Hello!

Is anyone else scheduled to have a FET in Dec? I had my egg collection at the end of October and as we did PGT-A testing we're doing a FET in my next cycle. I've been given an estimated transfer date of 5 December.

Would love to speak with others who will be going through this at the same time!

@RoseLlo it was a bit rough (took over 20 mins to find my cervix!) but a relief that the thaw went well; time has slowed to a crawl this week, counting down the days until I can test and know one way or another.

@badassmum22 how are you doing after your transfer? So pleased it went well.

@Nat4819 I’ll be keeping everything crossed that the new higher dose makes the difference and your lining is looking good on Sunday x

I hope you don’t mind me jumping on the band wagon, I had my second transfer (FET) on 28th and now waiting for test day.
I’ve spotted pretty much from the evening of the transfer, colour has varied from light pink to brown to bright red (once) now brown again. On my first successful transfer which sadly ended in a miscarriage at 8 weeks I didnt spot at all so this is worrying to me. The clinic said this is normal but still I can’t help but panic. X

Welcome @SH998 - we’re only a day apart in the dreaded tww, hope you’re doing okay. I had some spotting with my last two rounds, both of which resulted in a bfp, if that helps x

@neuroticteachermummy thank you for the welcome and the feedback. Great news about your transfer, yours the 29th? How are you feeling after it, did all go to plan? Was it a fresh or frozen?
Do you mind me asking when you started spotting, how long it lasted and the colour. I’m still spotting now so I’m thinking the worst, no other symptoms at all. I didn’t have any of this on my last pregnancy x

@SH998 spotting with previous two fets lasted on and off from about 2d post transfer until about 6weeks. It varied in colour from dark brown to reddish-pink.

Like an idiot, I’ve caved and tested (5dp5dt). Nothing. I know it’s early but my stress levels are soaring now - why do I do this to myself??

@neuroticteachermummy it is still early so try not to stress, are you feeling any different/symptoms? What’s days did you test on your last FET’s?
I tested this morning too and nothing so like you I’ve messed with my own head. Deep down, I know it’s been unsuccessful, this one has been completely different to my last positive one.
Try to enjoy your day the best you can x

@SH998 I’m a serial early tester so had positives on day 6 (with my daughter) and day 5 (with my last which ended in a mc). I’ve had some cramping and spotting but nothing other than that.
As you say, let’s just take it one day at a time and hope that it’s just too early.

@neuroticteachermummy lets hope we are just being too eager. On my last positive I tested on the morning of day 7 and seen a very faint line but I did have strange stomach pains the night before. With this one there has been absolutely nothing at all and I’ve spotted since day 1. I’m now sure my period is trying to come :( x

Sorry I’ve been hiding in the shadows.. @SH998 @neuroticteachermummy I’ve done exactly the same.Im 5p 5dt with two embryos (one a little dodge)
I hope I make you feel better that I tested at 2dp (yes I’m that mental!) I actually got a faint but definite line on a wondfo that night?!
but rest since (the 8 or 9🤣) have all been negative.
I then did two frers on 3d and 4d with what I think have indent lines - something there but almost nothing there too.. this is a total head f!

I have all the same symptoms of my two successful transfers. I had cramps and twinges the first two days. Now I’m dizzy, thirsty and hot at night.
last time like you @neuroticteachermummy I got my clear positive at 5dp - so I’ve basically been in despair the last two days. I’m in bits.
I know it’s not worked.
I think the worst bit has been the false positive so went around Friday thinking I was pregnant (planning Christmas without booze in my head etc!)
@neuroticteachermummy - cramping and spotting sounds positive.
let’s hope we get lucky the next two days.
I can’t concentrate on anything..

Sorry @SH998 just saw you are spotting too - do you have any other symptoms? Saying that I honestly now think all my symptoms are just progesterone and have been on the last bfp’s - I just didn’t realise if that makes sense so think it means I’m pregnant again

@Nat4819 how did your scan go today? I hope the increased meds have helped your lining and that you’re doing okay x

@neuroticteachermummy it went well thank you! My lining is now up to 8mm so they were happy and have scheduled my transfer for Monday 12th, I'll start my progesterone support on Wednesday. I'm both excited but also super scared that it won't work 😬 How are you feeling? Will you test again tomorrow? x

@Fanny81 its the hope that gets you, every damn time. I’ll be keeping everything crossed for a change in fortune for us both in the next few days.

Im now stuck in the hell of testing, I’ll keep going until 8dp5dt and then start making my peace.

@Fanny81 sorry to hear that your still not yet showing a BFP. I tested again this morning and negative so I know I’m out, I knew 2 days after the transfer, I’m not testing anymore as seems pointless. I’m continuing with the estrogen/progesterone until the weekend but all this is doing is prolonging the inevitable.
Absolutely no symptoms/twinges at all. I’ve spotted every day since the transfer and now I think my period is trying to come. Devastated doesn’t even come close to how I feel.
I hope this turns around for you as you still have time.

@neuroticteachermummy still no change for me so I’m out which I knew deep down 2 days after the transfer. Hope your luckier than me and your test changes soon x

I'm heading off to Czech Republic today. FET Wednesday but I'll be there for 5 days (only needed 2 but its the way the flights worked out). Hoping I'll use the time to relax and not overthink as I'll be by myself this time. I've got butterflies this morning!!

@SH998 I'm sorry you feel it's not worked this time. This is so hard. When was/is your official test date?x

@SH998 I’m so sorry. Which day are you now? 7? What’s your next steps? Do you have any more frozen? I don’t - I would be into a fresh cycle now. In summary all my embryos seem to be not good in some way. Maybe a sign I’m just too old.

It’s just horrendous isn’t it? I know the feeling exactly. I’m working from home today as can’t put a brave face on at the office.

im 6 days now - but tested again last night and bfn of course so I know I’m out. I really want to stop the meds asap as the progesterone is making me feel crap.

I hope this negativity isn’t putting you other ladies off?! I’ve read enough of these groups to know that there are always similar number of bfps to the bfns so I hope we have got them out the way for you and we see the bfps soon!

Thank you for all the well-wishes for my trip 😊 I'm at the hotel now. I have somehow managed to relax today - been for a wander to do some site-seeing and now back at the hotel for a lazy afternoon! I hope everyone else is going ok :)

@Nat4819 the clinic is called Reprofit in Brno. I've gone through an agency in the UK but I would go straight through the clinic if I did this again.

@SPR40 how did your transfer go yesterday?
