Had my day 10 scan today and the lining was at 6.5mm which is really not great. I was told 2 more days of injections and then to come back and see where it is at but was already warned it probably won’t even ready for trigger. I don’t mind the extra days of injections (I have had so many I can’t count them anymore) but if I have to wait too long my estrogen levels might get too high and then I will have to cancel due to the risk of OHSS. I already have 13 follies and many smaller ones. It is so ironic: I have more then enough eggs but just can’t get my lining to grow so it is all pretty pointless having so many... if I have to cancel i don’t think I can face another cycle (this is my 11th one)....

@DoctorBambino thanks - and yes, it's so much waiting! I wish I'd known that the injections were actually a piece of piss and it's the bureaucracy that's the killer! Fingers crossed for you for tomorrow x

@Tarsette I'm so sorry - have you had this happen before? Is there anything they can change in the future to improve lining? What thickness would they like to see it? It just sucks so much to come all this way to fall at an arbitrary hurdle

Welcome back @TheSnufflet I'm glad they did extra checks before you stimmed, but goodness, that is a long time! I bet you're ready to just get on with it now!

Oh @Tarsette I'm sorry this is happening, is there anything they can give you for your lining? When I did a letrozole cycle, they gave me progynova. If not, could they do a freeze all cycle? (sorry if that's not a good question).

I'm 3dp5dt, had a call from the clinic just check how I am, which I thought was really sweet. Feeling OK, was quite periody feeling last night and had some bubbling sensations this morning (had them on day 1 too). But not much else going on today. Anxiety is creeping in, part of me believes that this could work but the other part is saying don't be silly. Still feel like I don't want test day to come.

@VenusStarr trigger was good! I'm so tired where I hardly slept incase my alarm didn't go off but then we couldn't get back to sleep! Early night tonight.! Bath and hair wash and chill for me when little one goes to bed.

We are trying to work out when ET would be
If we are EC Wednesday my clinic said we should be told at EC when transfer is? Do we get calls from embryologist in the mean time ? Not sure how it all works!! X

@strawberrysummer19 With my clinic I got a call on day 1 to say how many fertilised, then I confirm I was provisionally booked for a day 3 transfer and they called day 3 to say all were OK and we met the criteria got a day 5 transfer (we had 3 in the running, all the same quality). They did caveat and say there's a small chance none would make it. I didn't get a call on day 5 (most nerve wracking of all the waits) but I know some clinics do call to say its all good.

But I know some clinics don't check on them from day 1 and you're just booked for a day 5. My clinic had prepared me from the outset that day 3 was on the cards (and they'd suggested it was more likely for me due to age, amh and history) but we made it to day 5.

So you should be transfer next Monday? They might give you the time there and then after EC. I got my day 3 time before I left the clinic after EC x

My clinic said I will be told tomorrow and said it's usually 5 days so I guess it will be Monday.

@TheSnufflet Oh my! At least everything came back ok with test results, thats a loooong time to be on down reg drugs though!

@VenusStarr All good here thanks! Glad to have started meds. With my IUI cycles I felt like that - a kind of blissful ignorance at the beginning of the 2WW.

@strawberrysummer19 I cant an update on day 1, day 3, confrimation of time and instructions for ET on day 4, and a call morning of day 5 to confirm transfer was going ahead.

@TheSnufflet oh what a palaver hun. I did wonder where you'd got to. Sorry it's going to take longer but good that it's still happening and the thyroid is alright!

@TheSnufflet nice to hear from you! so sorry to hear you have been having a tough time so far this cycle with things being put on hold but I suppose its better to be safe than sorry to ensure you don't waste your NHS round. Not that that makes anything easier emotionally with all them injections! Finger crossed you get started in June as planned 🤞
I am doing good thank you currently 7dt5dt and quite content in my PUPO bubble at the moment just taking each day as it comes. Getting to usually progestone symptoms: tiredness, sore boobs and bloated. This is defiantly not a glamorous process 😂😂

@DoctorBambino how exciting good luck for OTD tomorrow!! How are you feeling in general any symptoms? My OTD is Friday! 😝 Let hope for a few more BFPs in this group 🤞

@Tarsette so sorry to hear your linning isn't playing ball at the moment. Have they given you any other options instead of cancelling completely if it doesn't get thick enough? Got everything crossed that it gets to where it needs to be in the next few days 🤞xx

@VenusStarr yeah a bit uncomfortable but not to bad. When she said I had 20 on one side I was expecting to get worse over the few days but I didn't do yeah all in all ok!
I've read a few people with a bubbling sensation and it's been good news rather then bad. I felt the same on my last cycle, like I was silly to believe it would happen to me but it did, unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage but it happened! Try to stay positive.

@VenusStarr ooh is that what your clinic does then? Blood test first. Good luck!!

That's interesting about the bubble sensation @Alexm06 I'm sorry about your mmc ❤️ it's hard to trust your feelings and your body after loss and going through all this isn't it x

I don't think a beta is typical @notyetamumbuttrying they called me with my progesterone result and the nurse said oh we need to book your beta in. I think I'll just wait for that. It'll be horrible waiting for the call but I think I'd rather that than seeing a negative.

@Alexm06 this is my first one, the one before was a baseline scan. I hope they're ready as I can feel twinges and things now. I ovulate cd11 usually so it's weird still having eggs in me at this stage of my cycle.
@VenusStarr that makes sense then. Aw thank you 🙏🏾 I hope it's all go from tomorrow but equally I'm petrified too!

@VenusStarr yeah god knows what I'll be like this time I'm definitely feel a lot more negative this time but just trying to stay a bit positive.

@Alexm06 hard to keep the positivity but we gotta try! Thank you, only 8 days, so 9 tomorrow which is the average for my hospital. I'm very intrigued to see what's what!

@notyetamumbuttrying oh that's alright I was stimming for 10 days. My last cycle was 14 that sucked! Just done my trigger so I'm all good to go now.

Thanks for the encouragement, ladies! It really means a lot! My lining has always been my main issue and the whole reason I am having IVF in the first place so I’ve always known getting it to grow would be a challenge. But after much trial and error I had found a protocol that seemed to work (Gonal F 200 ui) but that is somehow it working anymore so feeling really frustrated! I can’t really up the dose either as that would bring my oestrogen levels up to high and stop me from having a transfer (which is the whole reason I am taking Gonal F, not for egg collection). So this leaves me with few options other than try again on a different cycle and hope for a different outcome. Not very encouraging.... to be honest I have started thinking about surrogacy. I have 7 blasts left but can’t transfer because of my lining so it seems like the only option....but it is so expensive and complicated...

@Tarsette that sounds tough. When do you get to talk to the consultant?

So update from the scan this morning. The massive follicle it seems is actually a cyst so that's good. The follicles are growing but very very slowly. So gotta wait for my bloods and the decide whether to up my dose (it may just be my body has gotten used to this dose) or cancel

@Bells3032 you seem to be in the same situation as me except you’re trying to grow follies whereas I’m trying to grow lining! Wish we could swap what we have too much of! I’d gladly give you some of my silly follies for a bit more lining!
