IVF cycle Sept/Oct 2022

Hi everyone.

I wanted to start a thread for anyone going through an IVF round in the next few weeks. I am currently on my third round of ICSI after a MMC at 9weeks on cycle 1 and a BFN on cycle 2. Third time lucky, I hope!

IVF can feel like a very lonely place sometimes so it's nice to have somewhere to vent and get advice 🙂

@Spink2022 oh that's amazing so happy for you 🥰 it's such a relief to get that scan out of the way, I'm 10+2 today and got my booking in midwife appointment tomorrow hopefully I get my 12 weeks scan soon, you had many symptoms? I had awful morning sickness but it's got so much better the last week or so thank goodness

@Tonim86 that’s great let me know how your midwife apt goes. Is it in person or on the phone? I’m waiting for the midwife to call me. I’m 12w on 28th dec so there’s no way I’ll be getting a scan until mid Jan I don’t think. I’m going to get a private one on 23rd dec I think.

I’ve been sick every day at least once for the last 2 weeks but I think I’m getting used to it now. My belly is so swollen and bloated and I’m covered in spots so not feeling my best 😂 I’m so glad to hear yours is clearing up! I hope mine does soon! How are you finding eating?? I’m so worried about putting on too much weight and being told off

I know it’s all gone quiet! Nothing to report from me, just been doing ovulation testing getting ready for transfer in the new year!
I been enjoying a bit of freedom before Dry Jan too 😂

@Spink2022 we had a probate scan last week I was worried about some brown spitting and loss of the extreme sickness but all was ok.
Food wise not great ate a whole pack of biscuits earlier 😂😩 however I can't stomach potato at all which is strange but good because I haven't eaten crisps or chips in weeks and mainly been drinking iced water but never ate so much bread in my life. I'm not going to worry about weight too much and try and enjoy it a bit
