@Hopingforno2in2023 tagging you here - I did tag you in the original but not sure if you had it?

Congrats on the transfer @GCS34 it's good that you have some plans to get you through the next 10 days. I found the TWW after transfer went so slowly 😅
I've started my new protocol and on day 10 already. Lining was good at the scan this morning so next scan booked for Saturday 🤞🏻

I don't have a personal experience of it @CB2805 but the HFEA published an article this week and said that at present, the endometrial receptivity tests are not recommended.

@Jellyfish1956 Thank you! I feeeeeel........ exactly the same as I did 2 days ago 😅bar sick from the oestrogen and progesterone - joys!
Great that your lining is looking better this time. Where was it this morning on your scan? Glad it's more successful than last time! Are you feeling rough from the drugs or not?

Yay I have found you thank you :) Not sure why my original tag didn’t come through, must be an MN glitch. Missed you guys! How is everyone! I am on CD4 and back in the Testogel so that feels like progress at least. From Sunday I will be able to say that my IVF is this month!

CB2805 · 28/09/2023 16:32

@Jellyfish1956 thanks for that I will have a look into it. My consultant doesn’t recommend it either but quite interested in the ERA just bcs I’m freaking out that might be the receptivity of my uterus that’s causes the problem😅

CB2805 · 28/09/2023 16:35

@GCS34 its a series of tests but I’m quite interested in the ERA one as it’s recommend for people that had 3 or more failed transfers with good embryos and lining which is quite my case.
very expensive tho so not sure if it’s worth it!

@Hopingforno2in2023 yay welcome back! We missed you! How are you finding the testosterone gel? Does that come with any side effects? Exciting that you're going to be starting in a month +3 days! Well, less than that.

I'm fed up of progesterone already and I've only been on it for 7 days! Do slippery wee's ever get less vom!? 😂

Hopingforno2in2023 · 28/09/2023 19:39

The only side effects I get from the Testogel is increased energy @GCS34 so happy about that :)

Progesterone does not sound amazing! How many days past transfer are you?

@girljulian amazing news! Congratulations and wishing for a smooth 8 months ❤️

@GCS34 glad to hear transfer went well! Hope the 2WW flies by!

we had our consultation Wednesday - bless her my consultant was so gutted our transfer hadnt worked as it was a great embryo. So plan is for the same protocol as we responded well, and add lubion and clexane. We discussed ICSI and PGTA. We’ve decided to do this cycle without, as if this fails we are going to do another multi cycle of 2 so we’ll do ICSI and PGTA at that point. We want to give it one more go without the increased risk of damage to eggs/embryos. Consent forms done, drugs quote through (£3k 😭😫🤣) and paid for - just got to wait for AF to get cracking!

Lolly2507 · 30/09/2023 12:32

Hey everyone! I've been MIA for a bit that's my coping mechanism when I'm struggling haha disappear! Lovely to see some good news for some of you and I'm so sorry to hear about those who haven't had success YET. Because it will come! And you all have positive proactive attitudes which is admirable and not as easy as those who aren't going through this realise!

So believe it or not I'm still waiting on my bleed, withdrawal bleed was 33 days ago actual AF was 49 days ago 😮‍💨

Had a scan on Thursday because i was worried and theyre happy with everything just waiting on the bleed to start my medicated FET cycle. They offered to induce but given all these drugs I have been/will be taking I want to allow my body it's moment just for now!

Typical isn't it I am always like clockwork 31 days and now AF is hiding from me.

Lots of love to you all!

KG1244 · 30/09/2023 13:06

@Lolly2507 hey, please don’t panic. I had 55 days in between periods after my failed FET so don’t worry, AF will turn up!

Thank you @KG1244 that does make me feel loads better. I couldn't find anyone in a similar situation and clinic said it would be 2 weeks but max 4 so the longer it's been the more I've started to worry! Glad it's just our bodies getting back to normal after all we put them through haha

MrsMotts · 30/09/2023 23:09

@girljulian we’ve only done one so far - which one is this for you?

@Lolly2507 welcome back! Fingers crossed for AF soon ❤️

Glad you will soon be going again @MrsMotts

This is my third, first FET. On my first round I only got one blast, chemical pregnancy. Second round I got 4 eggs and 3 blasts, fresh didn’t take, so this is my first frozen.

kirstysmbc · 02/10/2023 13:50

Hey everyone, how are you getting on? I hope everyone is doing ok.

I'm waiting for my next period to start before I do my last FET, but I'm on cycle day 18 and still no signs of ovulation. Did anyone else have a delayed period after egg collection? I didn't do a transfer after Ec, but was on progesterone just in case, and my withdrawal bleed came fairly quickly...

girljulian · 02/10/2023 14:55

Hi everyone,

I’ve had some light bleeding and cramping today which is naturally freaking me out. Called the consultant and he said it could be implantation bleeding and it’s quite normal to bleed at this point in pregnancy but arghhhh

My scan is on Monday. Consultant said no point in scanning earlier as he wouldn’t really be able to see anything, so it’s now a wait and see.

Lolly2507 · 02/10/2023 18:28

@kirstysmbc so I'm on cd 35 since my withdrawal and like 51 since my actual last period 😮‍💨 I am usually like clockwork but apparently it's very normal but obviously when we are waiting to start every day feels like one million years! I actually did ovulate but didn't track so not sure when but when I had a scan last week on cd31 she said she could see the follicle. Hope it flies by for you!

@girljulian it is super normal but I can imagine you're feeling worried. Try to keep your mind as busy as possible this week so it doesn't drag too long. Lots of love!

@girljulian oh I’m sorry you’re feeling anxious and worried. I think that is expected. I hope your consultant put your mind at ease?

@Lolly2507 hey stranger. Do you have any idea when you ovulated? Did the scan show you were about to ovulate or you had?

@kirstysmbc i can’t comment as I have ZERO periods 😂 unless from medicated, I’m basically like a 7 year old. How long were your cycles previously? And did the clinic suggest how long?

@Hopingforno2in2023 how are you getting on? How’s the energy levels? 😅

so my update - I’ve stopped being sick. Hoorah, but I have absolutely ZERO symptoms. Nothing. Nada. Not even a twinge. I am 5dp5dt so arguably early but still. Im preparing for a negative next week. Urgh. Someone provide me with some confidence 😂🤷‍♀️

Lolly2507 · 02/10/2023 20:09

@GCS34 yeah I'd already ovulated by that point. I've started spotting today soooo maybe transfer end of this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Not everyone has symptoms and even those that do often its from the meds rather than pregnancy so try not to symptom spot too much (says she queen of google)

girljulian · 03/10/2023 10:32

Thanks @Lolly2507 and @GCS34 <3

Last night I was literally getting up every two hours to pee. I'm hoping that means baby is still in there! Starting to realise I may have signed myself up for months of constant anxiety, but I'd rather that than find on Monday that it's a no-go.

21C · 03/10/2023 16:13

Hi All,

hope I can join in I know I’m a bit late! Had first frozen 5day blastocyst transfer yesterday (have had 2 failed dean transfers this year). Now taking 2 x cyclogest pessaries a day. Never had the progesterone support before so not sure if they are adding to this but I have had twinges on both sides all afternoon, they feel like the same types of twinges as when I’m about to ovulate. Surely it’s far too early for anything to be happening? I’ve only had 2 pessaries since transfer due to take my 3rd tonight so not sure what’s going on!

@girljulian I defo think increased peeing is a good sign! What time are you in on Monday?
I've lost hope for OTD. Anyone else in the TWW with me? Feel like everyones in a lul at the moment and i'm TWW riding solo! i think Anxiety is normal. Have you got this far previously? X

@21C - woohoo! a fellow TWW'er. I am 6dp5dt so a little further along, but still here with you! not sure what a dean transfer is? But i'm sorry they didn't work out.
I think it's fair to say that it's 100% drugs! Anything this stage is drug related. The progesterone support - do you know why you didn't get it previously as it seems to be pretty standard protocol across all UK clinics? I am on 3 x per day! Are you also on Oestrogen tablets too? Have you got any frosties or is this a fresh?
