Just a little update from me, unfortunately my BFP turned into a chemical x cruel twist on the IVF rollercoaster, but I have another frostie so hopefully can do another FET next month. Does anyone know how quickly after you stop meds your period might come? Xx

@StrongEagle This rollercoaster is cruel. My clinic requires at least 1 natural cycle between unsuccessful fresh tranfer and FET. My cycle after unsuccessful transfer last time was really delayed. My AF started whilst I was still on meds for my fresh transfer so not sure how long you'll have to wait for your first bleed. I think it can be longer as you need the hcg to leave your system too x

Clinic just called. Blood hcg came back at 21 so a very low positive. Its probably a chemical pregnancy but having bloods checked again later this week to compare. So, limbo now while we wait and see.

@Nervouslywaiting ah yes, we're around the same time! I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and never been pregnant before. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Everything crossed for the scan! Mines a week later on the 12th July. I've got nausea and cramps on and off so trying to focus in on that as a good thing even tho it's bloody uncomfortable! I've also got some digitals to do this week and next so that I can hopefully see the weeks go up!

@StrongEagle oh I'm so sorry, hope you're alright! I don't know about the meds/period question but I'm sure some of the other ladies do xx

I don't really have much symptoms yet apart from peeing more and fatigue - I could fall asleep sat up!! lol had the odd twinge of pain in my lower back but that's about.
Did you conceive naturally or via IVF?

I have those as well 😂 but my anxiety stops me from sleeping loads unfortunately!
Defo not naturally, it was ivf (with icsi). I guess you're the same?

Amazing how the body works but sometimes just needs a little help along the way!

No nausea or sickness just yet which am glad about as I really am a baby when it comes to being sick 🙈
I feel like I am already showing at 5 weeks! Am
hoping it's due to the progesterone that I'm using. The only aversion I have is to tea at the moment. I have noticed ive got a little bit of what looks like prickly heat rash on my lower tummy and my sides - not sure why that is so just keeping an eye on it to see if it changes.

@Nervouslywaiting good to hear! I'm not feeling too sick anymore but I am bloated! I also feel like I'm showing already but I guess it's the bloat. Not gone off tea thankfully (I love it), but I do have a couple of hormonal spots appear today. That could be to do with being in a swimming pool and jacuzzi yesterday though. (Wasn't in it for long as I know you shouldn't have your temperature rise). We booked a spa break before knowing when ivf would fall.

@becarefuloutthere - glad your feeling better - I have to say I was more bloated at about 3/4 weeks doesn't seem as bad now.
It's nice you've managed to get away and relax hopefully!!
I am counting down the days to my scan 🥰

@Nervouslywaiting how you getting on? Only a few days until scan now! Mines a week on Monday.

I know not long left for the scan - really nervous and excited at the same time! Will you be 8 weeks when your having your scan?

@Nervouslywaiting glad you're ok, yeah same as me really! I'll be 7+6 on my scan day so practically 8 weeks yeah. Best of luck for Tuesday, let us know how you get on ♥️

Hi all - hope everyone's well
@becarefuloutthere so had my scan today - bit worried - definitely saw a good heartbeat but apparently I'm measuring 6weeks +4 days when it should be 7w+4 days.
Have to wait for another scan in a week to see if baby's growth has got better 🥺

@Nervouslywaiting ah I'm glad you saw a heartbeat! Did they say if they thought it'd catch up or not? Hopefully it does!

@becarefuloutthere - it can do - but there's no guarantee - trying to keep positive but it's hard

Luckily I haven't had any nausea just taste goes all of a sudden at times.

@Nervouslywaiting I'm ok thanks! Aw a little spotting is ok, as long as it's not bright red and clots I think you're ok! Will you go for another scan? Yeah had my scan today and all good! Saw a fluttering heartbeat 💓 all measuring correctly etc.

@becarefuloutthere - hey that's really good new - congrats once again ❣️yes due for scan next week - keeping everything crossed that all is well and that baby has grown too. Have you had anymore changes to taste or cravings?

@Nervouslywaiting thank you! I'm glad you have another one booked in, hope you get peace of mind from it. Tastes are still ok, I really fancied gherkins on Friday so got a McDonald's 😂 I think I just fancied a McDonald's! Felt bad the next day so had loads of fruit! How about you?

Lol that's funny - I did that the other night ordered a burger in just for me and then thought I shouldn't have done that!!
No real cravings still - still not drinking tea though.

@Nervouslywaiting hope so 🙏🏾 haha no way! Dh was like can't believe you're ordering in a maccers 😂 height of laziness right! I'm still on the tea, love it! Really hope I don't go off it.
