just BS isn't it? Yeah it might be worht investigating as you say, 3 times in a row makes you think surely this can't be just shit luck, you know? Please stick around - you're not out the game as you'll be transferring another little tadpole soon!!

@Justkeepmoving1234 Sorry you're cramping - is it painful period style ones, or a different feeling? Sending so much hope your way as I think I want you to be positive till the end as much as you!

@Jellyfish1956 So my scan Tuesday wasn't great - I had stopped developing and had just gone up 0.2mm in 4 days, totaling 6mm which wasn't good, so they added in patches and kept the dose at 12mg, and was back in this morning for a check up, and I was so bloody scared, but it was 7.3mm and transfer is booked for Wednesday!!! I can't believe it. I'm sticking with the high dose, and progesterone starts tomorrow, so onwards and upwards! They said because my scan was this AM and I've still got a full day of drugs ahead, that I'll likely get up to 7.5/7.6mm before progesterone, so in the sweet spot😊

thank you for your kind thoughts and words all🩵 I’m so glad I’m a part of this chat when everyone in here is in the same battle and completely understands, it’s a hard and lonely world of infertility unfortunately🤷🏻‍♀️
hope we all one day win and just remember to never give up on your dreams, I know it may seem as if that day never will come, but we got it💪

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 13:33

@GCS34 I know right? All drs they see at first my case as an easy one as I’m young and everything just seems so perfect so they don’t bother to go that extra mile with chasing things. It was my first transfer with my current clinic and my consultant was devastated just now when phoned and told him the news(I’m so glad that I found him tbh and I trust him so much) he will see me on Monday to discuss next steps🤞🤞
im so glad about your lining and I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, try drinking some fresh pomegranate juice the upcoming days I know it’s helping with lining🤞🤞

kirstysmbc · 22/09/2023 14:10

@GCS34 Thanks for tagging me. Fab news on your lining and confirmation of transfer next week 😊

@CB2805 @73pheonix So sorry to hear of your negative tests. It's a really tough journey, and I hope the next round is then lucky one for you both.

I had my nurse planning appt this morning and just waiting for the consultant approval to go ahead with fet on my next period. They normally want three bleeds, but I'm too impatient so want to go ahead after two. This is my last chance at a sibling, so keeping absolutely everything crossed for my little embie 🤞🤞🤞

kirstysmbc · 22/09/2023 14:12

@Justkeepmoving1234 Cramping isn't always a bad sign, and spotting is always worrying but can also be normal. So hard to deal with the anxiety and uncertainty though. Keeping everything crossed for you that you have a very sticky little bean 🤞🤞

Doughnut89 · 22/09/2023 14:48

I’m so sorry @CB2805 and @73pheonix that it didn’t work for you this time. Sending you positive vibes and keeping everything crossed it works for you next time.

@GCS34 thanks for starting the new thread. I’ve just seen above that your transfer is booked for Wednesday, that’s sooo exciting!!! Congrats 🤗

@Lowo21 when is your OTD again? Is it this weekend?

@kirstysmbc I’ll keep fingers crossed for you that you get the consultant approval to go ahead this cycle x

@Doughnut89 thank you! I can't believe my lining actually decided to play. 17 days of drugs, but worth it for sure! I defo think the FET process is an anxiety that no one ever talks about - it's all about fresh / stims, but actually I have found this bit really hard! Harder than the other bits. Don't know about anyone else. Anyway, How are you feeling? What day is your 12 week scan?

@kirstysmbc That's great news that you're all set for your period! What date are you 'due' on (I say 'due' cuz you know it won't show when you want it!!)

@CB2805 I'm so pleased you've found him too. I have heard a lot of people find that when they move clinic, they're really happy. Just shows how many shoddy ones there are that people just 'put up with'. What caused you to move clinics? And I can't remember who it was that was saying they hated theirs which was London's Women Clinic? Funnily enough, I have beetroot and pomegranate juice in my Ocado shop that's coming this afternoon, so I'm all over it 😅How are you feeling?

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 16:00

@GCS34 i started with my clinic few years back, they said everything is perfect for fresh transfer, then a doctor said no you should freeze and then someone gave the ok to move with a fresh one. Anyway we started our journey so ignorant and young and I just obv thought if they just put the embryo in I will be pregnant🤣 what a joke was that! Thank god covid happened and I had sometime to investigate, so my personal gyno after a scan show something and he believed I had a hydrosalpinx. When I mentioned that to the clinic nurses she said oh yeah I can actually see that dr send a letter before your fresh transfer that you should remove it🤯well I was obv way past my first transfer!! Took it the legal way anyway all good had some comprehension back and that mistakes happen. My lawyer said that they would give me royal treatment after that so did the stupid thing to move with a fet with them as I had embryos on ice. When neg results came back I called the clinic and i asked for an appointment with the consultant, nurse said that it’s not necessary After a failed fet and if I wish to have one I should pay £600 for it.
I had enough with them by that point, still got some frozens with them tho

thats great keeping my finger crossed for you🤞🤞

How are you doing ? When is you OTD?

I have had zero symptoms .. 😔

Mine is next Wednesday!

I’ve had no symptoms either but I’ve finally learned not to symptom spot, because last transfer I had every symptom under the sun and BFN. I was saying on another thread, the NHS symptom checker thing really helps me because it starts at 5 weeks — really suggests any symptoms before that point are the drugs or in our heads!

@CB2805 My god, that's horrendous. So sorry you've had that experience. What clinic was it? Did you ever find out why the doctor said you should do a freeze-all when you had your first cycle? Have you had your hydrosalpinx removed now? Did you say you had endo? I can't believe your Doctor sent them a letter to have the op, and they didn't do anything! Was that the clinic Dr, or your GP?
You can transfer your embryo's to another clinic. I think it is around £1,000 to do it, so it's not a small sum, but it would be worth it as you could use way less, as you're only transferring them when it's the right time, your body is up to it and it's most likely to be successful, rather than wasting them when it's not suitable. If that makes sense? How many do you have left? And the clinic that you are at now - have you got embryo's with them as well then?
And thank you 🤗

Yay for thread number 3 🙌🏻

Thanks for setting it up @GCS34

IVFKinster · 22/09/2023 18:10

I'm just place marking so I can follow along even if I'm not great at contributing. Hope that's ok!

Doughnut89 · 22/09/2023 18:28

@GCS34 im so pleased for you and your lining. I’ll be hoping and praying everything goes well next Wednesday for you.
I don’t have my 12 week scan booked in yet but I have a midwife appointment on Wednesday so hopefully I’ll get a date for it then 🤞

@CB2805 im so sorry for the issues you had with your clinic. I had similar issues with mine where they would try and charge extra for every little thing like consultations or blood tests which should really be included in the package. They just care about making money, not your well-being or actually helping you.
I am with London Womens Clinic and I truly think they’re awful. Can I ask which clinic you’re with?

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 18:55

@GCS34 So one of the drs in the clinic recommended for a freeze as a hydrosalpinx usually kills embryos, but another dr completely ignored all that and moved with a transfer.
yes I proceeded with a HyCosy and it’s shown a massive hydro and we removed it.
my first clinic was Manchester fertility but this time I went abroad. We’re originally from Greece so we trying out luck here this time🤞
2 embryos left in Manchester so didn’t bother transferring abroad and unfortunately Greece wouldn’t accept embryos from abroad

CB2805 · 22/09/2023 18:59

@Doughnut89 i completely understand you, was in your shoes before! We decided to go abroad this time. We’re originally from Greece you see so we thought would be a good idea to try our luck here🤞 the treatments are so much more personalized here, all surgeries, EC, ET even ultrasounds are done by your dr not some random nurse no offense so really feel like in safe hands
