Hi just wanted to ask if anyone is in similar position and tested positive recently.
I'm 5 weeks tomorrow via our 3rd IVF icsi cycle and can't believe it's happening..
I'm pinching myself every day since BFP!
We did try 7 years and i never thought i ever be able to say "I'm pregnant "

My symptoms now are feeling a bit sick and just trying to take things easy.
This wait for first scan seems like it's ages away!

@AlisonDanuta congratulations! I just got my positive result from my beta test this morning. Still can't believe it!

@nizo1245 fabulous news! I still can't believe it! Trying not to be overexcited as this first few weeks is so scary!
I've moved from seperate vitamins to pregnant care max now to make sure I'm taking everything else in little doses.
Need to wait 3 weeks for my scan..anticipation is there!!!

@AlisonDanuta same, I'm trying to be cautiously optimistic!
They've booked me in for a scan in 3 weeks. I think that will be the longest wait of my life!

Focusing on building a healthy meal plan at the moment with lots of fruit and veggies, and trying not to overthink everything!

I had zero symptoms and had been preparing myself for a negative result so it was quite a nice surprise!

So happy to join this thread and also know you both from other threads!
Like @nizo1245 I am 4 weeks today! 🥰
We tried for 3 years and never had a positive test so this is pretty momentous.
At the minute I have late onset OHSS caused by the pregnancy and feeling pretty bloated and sore. I am finding it quite hard to be positive as feel getting better will be quite the hurdle, but trying to take it a day at a time. I am also worried as found out that my thyroid function is off and I know that can really increase the risk of miscarriage. So many things to worry about at each stage!
@AlisonDanuta I have also been nauseous since 2 days before the pregnancy test. It is getting a bit worse each day and comes in waves several times a day. The clinic said they don't know if it's due to the OHSS or just pregnancy sickness. I did NOT expect it this soon!

Also if all goes well... Our due dates will all pretty much be Christmas! How wild 🤣🌲💜

@nizo1245 this is it - not everyone has the same symptoms and look you have tested positive- amazing.

My clinic has isuues with staffing on day when I'm supposed to have a scan so they moved it 2 whole long days after! Haha this wait to horrendous 😅

@Jupiteer huge congratulations! I know how it feels to see positive test for the first time! I honestly thought it was negative at first as subconsciously i didn't think it is possible... and then it's sank in... and joy!

I'm sorry you're going through extra worries with your ohss! Hopefully it will calm down and you will feel better.

I think for all of us the first few weeks is the most scary as we know anything can happen. I'm trying to be realistic as you never know but on the other hand I want to scream as first time ever my test is saying pregnant!

I've started with some brown spotting today one day after pregnancy confirmation!
Who knows what this means!!!
I'm wondering if it is due to the blood thinning injections I am now on... Will just have to wait and see what happens over the next few days 😶

Hi guys can I join, after years of TTC and one failed transfer in January, we had 2 embryos transferred on April 9th, they were low quality so we were initially told not to bother with them (which is why we went for 2!)

so I’m 7days post transfer and we just got out BFP

we’re overwhelmed but so so happy I had lots of symptoms so was cautiously optimistic!!

congrats to you all!! What a journey this is !!

@Vil ahhh welcome! Congratulations! Amazing news and now wondering if 2 of those embryos implanted or just one! Now the wait will be just another level!

This time I've also had lots of symptoms and felt like something is happening!
But also heard lots of others who had no symptoms and tested positive! Like @nizo1245

@Jupiteer how is it going? Hope your ohss is calming down

I still can't believe it 3 days later.
I have a scan booked for 7 weeks and it feels like a lifetime away!

How are you feeling now?

I'm still in disbelief, we tested again today and its ever so slightly darker, we've just been walking around the house not knowing what to do with ourselves.

Do I need to call the GP to get the scan booked or see a GP? I have no idea haha

How are you feeling? How many weeks are you do you know?

@Vil my clinic book you in for a 7 week scan once a positive blood result is confirmed.
Does your clinic do a blood test to confirm results?

I'm feeling ok. Having some strange pulling sensations in my stomach now which I suppose is probably normal!
I'm just over 4 weeks, my clinic confirmed the result on Friday which would have been 4 weeks exactly.

Hi everyone
I'm doing ok, went back to the clinic today and the OHSS is unchanged which is good news as I thought it would continue to get worse until 12 weeks. I'm still sore and swollen but managing. I had one incident of brown spotting on the weekend but nothing since. I have some cramping pains every day and feel sick on and off but these also could be OHSS symptoms. The clinic said all common and not to worry. It's v hard not knowing if the embryo is still growing or has stopped! I also have a 7 week scan booked by the clinic but am only 4w now so feels like a long wait x

Must be hard @Jupiteer dealing with ohss at the same time worrying about the embryo! Let's hope it will all go well! Fingers crossed

I'm 5+3 today... and it's dragging...
Another 2 and a half week till my scan. I think because of bank holiday i can't have it few days earlier. Just need that confirmation if everything is ok.

I'm bloated and on and off feel like I have travel sickness. Just a weird feeling

Hi guys need some advice I’m worried my line is lighter this morning.

The last two days I tested mid afternoon, today I tested at 7am - pic below. I think it’s lighter , going out of my mind with worry. I also feel like my boobs are no longer sore and just a bit different.

Im going to test again later this afternoon but I don’t know what to do. Blood test is Thursday.

Today is 9 days past a 5 day transfer

Good to hear you had another good line this afternoon. I have decided not to keep testing (only did one test day before blood test) as I have heard the strength of the line can vary throughout the day and it will just bring me more anxiety. This stage is so stressful, I also have no idea if still pregnant, just need to keep going and remind ourselves that no period is good news 🤞

I've not even had blood test.. my clinic only goes from the pregnancy test. Done few of the here and then as we couldn't believe it! :)

Hi,

I am two days after you (transfer 11th April) & haven't done any tests yet - I didn't realise they would show up this early. This two week wait is dreadful I am second guessing every twinge every movement EVERYTHING!
Did your clinic suggest testing or are you just testing regardless?

Mine told me to test 14 days after transfer but I did this on my failed cycle and felt shit that I'd done longer than needed on meds and the tww was so hard as it is!

I tested 7 days after the transfer and got a clear bfp and been darker each day. I had some clear symptoms from 4 days after!

I had my transfer on 9th April

Eek what symptoms did you have?
I am second guessing everything!
I have been told to test on Sunday which is 12 days ....
I bet you are SO happy and excited.

@teacherls my test date was only 9 days after my 5 day transfer. Different clinics seem to work in such different ways.
I had no symptoms other than feeling a bit bloated here and there.

I tried as much as I could to avoid symptom spotting as it's easy to drive yourself mad throughout this process.

Now that I know I'm actually pregnant it's even worse. Every twinge and I'm off to the bathroom to check I'm not bleeding 🤦‍♀️
