@Georgie87B Thank you. Yes I have an IVF dairy, which seems to be pretty full now! Yeh everyone seems super supportive and friendly ❤️

@TinyPaws Thank you. We’ve been trying now for about 3yrs, seems like an eternity! Due to COVID and paying private we’ve had to wait a little longer than we wanted but fingers crossed we are heading in the right direction 🙏🏼

@2mumlife Thank you for the welcome ☺️

@notyetamumbuttrying Weird they prescribed wrong drug for your protocol. They're not cheap either! From what I've read it sound like ideal is between 8-13mm but that anything over 7 is still good and that it has worked for people even with just 4-5mm. Not that I am now obsessing over lining thickness Blush

@C1aire85 Can't believe you're another 2am trigger!

@Girlwholifts It's amazing how much this all becomes second nature pretty quick.

so my cycle is officially cancelled. ah well. i thought i'd be more upset but honestly i am relieved to not have to isolate my entire two weeks of leave starting next week.

I am going in tomorrow to speak to the nurse. They're gonna start me on prynova (sp?) tablets on day 21 of my cycle in the hope of resetting my system. I don't know how long for. anyone else had any experience?

So my test today was negative... Second week of June I am in for a consultation.
Feeling pretty down and also sick (sore throat).

I am so sorry @TheDutchess3 ❤️ sending you a big hug. Sorry you're feeling poorly too xx

@Bells3032 I'm sorry it's cancelled but it sounds like they have a plan for you. I took progynova in a letrozole cycle for my lining as it was thin. But stopped on cd 24 xx

@Bells3032 sorry to hear your cycle has been cancelled but that's good to think of the positives from it now you can enjoy your time off. Hope your talk with the nurse tomorrow goes well xx

Evening all, sorry I’ve been so quiet.

Juggling teaching/exam marking & the 2ww has been tough, and our lovely girly cat became poorly last week & we sadly had to say goodbye to her on Monday. My cats have always been such a huge support throughout this journey so we are absolutely devastated and still trying to adjust.

I’ll try and catch up on all your posts this eve, as I’ve only just found the thread, but I hope you’re all okay & am sending positive thoughts as always. Xx

@C1aire85 yippee!! 😀
@2mumlife so weird right! Or maybe they thought I might use it depending on how down regging went, who knows eh 🤷🏾‍♀️
Do you know your lining yet?
@Bells3032 ah sorry to hear but sounds like it's for the best and glad you're ok with it. I'm not sure but it sounds like down regging so probably two weeks.
@TheDutchess3 so sorry 😞
Consultations not too far away tho
@Flissa7 ah so sorry to hear about your cat! 💞 when is OTD? X

Hi everyone!

I havent caught up properly as I'm feeling very sick from my EC today. It was at 2pm and I feel so nauseas. Has anyone and this ?

But.....we got 9 eggs ! Was very surprised and happy

Now to wait for the call to see how many fertilised

Starting pessary tonight, I've been scheduled for 10pm, 6am and 2 pm

Does anyone know how on the dot these need to be ? I'm usually in bed 9ish and up 7ish ?! Sounds silly
But don't fancy setting alarm for 6 nor staying up til 10 some nights, when I have to do 3 a day for 21 days ( and ready today if positive pregnancy test then for 12 weeks ?! Just wondering.

The nurse at the EC today said doesn't matter what time I take tonight's but need to follow
Those times that have been set from the nurse at the conic ? ( from a
Another nurse )

X

Thank you so much, both ♥️. I’m 7dp5dt today, so still a week to go until OTD on Jun 2nd.

@VenusStarr are you the same day, lovely? Keeping everything crossed for your blood test on Monday.

@notyetamumbuttrying, my follies were pretty slow growers but definitely shot up a fair bit in the final few days and I only had 9. I took full advantage of hot water bottles whilst I could and drank lots of milk. Xx

Brilliant news @strawberrysummer19 🥳 hope you can get some rest. I was a bit sick before I left the clinic but it eased when I was home and had some food.
I do my pessaries about 6.30am (I'm usually awake about 5 anyway!) then 2pm and 9pm - the clinic never specified times, just said 3 times a day. 🤞 For tomorrow's phonecall.

@Flissa7 I'm only 4dp5dt, my original test date was 2 June, but they booked me the beta for 9dp5dt instead.
How are you getting on? I was quite periody the first couple of days, just a bit bloated and crampy today, and tired! X

@strawberrysummer19 thanks darling. Still very emotional at the mo, but just taking each day as it comes.

I just saw your post about your EC too - 9 eggs is fantastic! Keeping everything crossed for you for positive news tomorrow 🤞🏻. I didn’t feel nauseous after mine, but was pretty uncomfortable for a couple of days, so make sure you’re looking after yourself & taking all the time you need. Xx

@VenusStarr thanks my love
I'm happy with that.
Ah ok I'll probably do same times then. I have an app where they update my meds so it has set times to be taken so maybe it's fine if it's 3 times a day. X

@VenusStarr Ahh, I didn’t realise the beta test meant the OTD had technically moved hun, but that makes sense (sorry, I’m useless!). I’ve felt okay thank you - also tired, a little crampy with twinges at times, but hard to know if they’re anything significant or not! Am just trying not to overthink it & hoping I get to next Wed & OTD day xx

@Flissa7 I'm a cat mum too, sorry to hear you had to say goodbye to kitty.

@Bells3032 I'm on Elleste solo which I got put on as there are shortages of progynova at the moment - it's the same deal, comes in 2mg tablets which I take 3 times a day. I'm using in FET cycle though for building up lining.

@TheDutchess3 sorry to hear it's a negative this time. Lots of self care and luck for the future

@notyetamumbuttrying No first lining check isn't until next Thursday so awhile to go yet!

@strawberrysunmer19 Normally it's fine to move the time as long as you have equal timing across the day - so you could move them all forward or back by 1hr but should try to keep them as equally spaced during the day as you can. I'm taking tablets 3 times a day at the moment, and doing 7am (or earlier if I'm up a bit sooner, basically as soon as I'm awake), 2:30pm and 10pm (later if I'm still up but basically right before bed). I'll do the progesterone suppositories same times when they start.

@Flissa7 how many of your 9 fertilised if you don't mind answering? Good luck for next weeks testing day. So is milk good for egg growth then?x
@strawberrysummer19 pleased you got 9 too. I hope you get a good fertilisation rate. Do they ever give estimates? Hope the nausea passes soon for you x
@2mumlife ah ok. ♥️

@notyetamumbuttrying Sorry lovely, I think I might have got confused when trying to read back through everyone’s posts as I was talking about how many follies I had.

With eggs though, I definitely found it was quality over quantity as my slow growing follies eventually led to 4 eggs being collected. Three of those were mature though & all three fertilised. One day 5 hatching blastocyst was popped back in a week ago & we have one in the freezer too.

I was quite worried about my follies not getting big enough, but another thread on here suggested warmth & lots of protein so I tried to keep that in mind in the lead up to EC. Xx

notyetamumbuttrying · 26/05/2021 22:51

@Flissa7 by follies you mean follicles right? I'm still unsure of the difference between eggs and follicles tbh 😆
I Always keep my feet warm as I have cold hands are feet anyway! Wear socks in bed etc. I need to add more protein into my lunch, already have it for dinner. X

Good morning lovely ladies

Hope you are all ok and feeling alright.

The horrible sickness feeling has passed but it's still lingering. I'm very sore and feel tender. So will keep an eye but from what I've read it's very individual and hopefully will pass by ET? Didn't think I'd feel so sore. Its definitely past the feeling off just feeling uncomfortable or a bad period pain.

I'm meant to be back to work tomorrow but at the moment I'm hobbling about! I'm off today though so will rest up.

1st pessary down last night and this morning
They were ok actually, thought so worse as I feel so sore but luckily it's not where iam sore so that was fine.

My clinic said they call before 12 with egg numbers so I'm nervous about that!

Wishing everyone a lovely day
Xx

Morning @strawberrysummer19 I felt sore for a couple of days after, but it definitely eased as time went on. By the time transfer came, I was back to normal. Thinking of you for your phone call this morning. It's so nerve wracking! I could barely speak 🤞 xx

@VenusStarr that's reassuring to hear. It feels so horrible! But just trying to think it will be all worth it! I'm so worried for this call but know I'll be even more worried waiting for the 5 day transfer!!!

How are you feeling? X
