IVF cycle Sept/Oct 2022

Hi everyone.

I wanted to start a thread for anyone going through an IVF round in the next few weeks. I am currently on my third round of ICSI after a MMC at 9weeks on cycle 1 and a BFN on cycle 2. Third time lucky, I hope!

IVF can feel like a very lonely place sometimes so it's nice to have somewhere to vent and get advice 🙂

Hello everyone
After testing negative 8dp5dt I gave up and even stopped the progesterone suppositories.
Yesterday was OTD and I refused to test or go to the clinic.i summoned courage today to do a blood test and it came out POSITIVE.i didn't believe the result and did an urine test and it also came out POSITIVE.
Indeed WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST!!!!

Just an update from me- My period has started today so I'm out 😫 didn't even get to OTD.
Was spotting brown blood since 8dpt and today (10dpt) it turned red and heavy and period pains are out in full force 😵‍💫

Hi all, I hope you don’t mind me joining. I have been following you all from the start of your journeys which has been super helpful!

I had my EC yesterday and they retrieved 5 eggs, 4 of which have fertilised over night. I was wondering if anyone could please give me some insight as to how they decide either a 3 day or 5 day transfer?

Trying so hard to stay relaxed about the whole process but it’s almost impossible.

@Tonim86 I still had to test this morning as even though it was obvious it was over, the clinic need a negative test as part of the protocol.

we ended up with 4 embryos and tonight at a family birthday meal I’d brought a card for my sister in law and my husband signed it, I had no idea until I saw the card that he had signed it from us, our cat and all 4 embryos. I wept in that restaurant! I don’t think he’ll ever know how much that meant to me but said he just did it out of extinct. I don’t know about anyone else but as it’s me going through the majority of the physical stuff sometimes and I hate that this happens I almost forget that he’s going through it to. It’s so lovely he’s so invested but feels like a lot of responsibility also. I want nothing more than to give him a child.

@Nobabyyet20 this is so sweet and yes it's very important we remember that. Since our cycle was unsuccessful I have never seen DP cry so much and it's breaking my heart. For the last 3 years of us trying he has always been strong and this has broken him. Very easy for us to forget they are going through it as well 😔 I feel so guilty.

Hello everyone, just checking in. Hope you're all doing OK.

I had my baseline scan last night and am starting ovitrelle this evening. I've had a lot of unpleasant side effects with the buserelin and the nurse told me the ovitrelle will balance things out and I'll feel better in a few days. I thought I'd share that in case anyone else is going through the same. There's light at the end of the tunnel 🌞

Hi all

I am 9dp5dt now. OTD is Friday so nearly there. Had a bit of pink discharge yesterday on my progesterone applicator but that has disappeared. I was worried it was AF because she is due today. Just a couple more days to wait!

I’ve been waiting all night to test. Held off until 5:40am! But got a very faint BFP on their hcg test and a darker one on FRER!!!!!!!!!!!! I just burst out crying 😭 I’m going to test again in 2 days to see if it gets darker. Do you think my lines are dark enough? I don’t get a beta at my clinic.

pics of my tests now they’re dry. Original pics taken exactly 3 mins after the test.
