Had my transfer 2 days ago and I was SO tired yesterday - was anyone else like this? Also been getting like shooting pains/cramps. Feeling a bit better today though.

Anyone testing soon?? I'm going to wait til next Sunday

@laurapop Haha, yeah, it all ended so abruptly!

Short update from me: I've got my 7 week scan on 21 Feb. Gonna need to think of some ways to keep my mind occupied till then...

@countrypunk seems like such a long wait doesn't it but it will hopefully fly by! Last time I caved and booked a private 6 week scan too 🙈

@laurapop I was very tired and also had cramps from early on! Every single finger and toe is crossed for you.

Still not a signal symptom! ( well apart from being annoyed with my husband but not sure I can blame that on the IVF!)

@laurapop I had my transfer yesterday, I was pretty tired but I think that was down to be not being able to sleep at all. I zonked out on the sofa for about 5 hours!

So, refresher on me: 8 eggs, 6 mature, 2 fertilised. Got a call yesterday, one had made it to a blast but the quality is poor. Other one was behind. Said it’s better than nothing as it is a blast, so I had the transfer yesterday.

I was quite crampy in the evening, that’ll be the after effects of the procedure as it was quite uncomfortable.

I didn’t think to ask the number (though Care do grade them in a weird way!), other than it’s not great, but knowing the number won’t change anything now and wouldn’t anyway. It’s just give me something to Google.

Chances are not great, but it’s a chance, which is more than we’ve had in the past 3.5 years!

The other one didn’t make it. Got a call today, it had progressed a little bit but wasn’t a blast so can’t be frozen.

If this one doesn’t work, it’s going to get expensive!!!

@Lauralozzle I think it's better to not know the grade - it just gives us another thing to worry about and obsess over. If they transferred it then it's got more than a chance. I'm sorry your other didn't make it. Sending masses and masses of luck to you. Xx

Thanks @countrypunk - I saw the thread was full and was hoping someone else would make a new one since I felt like a bit of a fraud not actually needing my FET in the end. Haha

goodluck to you @Lauralozzle . Don’t worry about the grading. I’ve seen so many people have success with lower grades over their top grades (myself included) so I don’t put much on the grades.

congrats @JuliaIVF83 - those betas look great. I had no symptoms until 5.5 weeks in I think and now I feel like I am hungover and nauseous all day. I hope you’re one of those ladies who goes all pregnancy with no symptoms!

Had my 7 week scan on Friday. Was worried they wouldn’t see anything as I know I have long cycles and ovulated late. So relieved the doctor saw a baby with a heartbeat. It was dated at 6w+2 so almost a week behind but they said not to worry about that at this stage. 12 week scan in March is when they’ll date it. So relieved and had a little cry. Seeing the midwife next week for my first appointment. Not sure whether to tell work soon or wait until 12 weeks.

Thanks @countrypunk ☺️ how’re you feeling? I’ve had nausea on and off and every time i feel ok I start panicking! Can’t imagine every enjoying pregnancy x

@Jane1284 so exiting to have your scan! I’ve got my 7.5 week on Thursday and absolutely bricking it. With you on feeling hungover!

I have my 6 week scan on Sunday- I booked a private one and on 21 of February I have the 8 week scan at the clinic 🙏

Yesterday I had a bit of spotting guys and I was so upset all day 🥺 it lasted a few hours and then stopped
Hopefully is implantation bleeding and nothing else 🙏🌈

@laurapop I wish all the best luck with your transfer x feeling tired is absolutely normal x I felt wiped out exhausted and all day laying on my sofa x look after yourself, plenty of rest and nice meals, avoid hot baths and doing any heavy exercise. I had loads of cramping and pulling sensation down on my belly since day 1 and that's so good sign the embryo is trying to get comfortable in the new home ♥️🙏🦋

@Jane1284 ahh you saw the baby congratulations 🎉 don't worry about the measurements is still soo early and the baby is tiny and they can't be 100% accurate with the dates x the 12w scan is the dating scan and will be more detailed x so happy for you 🥹 look after yourself and the precious little baby 💝

@Lucy5yearsttc ah iam dying from the nausea today I woke up since 4am and I threw up everywhere haha poor husband got so scared as he was asleep 🥹
My nausea the last 2 days is on and off , really bad in the morning and gets slightly better in the afternoon and bad again before bed 😵‍💫 pffff

@AnnaPr1992 I had spotting in my last pregnancy at week 5 and I know some other people who did too. And everything was fine 🥰. But I know how worrying it is

Omgg thankyou @countrypunk . The other thread stopped and I thought it was one of our best threads. I joined a new one but I missed this one so much. Everyone was so lovely on here. Congrats to everyone.😍 I feel so many October babies coming ❤ so u had My bloods on Thursday they were 400 I was 4 weeks had another bloods yesterday they are 920 😍 got my first scan booked on the 17th so excited. X starting to feel nausea in the mornings and back pain alot x

Is that high blood tests hcg for 4 weeks and 3 days? 920 beta. Anyone had high numbers like that?

Also my first midwife appointment over the phone has been booked on Tuesday. The gp booked me in soo I'm really excited and thinking postive.

@AnnaPr1992 sorry you have been spotting. I know how scary seeing that blood can be. It is super common in early pregnancy but it still isn’t nice. Do you use pessaries for progesterone? I ask because I had spotting in my first pregnancy and spoke to the nurse at the clinic and they said the pessaries can bother the cervix. Made sense and once I stopped using the applicator and put it in with my finger I spotted spotting. Good luck for your scans. So exciting xx

@AnnaPr1992 i heard spotting is also normal . My midwife said anything like that just let your clinic know or take yourself to the early pregnancy unit and they will assess you. You can get referred by your GP midwife x even its early days I let my gp know that I was pregnant and have already been allocated a midwife. She will be calling me on Tueaday x

@Frosty91 those betas sound good. I think the levels can vary so much by individual which is why the actual number isn’t important but more that it is increasing at the right rate.
my clinic has never done betas so I don’t know what my numbers are but it seems like some women have low numbers and others have high and it’s not an indication of twins. Would you like twins? They should be able to see on the first scan! Xx
