Thanks @Bells3032 and @VenusStarr!
@Georgie87B, @VenusStarr After attempts of trying naturally and thinking every month I got pregnant, then 2 unsuccessful IUIs and 1 ICSI this round of ICSI I am not running to test earlier either... I do not know now but at least I am also not disappointed yet. Will just test on the OTD.
@Hoping4baby21, 1st time I had the trigger at largest follicles of 18mm, but I thought it was too early... 2nd time they didn't trigger for 1 more day even though some follicles were already above 20.
@2mumlife
Looks like they test more in the UK. Is PGD also common to have or based on some indications?
@Bells3032 I feel you.
In my first clinic they had terrible planning. They wouldn't plan you in in advance, I had to call on the 1st day of my cycle to see if I can start. They also sent us to several IUIs first despite heavy male factor, then one cycle we missed ovulation, then when they finally gave a go for ICSI and I called at my 1st cycle day, they all of a sudden said I had to do hysteroscopy. That's after months of first seeing smth that could potentially be a very small polyp and deciding not to do anything about it! Then they also didn't have appointments for hysteroscopy for that month anymore and I was calling different other clinics to see if I could do it there without losing another cycle (hysteroscopy showed no polyp btw). Then 2 cycles I would call and they would say no places to start IVF that month. Last time they did it I cried so long and felt so miserable and helpless. Next day they called me back and said that somebody didn't start so I could start if I wanted. I did but I don't think my emotional condition was helping after all they've been doing. I tried with them in March, results were not great and I was already so disappointed with the whole course of treatment that switched to another clinic.
Just hang in there and remember we have a wonderful goal but the path for us is not easy. But we are strong!
@everyone, do your clinics do back to back FET cycles?
