IVF/FET October/November 21

I think I'm a bit early on some of the other threads so starting one for October/November 😊

1st fresh cycle in august ended in CP.

Booked for follow up consultation 30th September so hopefully I'll be able to transfer late October early November 🤞🏼

5 frozen blasts. Hoping to transfer 2 this time round but I'm not sure they'll let me 😬

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 good luck for today! Mine is hopefully at 1pm but they did say they would call me this morning. I am so so nervous about it being cancelled.
It’s so hard when others don’t understand, my friends don’t at all but luckily one of the ladies at work has just been through the process so at least I have one person who understands. She had 3 unsuccessful rounds and on her 4th round it’s worked and she is now 13 weeks pregnant. Hopefully that will be all of us soon!

Good luck to those having transfer today or those that are still in the TWW. I keep checking in to see how you're doing and good news always makes me happy and keeps the hope there ❤️ Hoping for lots of BFPs for you all xxx

@makeithappen2022 sorry think I might have confused you, my transfer isn't until 29th November, I do my first test 10th December then I repeat 17th December :-/ literally world longest FET, started 19th October!!!! :( you're right it's nice to have atleast 1 person to talk to, I just feel like all I do is complain. The side effects have kicked the 💩 out of me, so finding positivity hard x

I am feeling nervous

@Gensola & @makeithappen2022, @IVFGotThis05 and I are on the same timelines too. Our transfers were yesterday. Good luck! I was a bit nervous but I was surprised how easy and pain free things were. As someone else said, the hardest thing was not weeing on the doctor 😅. I also got some photos of my blastocyst and frostie.

Oh I added the photo & then deleted it but it seems to have added anyway! Oh well, now you can all see my blastocyst.

@Gensola best of luck for today, how exciting :) yep I totally get what you are saying, I feel most of my time I am putting on a brave face, either to strangers, friends or even my partner. So grateful for this thread where I can say I am actually not coping with life lol x

I've come to the conclusion what will be will be
Ive eaten terrible the last few days! It's like I'm comfort eating !! My boobs have stopped hurting - I still have this strange ache in my belly but other than that I just feel meh and I'm officially due on tomorrow so I'm sort of expecting to see af. Such a horrible wait!! 2 cycles down and just feel exhausted

@strawberrysummer19 my boobs still are tender, I poke them every day to check, but that could be why. 🤣 I'm 15 days post egg collection today, so I'm expecting symptoms to vanish. Maybe the progesterone is just doing a good job? 🤷‍♀️

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 @Gensola I'm the same, I've muted a few people on social media who get pregnant too easily for my liking and then moan or used #blessed 🤮 however, once I got my beautiful IVF baby I honestly treasure every bit of excruciating pain and sleepless night. I ALMOST feel sorry for people that have babies quickly because it's truly hard and surprisingly painful so I wonder if it's harder to cope when you've not dreamt for so long to have this? Anyway, not that I'll ever know what's it's like to fall pregnant without extreme cost, pain and inconvenience 😂

@ExhaustedPigeon1988 don't feel bad about not feeling positive, it won't change the outcome - otherwise everyone would be pregnant on their first round. Forgive yourself for feeling tired and rubbish, most people wouldn't cope with what we go through for the possibility of pregnancy for sure!

@strawberrysummer19 im exactly the same, just feel meh and exhausted. I've got an awful progesterone headache and I feel sick most of the day. Progesterone is such a headfuck, this is literally how I feel every negative cycle as well as pregnant - although the fact that I'd give my arm to feel like this for the next 9 months too shows how much I want this!

Thanks @MrsC2018 you are my voice of reason :) last round was so much easier as it was so much quicker. I start progesterone Tuesday, then the transfer is the following Monday, so know I'm going to be a mess way before transfer even hits, the pessaries really screwed me up last time!

So excited for all you ladies that are now reaching the end of the tww, can't wait to hear some positive results, may give me a bit more hope too :) x

@MrsC2018 I've just realised I haven't had the headaches. Thank god. The trapped wind is enough. Its keeping me awake at night! I'm actually at the point where I'm going to focus on the positive of feeling better, if this hasn't worked. Because I feel like I'm dying. When is otd for you again?

Mine is Friday. 13 days after transfer.

@Gensola @IVFGotThis05 @makeithappen2022 @CycleGirl20 I am also on the same timeline. Just finished my transfer under sedation.

@paintfairy haha I'm always the same, I'm ridiculously sensitive to medication and always feel like I'm dying by this point and although I'll be devastated with a neg test at least I can come off the medication! My OTD is Saturday, 14 days past a 4 day transfer

@paintfairy no trapped wind though, always nausea, headaches and extreme tiredness. That's quite enough for me though 😂 have you tried peppermint capsules, I had that recommended after c-section (thought I was going to die then too - notice a theme here!)

@MrsC2018 I've tried drinking peppermint tea but maybe not enough. I've not had nausea or headaches but the wind is diving me crackers. I did get headaches on it previously though so I'm surprised i haven't.

@MrsC2018 it's horrid isn't it as much as I don't want to see a negative I do want to get back to normal ! Or corse unless I'm pregnant!!

All done and dusted here - two embryos on board! Now for the TWW 😳😄 my OTD is 27 Nov, will try my absolute best not to rest until then.

There was some discussion yesterday for me about putting back the low quality embryo as well as the medium quality I had. In the end we didn't & at 35 and on my first go it might have been unusual. I am still wondering if it was the right choice

@CycleGirl20 I’m 36 and they only let me have two because I’ve had three failed transfers already, all with seemingly good quality blastocysts. It’s our last two Frosties so if this doesn’t work we will have to start our third fresh cycle - this won’t be until the summer of 2022 as we need time to save.

That makes sense. Fingers crossed for both of us @Gensola🤞
