Hey! Yea ready to get back to it all as soon as AF makes an appearance! It has helped massively! Thank you 😊

@Lowo21 this makes me so happy and as we spoke about 121, your determination to go again is amazing and I haven’t wanted anyone to be more successful than you ♥️

@GCS34 they will thaw the embryo the morning of the transfer. Normally a few hours before to give it time to expand again xx

@Jellyfish1956 thanks. Embryology are calling me tomorrow to discuss transfer and I’ve gone all pathetic and nervy forgetting everything 🙈

@Lowo21 so sorry for your negative. I stopped progesterone on the Saturday and period had arrived by Monday.

sending so much love to anyone who has had a negative outcome the past few days too - I hope you’re all ok. lol

Thanks for tagging @GCS34 and all the luck for Wednesday! I do short protocol (I think?!), but prime the month before with testosterone gel for egg quality (which I assume I’ll do again this round) then norethisterone for planned bleed. So period is due 20th October & should be collecting/transferring first/second week of December (providing we manage to get an embryo again!)

I think from the mindset POV, We were well prepared that this might not work for us, so as disappointed as we are, we are ok with the fact we might not get the outcome we want from this and that will be ok if that’s how it ends up. We will retire early and travel and make the most of however our life is meant to turn out 😃 My numbers are so bad, that we know our odds are slim. If it’s meant to be it will be ❤️ We’ve agreed to 4 cycles (2 x rounds of 2 multi cycles) and call it quits after that x

@MrsMotts thank you! Nerves are setting in now 😬🙈 I don’t know why as I can’t do anything but still. That’s great it’s not long away! So will you be starting the testosterone on 20th oct? That’s my husbands birthday so hopefully that is a lucky charm for you 🍀

that’s a really admirable mindset and so good that you’re taking the positives of a shit situation! You can retire with lots of animals and be the best aunties / uncles going! What is the cause for you doing ivf - it was low amh if I recall? X

@GCS34 ill start on day 6 of my next cycle so towards the end of October 👍🏻
Yes - we weren’t trying but weren’t avoiding and I had 2 chemical pregnancies in 12 months so we decided to get tested and figure out whether it was something we could even manage. My AMH is 0.6 though, so donor egg was suggested. But we decided we’d give it a go with our own and if it worked great. We’ll be happy knowing we’ve thrown everything at it and won’t wonder what if 🥰
not long to go now 🥳

girljulian · 27/09/2023 06:37

@MrsMotts i think that’s an amazing attitude. <3

this morning, can’t believe I’m saying this but — BFP!! We’ve had about four hours’ sleep waking up every few minutes waiting for Pee Santa to come. I didn’t really expect him to come through, given only symptoms have been raised heart rate and (weirdly) diarrhoea, and only those in the last couple of days.

Thanks so much @kirstysmbc@CB2805@KG1244@Jellyfish1956 your wishes were well received! 😘All in, and hopefully settling in. Now we wait... 🙄Distraction wise - I booked a trip for my husbands birthday next month, so secretly planning that and looking for hotels, so that will keep me occupied! And I'm going to Birmingham on Saturday with my best mate to do a day of shopping and lunching. And seem to have about 8 meals out over the next 2 weeks - hopefully all being distractions!

Q - did anyone feel any different after the transfer? Like crampy or anything? I literally feel zero.

@GCS34 oh so good to hear that you have planned some nice time for the 2WW:)

transfer wise for myself all of them were super different so I guess it doesn’t really matter😅
with one I had cramping with other I had nothing and with the last one I was feeling sick so I guess everyone is different🩵

@GCS34 Unfortunately we had to go to work, which was such fun on hardly any sleep 😴 but I can’t complain!

CB2805 · 28/09/2023 08:07

Hi ladys hope you’re all doing well. So I was wondering if any of you got an opinion on the ERA EMMA ALICE test?
on internet there are mixed opinions so wondering if anyone got a personal experience?

@CB2805 I've no clue what this is haha! 🙈So i'm intrigued to hear what people say!

Congrats on the transfer @GCS34 it's good that you have some plans to get you through the next 10 days. I found the TWW after transfer went so slowly 😅
I've started my new protocol and on day 10 already. Lining was good at the scan this morning so next scan booked for Saturday 🤞🏻

I don't have a personal experience of it @CB2805 but the HFEA published an article this week and said that at present, the endometrial receptivity tests are not recommended.

Lowo21 · 28/09/2023 14:32

@Hopingforno2in2023 I'm so so sorry you were missed of the list originally we are over here !! Hope you are doing well?
