@2mumlife hello lovely. That’s so kind and thoughtful of you. I had a reassurance scan yesterday and saw a lovely little heart chugging away. So surreal. I’m super excited but terrified at the same time that things might go wrong again. I’m 9 weeks tomorrow, exhausted and feel sick as a dog! It’s worth all the icky symptoms if all turns out ok.

How are you doing?

@IslandStars how are you?

@Mrbay @IVFat43 how are you doing?

Mrbay · 08/05/2021 08:30

Hey @@richmondlady1981- that is fantastic news!
I'm getting ready for my 12 week scan later today, I wonder if it'll actually feel real then?
Sickness sucks!

@Mrbay Congratulations!

@RichmondLady1981 I'm so pleased for you! Everything crossed everything continues to go well. I'm good, we're getting ready for FET transfer end of the month. Everything ready to go, just waiting for period really now. Started using the Mindful IVF app to try keep me in a calmer state this time around!

IslandStars · 08/05/2021 16:52

@RichmondLady1981 Glad everything is still going well, can’t believe it’s 9 weeks already! I think I’d find the symptoms reassuring, as awful as they sound!

My plans haven’t gone so well. Had a lining scan this week for my FET, but 2 polyps were found, so it’s been cancelled Sad I’ve now got to arrange a hysteroscopy to remove them, but there’s a quite a wait at my clinic so I may have to book privately elsewhere. I’ve only got one embryo left and it’s euploid, so clinic won’t risk the transfer.

Hope I can report some better news soon & hope these next few weeks fly by for you!

RichmondLady1981 · 09/05/2021 07:47

@Mrbay so pleased you’re already at the 12 week point! Absolutely everything crossed for a smooth journey. Keep us posted..

@2mumlife how exciting for the transfer! You must be wishing the days away. Pls keep us posted! Sending you so much positivity and baby dust of course. Pls keep us posted. 💕

@IslandStars I’m so sorry to hear that the plans were cancelled. But on the positive side, it’s good they were spotted and good your embryo is still safe and sound ready for a transfer under the best conditions. It’s good they want to take good care of your embryo and not take any chances. Did you have the ERA in the end? Did your clinic recommend it? Yes please keep us posted and everything crossed for you 💕

Hope everyone else is well and ok x

2mumlife · 09/05/2021 08:40

@RichmondLady1981 Thank you :) Will keep you posted on things and sending you all the positivity that your little one keeps thriving!

IslandStars · 09/05/2021 09:45

@RichmondLady1981 Thank you, it is for the best really, just terrible bad timing to get these polyps now. Part of me does wonder if one of them was growing at the time of my last ET, but too small to detect on the scan. There are some stats on improved success after hysteroscopy, so I’ll just have to cling on to that.

Clinic didn’t recommend ERA, they said there wasn’t enough evidence for it (although they would do it if I pushed). They had planned an immune protocol for me with steroids, Clexane, Lubion etc, so will follow that next time. Had TSH checked and that was fine.

Keep us updated on your little one too, best of luck, it’s nice to hear you’re doing well Smile

IslandStars · 31/05/2021 16:13

Hello @RichmondLady1981 how are doing, have you had your 12 week scan?

I’m still waiting for my appointment, consultation due in July, hysteroscopy August. The clinic is so busy with patients this year and private hospitals are also in high demand because of long NHS delays for all treatments. I have a holiday booked for July, so hopefully that will take some of the frustration in waiting away.

chloedancer897 · 04/06/2021 00:00

Hi all, hope you don't mind me posting here.

I have my consent appointment for IVF next month. Any suggestions of questions I should ask/what to expect? Am I right to assume it moves pretty quickly from there? Any advise is appreciated. I've had zero input from the clinic, my only appointment was via zoom and was really quick. Thanks x

Georgia2799 · 05/06/2021 10:55

Quick question , I only had my transfer Thursday I’m not having any side affects of the medication or “signs”, do these tend to come along further into the tww if it has work closer to test date ? X

lucymills1234 · 07/06/2021 12:32

Hi @chloedancer897 because this is now an old thread you won't get many replies on here - if you look at more recent threads you'll get lots of help & info.

@Georgia2799 personally I'd say don't drive yourself mad looking for 'signs' - some people have none, some people have loads, and often it has no relation to whether you get a BFP or not. I know how awful it is waiting and how slow the time goes but you really won't have any idea of the result until you take the test.
