FET December 2022

Hello!

Is anyone else scheduled to have a FET in Dec? I had my egg collection at the end of October and as we did PGT-A testing we're doing a FET in my next cycle. I've been given an estimated transfer date of 5 December.

Would love to speak with others who will be going through this at the same time!

@RoseLlo hey lovely I feel rotten but I never tested as I knew I would overthink. So I've just told myself it's a cold lol.

Really sorry to hear @badassmum22 that you weren't successful. I hope the doctor appointment goes well in terms of getting a clear next steps plan.

Im still suffering following the Covid infection. Not left the house for a week and feeling very tired with a cough and heavy chest. Am 8dp5dt today. Trying not to symptom spot, but when you're couped up at home all day it's really hard not to look on the Facebook groups or Google. I still have sore boobs, nausea and tiredness. We're going to test on Thursday and i'm totally dreading it because we have a failed fresh in April and those negative tests haunt you. . I think by that point I'll just want to know one way or the other though.

@Yoga817 I'm very impressed that you can hold out so long. This is my third FET and always peeing from day 4 or 5. I have no shame. Though the way SPR40 did it must be so rewarding. No squinting or guessing.

@Yoga817 Sorry to hear you are still suffering with Covid, I hope you start to feel better soon! I tested yesterday at 5dp5dt and got a faint positive, tested again this morning and got a darker line. Feeling really happy but trying to remind myself to take it day by day as there are still many hurdles to get over! Will keep everything crossed for you for Thursday!

I am waiting for my blood results to come back today. My clinic only do 1 set of bloods if levels are ok and then scan on 3rd hand which seem ages away! X

I have been hit hard by pregnancy fatigue - have fallen asleep at my desk in the middle of the afternoon for two days straight! Thankfully I've been WFH this week 😂

I took a test this morning and it was positive!! I am so surprised and relieved as I thought it hadn't worked a couple of days ago ❤️

Thankfully yesterday was my last day at work until the start of Jan. Until then I will be frantically googling tips for how to stay awake at work when pregnant 😂

I had my blood results 1338 hcg so they don't want to see me again until scan on 3rd Jan. Discussing with hubbi whether to get a private hcg before scan as I was all prepped for 2 hcgs to check it was doubling, but don't know whether to just wait and enjoy the next 2 weeks 😊

@Nat4819 the spa was lovely, I mean I couldn't enjoy any of it vecause no sauna, jacuzzi or steam room use lol. But we had a great time just being away and enjoying the time together xxx thanks for asking xxx

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I'm terrified to TFP the test in the morning but also want to know either way. I have lunch with a friend afterwards, so that'll be lovely either way. I'll keep you posted.

Ladies!! I we tested this morning and it's a dye stealer positive. We can't believe it!!!!🥰😁. Still in shock!

@SPR40 your positive vibes worked. We're still in shock. When we did the test we saw a line developing where it's normally blank and I kept saying 'there's another line this time'!

@SPR40 thank you! We really weren't expecting it especially after the Covid fever. Maybe it helped this time! I turn 41 on Wednesday and we go away for a couple of nights on 29th. Can't wait. I've sent my other half to get the top up oestrogen and progesterone today. I think the next step is a 6 week scan on week of 3rd January. Never thought this would happen to me!

@SPR40 how are you feeling?

@Yoga817 I absolutely completely understand, I will be 41 in April and never thought it would happen either. I am still in shock every day and very tired lol. What a great Christmas Birthday combo treat and a nice get away to celebrate together. Xxx

I think my scan will be on the 3rd too ❤️My blood test isn't until the 29th which seems very late but that's the earliest my GP surgery can do. I'm not sure if I should get one done privately before that? I've never given this bit any thought before as I never thought this would happen!

With Christmas 29th will be here in no time but if you really want one then you can book a private one x
