Currently 3dp5dt! Going crazy here. Keep thinking what will be will be. But I just wish I could see what is going on in there.
Anyone else in the tww? When is your OTD?

It was my official test date this morning and it was positive! Did a first response and a clear blue both with strong lines. I’m so happy but think I’m still shocked especially considering my OHSS symptoms have been getting better not worse. I cannot believe my luck.

@vanillaspicecandle

Congrats on your BFP! Wonderful news.

Yes 6 weeks and one day and feeling very real indeed. All the symptoms you can think of plus I have a very noticeable bump already?! My husband is joking saying it must be twins. I said I wish, 2 for the price or one, literally 🤣 but one healthy baby would be all we need.

I have my 7 week USS at my private clinic next Thursday, 6 more sleeps! 🙏

Then I will be discharged to maternity at my local NHS hospital. One of my sister's very good friends is an obs and gynae consultant there so I'm hoping she can do my C section, she's the best.

Are you NHS or private sorry can't keep up too many people on here!

I think the NHS here scan between 10 and 12 weeks depending how busy they are. Very exciting/ anxious/ surreal experience for me after 3 years TTC, a BFN last November it felt like it was never going to happen for us.

So pleased to see another BFP on here!

Bella xx

I hope you guys dont mind but i wrote this on Wednesday when i got my BFN

For a few minutes I held you close
For a few minutes you were mine
For a few minutes i dared to dream of a pram, toys and all that you would mean
For a few minutes I could see your face and count your toes
For a few minutes I could hear you sing
I didnt have you for long, didnt know your name
But i love you all tbe same
Goodbye my child til we meet again.....

I hope none of you mind and i apologise if i cause pain by writing this, but i wanted and needed to share with someone

That’s lovely.

Sorry for your pain. Know how you feel, it’s as if we were so close but then we lost it :(

Hi all, I've not been on this thread before but it seems a good place to find other people going through the torture of the TWW!

I had an FET (unplanned, too many eggs at EC and OHSS risk) and my OTD is tomorrow. This is my second cycle, my first was last year and my 5AA fresh transfer then was a BFN.

Have also had a 5AA transferred this time but given the last result and my age (41) I'm really nervous about the test and the high likelihood of another negative outcome. I've not had any spotting and I know the cramps on/off are likely to have another cause, like progesterone.

I've had some low-level nausea in the last few days but convinced that's anxiety. No other symptoms at all, so am convinced I'm out. How is everyone preparing themselves for OTD?

Hi all, hope all are well. Currently on day 4 of our 2ww this is our 3rd round and seems to be the longest wait so far. Xx

Hello guys my previous nickname was leonardo. Just wondering the outcome of everyone's stories ? I hope you all got your baby or pregnancy !
My little boy is now 1, I was reading this thread feeling like it's a distant memory! X

willithappen · 09/01/2023 09:26

Oh wow it really does bring back memories!

My dd just turned 1 a week ago 🥰 she was a sticky little bean, delivered by emergency c section after a 3 day labour 😅

lucyinthe · 09/01/2023 09:30

Wow this is a blast from the past. I had a bfn this cycle but went on to have a successful transfer in October 2021. Currently feeding my 6month old baby girl her porridge 🥰 she was our 6th transfer after years of failure.

We're planning on going again this year to try for baby no.2, I think the key to success for us was going on steroids because I had raised nk cells. They didn't suggest testing for this until I did my own research and asked for tests after the 5th failed transfer.

It's quite triggering reading back on this thread even after having a baby. It's been a tough journey x

Gensola · 09/01/2023 09:35

I gave up after 5 failed transfers and a failed vasectomy reversal for DH. We’d spent £35,000 and were totally exhausted. I am convinced i needed steroids as all my embryos were perfect but my clinic didn’t offer that as an option and were very dismissive when I raised it. I might go abroad for one last try but not sure I can face it.

How lovely to hear of your success. Yes I also found it quite emotional reading through the messages. It's crazy how fast your life changes. Did you get many embryos from the first round? We would like a second but we didn't have any frozen x

Aww our little ones are really close in age then. I had a horrific labour, 1 week long induction and a post partum haemorrhage, vaginal delivery. Took a few months to get better and had a very colicky baby for about 4 months who didn't stop crying!! He's a delight now . Xx

Sorry to hear this. I really hope it works for you one day. Have you heard of arc in Greece? I've got a friend who is going to do her 4th round there x

lucyinthe · 09/01/2023 23:06

Hey @lottie198 yeh we have one left in the freezer but our successful transfer was 2 embryos so we want to go for another egg collection to try for another double transfer. I've also just turned 35 so want to get some eggs out now whilst they're still fresh(ish) just incase the next transfer doesn't work and we want to try again in the future. Luckily we had some inheritance left to us this year which will cover another egg collection and a few transfers should we need them.

Crazy how life has changed and it's going so fast now, we were stuck in limbo so depressed for years and it dragged so much. It feels strange to not have the dark cloud of doom hanging over us anymore!
