Hi just wanted to ask if anyone is in similar position and tested positive recently.
I'm 5 weeks tomorrow via our 3rd IVF icsi cycle and can't believe it's happening..
I'm pinching myself every day since BFP!
We did try 7 years and i never thought i ever be able to say "I'm pregnant "

My symptoms now are feeling a bit sick and just trying to take things easy.
This wait for first scan seems like it's ages away!

@nizo1245 @Jx3303 sorry to hear you have nausea, hopefully it isn’t too bad, but as you said it’s sometimes reassuring to have a symptom.

hope everyone has a nice restful back holiday, my anxiety has really for the better of me so trying to turn that around xxxx

@Jupiteer amazing news ❤️ absolutely delighted for you that got to see the embryo and the heartbeat! It sounds beautiful and emotional 🥹 how is your OHSS settling down?

I stupidly decided to use the second clear blue digital earlier hoping I'd see 3+ but it's still 2-3. After googling and realising lots of people don't always see this as the different in levels is huge and some don't see it til 6 weeks. I ordered another and swiftly cancelled, really wish I'd not bothered at all and especially not in the afternoon. My blood test was a good high number and I should trust that. No idea why I thought it would be a good idea. Didn't want to do more than one test, they shouldn't come in 2 packs haha.

@Vil I hope you're doing ok 💕 and enjoy the bank holiday. Try and do some nice things for yourself this weekend xx

Thanks everyone!
It was really lovely to see everything going well so far. It really reduced my anxiety for a few days but I know it's going to creep back in!
Thankfully the OHSS seems to be settling down which is a relief as I know it can last until 12 weeks. My main symptom at the minute is fatigue, just feel so wiped out! Feeling sick on and off but haven't actually thrown up (yet) 🤞
How are you all doing?

Glad to hear your OHSS is settling down! Do you have another scan this week?

I am the same, tired, don't know what I want to eat (it's resulting in me just eating carbs) and I feel sick in the morning but haven't actually been sick - just lots of gagging 😂😂 and a sore lower back. To be honest I'm happy for as many symptoms that are thrown at me!

I had a call with my counsellor yesterday and discussed my worries which she assured me are normal, and to process them and remind myself that all these feelings, positive tests, good bloods etc are all good signs x

Yep I'm feeling knackered too, all I want to eat is beige things.

I had another scan yesterday at 7 weeks, all looked good, then I had an intralipid. I've had to book my final intralipid for 29th May and flights for this because I'm moving to N Ireland next weekend (not stressful at all lol). It feels a bit scary to buy flights etc for it because it's all contingent on the next few weeks going well, I'm so used to holding my breath on everything that I'm worried that I'm going to jinx it. I have all these weird superstitions around being pregnant at the moment, I don't know if anyone else gets that?! It's just hard to trust it I suppose.

Does anyone have scans this week? X

Beige is all I am eating 😂

I'm the same, I get scared that if I think bad things bad things will happen. Which I know is silly. Nothing we do or think will change things. I think it's totally normal to be anxious, and with everything we have all been through it's difficult not to be scared. I'm trying to have faith in my body and tell myself "today I am pregnant".

That's great your scan went well and you've got your last intralipid booked. I don't have my scan until a week on Saturday and the time is going by so slow!! Xx

@Jx3303 I try to take comfort in the fact that my mind is not running the show, the little blob on the scan had grown a few mm since the last scan and my brain definitely had nothing to do with that 😂

Do you have nice distractions planned until your scan? I am now waiting for the next one that I'll book at 10 weeks. I wish I had one of those ultrasound machines, I'd be doing it every day 🥴

Hi ladies

glad to hear you’re doing well, all ok here but still little to no symptoms! Feeling like I should be grateful but also want to reassurance!

I'm totally exhausted and also just wanting carby food! And I’m really grumpy lol everything is pissing me off.

I have a wedding mid week this week and then scan on Friday and then off to Ibiza for a few days, feel like I might need to slow down a bit more !

So pleased your OHSS is dying down @Jupiteer I can’t imagine having that on top of the fatigue !

Hope everyone’s scans go well whoever has them over the next week !

Good to hear you're all doing well !

I'm absolutely sh*ing myself as tomorrow we have first scan at 7 weeks 6 days!
You never know what to expect and my brain just does not function properly today!

I'm also eating badly as when i feel sick i just get something salty! Usually carbs! And also feel tired most of the times!

I have mine on Friday when I'll be 7 weeks and I'm terrified.

I've been eating such awful food too. Yesterday the nausea hit me like a tonne of bricks and I couldn't eat anything all day, but mostly I've been eating plain carbs as it's all I can stomach.

All this time was a drag but then suddenly it's tomorrow! And for you day after tomorrow!

I feel very hormonal as well, so feel like everyone is annoying me lol

It sounds like you are both having reassuring symptoms.
I have my 7week scan tomorrow however will be 6+6. The last 2 days I haven't felt sick anywhere near as much so trying not to be concerned about that and think positive! x

Great news from my scan today 🎉
Little baby seen (looks less like a baby and more like a blob) with a heart beating away 💛💛💛
Feeling so lucky and overwhelmed.
I hope your scan went well today @AlisonDanuta and will be thinking of you tomorrow @nizo1245 for yours.
I had been quite worried as feeling better this week and less sick but clinic weren't concerned at all which is reassuring.

@Jupiteer amazing news!! Massive congratulations!!! Can I ask how many weeks you are today? I have my scan when I will be 7weeks 3days (or around that, depending on the app!). I know I am going to be SO nervous! My clinic says it will start with an abdominal scan but given its early I might just ask them to go straight to the internal if its more detailed. I am scared they take ages to see anything and I will be panicking. Was yours internal or abdominal? xxx

@Jx3303 it was internal... Hopefully the last of many for a long time! I'm 6 weeks and 6 days, they did it a day early as they were fully booked for tomorrow. When is yours?

@browneyedgirl626 it does seem to be settling down which is so good as I know it can persist until 12 weeks. The scan today showed no more fluid is coming out of the ovaries so my blood thinning injections have been stopped. It's been a painful and swollen few weeks so am glad to be feeling better!

Hello all!
I hope you don’t mind me joining? I’ve been following topics on this site for a while now and they give me hope but never posted.
My partner and I (same sex couple) have been going through ivf for 2 years now. We’re on our 6th transfer after miscarriages and failed FETs.
I just wanted somewhere to share that we’ve just had the clearest positive we’ve ever had at 6dp5dt and I can’t believe it!
She’s had zero symptoms unlike other transfers and were in shock!

@Jupiteer I think if I went to my actual ivf clinic (which we aren't as it's very far away from where we stay) they'd do internal straight away but I read on my private scanning clinic local that they'll do abdominal first. I will see what they recommend given the stage I'll be at. It isn't until a week on Saturday! Keeping myself busy to try and make the time go faster! Glad to hear your OHSS is settling down too!
