@laurapop I think i’ll test on 14th as thats 10 days after my transfer, i’m worried about testing early because of the trigger injection giving a false result.

@Lucy5yearsttc @laurapop I have lower back pain that's my new symptom been about two days now. My mum said it's normal and the nurse she goes its very common as everything is stretching away but it's so painful. I don't think paracetamol will do anything. I had a nap today after work I worked till 1 came home showered and napped so I am starting to feel the tiredness. Lol napping felt so good. I aint napped since I was a baby. I feel mild nausea that's about it. This Thursday I will be 5 weeks so I guess the nausea makes sense x how are you both x

@Frosty91 I love a good nap. And defo got the tiredness too. Just feel zapped of life right now! And I’ve got nausea, back pain here and there, cramping. Boobs have stopped being sore which I freaked out about but apparently your hormones can settle. I’m just so anxious! Hopefully after the scan on Thursday I’ll feel better. Have you tried heat for your back or is that hot allowed?x

Hi ladies x I am 5w and 4d and the nausea is killing me 🤢 only in the morning I threw up 3 times.
I feel a little bit better just now and I managed to get a plain piece of toast down 😣
I feel sooo tired ... all day I just wanna sleep 😴
Tomorrow first day back to work after 3 weeks , I am dreading it 🥹

@AnnaPr1992 Oh love! Surely if you're throwing up that much you won't go in tomorrow? I've had the faintest bit of nausea and I keep hoping I'll get more because I've read morning sickness is a very good sign (careful what you wish for I know). So sorry you're suffering. Xx

@countrypunk ahh honestly iam suffering as soon as I open my eyes in the morning I vomit and thank God I have a bucket in my room coz I can't get to the toilet on time 🥹😂
I can't understand why I have to be so unlucky and have to be feeling so sick on top of everything 😵‍💫

Definitely nausea and vomiting is very good sign but is like a torture 😣

My boss told me she can extend my sickness period but I thought maybe going to work will be a distraction and I won't be feeling the nausea that much ... I will give it a go and see 🙏

Hi all,
I am starting with progesterone pessaries tonight and wondering if any of you have any leftover applicators? I know some pessaries in the UK come with applicators but I bought them in Spain and they are without. I asked in two pharmacies and was told they don't sell applicators only. I know Amazon sells them but not sure if they are correct ones (or maybe they are one size fits all :)). Thought asking here won't hurt.

@peonygirl i wasn’t given any applicators I’m afraid - I hadn’t heard of such a luxury !

How are you doing @countrypunk @Frosty91 - we must have our scans around the same date ? Mine is 24th Feb .

@Frosty91 did you have to do a 3rd beta ?

@JuliaIVF83 Two weeks tomorrow! I actually booked a 6 week scan this morning but then I read that the heartbeat isn't always detectable that early and it's not uncommon for the embryo to measure behind at that stage. And if either of those things happen I'll be an anxious mess until the 7 week scan. So I'm gonna cancel! The next 2 weeks can't go quick enough.

Is everyone who got a BFP still on their progesterone pessaries? How long will you take them for? My clinic told me I could stop but I didn't want to! So I'm carrying on until at least the first scan.

@Lucy5yearsttc I haven't used hot water bottle my mum said not to in early pregnancy. It is alot of back pain but all worth it I suppose. When is your scan ? My sore boobs come and go too. Sometimes nothing sometimes proper sore x

@AnnaPr1992 nausea is good sign. Try eating ginger biscuits or rich tea to help I went back to work today with altered hours so glad I changed my hours get to nap in the afternoon. X

@JuliaIVF83 my first scan is 17th Febuary next Friday. Excited and nervous. No third beta she said my second one doubled and was high 920 so didn't need to do another one and said because hcg is high looks like I will be ready for a scan next week. Got my first midwife appointment tomorrow over the phone then the next one 1st march to do all the baby tests like for sickle. I have no idea. Feeling nervous and scared and excited all at the same time x did you go for a third beta? X

@countrypunk originally they said up to 12 weeks of pregnancy. They said up until my scan on 17th and then they will tell me but I will ask them if I could continue till 12 weeks x

@countrypunk My clinic has recommended continuing progesterone until 13 weeks when the placenta has taken over. I’ll need to buy some more medication to keep me going until then which is annoying but I’m scared to stop 😂

My scan is on 16 February. So excited but so nervous!

My sister had a baby last summer and she’s sent me a list of things she can pass on to me to use, which is very exciting.

@JuliaIVF83 just read the previous message congrats on your third beta great numbers they have definitely tripled 😍 very good sign. my first beta was 9 days after transfer and the second one 11 days after transfer x

@Frosty91 I think I'll probably do the same. The nurse I spoke to today said they only recommend them if you have a history of miscarriage, but seeing as this is my first pregnancy I don't want to leave anything to chance. She also said if anything does go wrong the pessaries are likely to mask it and I won't know, so that's something to be aware of.

@Purrrrr your scan is a day before mine. Good luck 😍 exciting times. Love how all our scans are all similar.

@countrypunk some clinics also say you can use until 16 weeks I wouldn't stop them as of yet atleast 12 weeks x

@Purrrrr I'm scared to stop too! I just feel like if I stopped and then lost the pregnancy I'd blame myself and it would be even more devastating. And the nurse agreed and said for that reason alone I should carry on. So I will!

@Frosty91 When are you meant to start booking / looking into midwife stuff ? Do I wait until I graduate from the IVF clinic ?

@Frosty91 I have tried everything and nothing helps my nausea even cyclizine, I had exactly the same bad nausea and vomiting in my last pregnancy and I ended up to be hospitalised due to dehydration 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫
I am trying so hard and when I feel less sick o don't loose the chance I eat whatever I can 🤭

Yeah girls we have to continue the progesterone and oestrogen tablets until we complete 12 weeks of pregnancy
