Thought I'd better start us a new thread as we are so close 999 messages!

@Honey1989 6 weeks today so we’re very close. It’s so scary when you see it isn’t it. The nurse was reassuring though. My scan isn’t for two weeks. Fingers crossed for both of us 🤞

@Mancbear88 I know what you mean honestly, I’ve had a positive test for 3 days now but I still refuse to trust it until I get to test day (I’m only 8dp5dt). I’m quite sad that I’ve now basically married pregnancy and miscarriage together in my mind, but it is what it is!

@Mancbear88 and @Honey1989 we're all very close. I'm 6 weeks today and have to wait another 2 weeks for my scan. Phoned the GP this morning though to get myself booked in with the hospital / midwife so it's feeling v real today! I also finally got my 3+ on clearblue digi this morning which I had been a bit anxious about. I know I may miscarry still but feeling more confident now I know it's not a chemical.

Hope the spotting stops for both of you, even if the clinic isn't bothered by things it's still worrying. I managed to fall down the stairs on OTD and was panicking I'd dislodged the embryo or something but they weren't at all concerned!

@Rachae - I responded really badly this round compared to previous rounds (no idea why!). They collected 7 eggs, only 3 fertilised, only 2 were still going by day 5. One was put back and one was frozen, the round was successful and I'm now 6 weeks pregnant. I know it sounds trite but it really does only take one and your numbers are good so far. It's such a worrying time though and it's natural to obsess over every detail.

@MrTumbleTumble I also got my 3+ on clear blue this morning! I'm 5+5 today. I last tested Saturday (5+1) and it said 2-3, so I'm pleased to have seen some progress.

@Rachae random but I got the same numbers as you! 17 eggs, 16 mature, 13 fertilised. Unfortunately it went downhill for us from then on and we only ended up with 2 blasts on day 5, both of which were transferred. I was gutted not to have any for the freezer but I'm now 5+5 pregnant so like others have said it only takes 1 (or 2 in my case!). We are unexplained infertility and the clinic said the big drop off is perhaps why we haven't got pregnant naturally in the past, so at least we now have a bit of a diagnosis - even if we can't do much about it!

Thanks @Mancbear88 I'm sure one off brown spotting isn't anything to worry about but I completely understand how you must be feeling. From my research (and first hand experience) it's red blood that's concerning. Although even then, my friend who was recently pregnant had that all through the pregnancy and was fine! Xx

I'm too scared to pee on another test, especially the digital ones as even at 5 + 4 I think, I only got 2 - 3 and it caused me so much worry, I'm just going to have to wait it out for another 8 days.

You girls give me soo much hope. I love reading through the posts. Really hope it works for me first time.
Can I just ask what meds everyone was on and was it a short or long protocol?
Mine is a short one they said 7-10 days of injections but need to go in Saturday to see if any progress.
Also did anyone have any side effects from the stims?

Thanks @ThePurpleFairy I might try the cream. Although It's not the pain so much it's more the psychological thought of pressing a needle into the skin. It's weird. I'm sure I'll get used to it. My life feels a bit surreal to be honest! Plus the fact not many people know so don't have many people to talk to. I told my mum and one close friend. Nobody else even knows we are trying for a baby 😆 even though we've been trying 18 months now x

Has anyone been having super vivid dreams? I’ve had one every night since embryo transfer. Some have been disturbing and others just odd!

@ThePurpleFairy It's probably all the hormones? I've heard a lot of people say that after transfer.
I've done two days of stims and really struggling to sleep now. I mean I can drop off I just keep waking up. Usually I'm a really good sleeper. Also woke up with a splitting headache and achy ovaries. Is this normal this early on?

I'm having wierd dreams! Sadly not sexy ones like PP mentioned a few weeks ago, just very vivid and it feels like they go on all night. I think it's caused by the progesterone but it's quite disconcerting.

Glad it’s not just me! I agree they’re very disconcerting!

@swirls3468 I don’t recall having anything like that but I will say I got off rather lightly when I did my stims as I had relatively little to no side effects

Did anyone have bleeding whilst on stims?
Obviously I started when my period came on day 2 and it seemed to reduce by 10 5 as it does to practically nothing. (That was yesterday) then in the evening about 2 hours after the jab I started bleeding heavy again? Surely that's not normal? It's like full flow period again? My periods usually only last 5 days max.

This was unexpected, had my 2nd scan today. Have 6 follicles good size and Monday will be my EC.

Any tips? I am soooo nervous 😬

Hey @swirls3468 hmm not sure, how long are you stimming for? I know the lining needs time to thicken up again for implantation but can take as less as 4 days on stims. I didn't have a period the entire cycle but I'm on the long protocol so last time I had one was about 6 weeks ago now.

Gosh I'm so anxious this morning, it's hard waiting for those phone calls isn't it? My day 3 update today and I'm really hoping a few made it x

@Rachae I'm doing a short protocol they said I could over respond my AMH is 72.8. They said 7-10 days of stims which I started with day 2 of period. So I've bleeding the whole time but it tapered off yesterday like it does and then started heavy again. I've called the nurses for advice and left a message but they aren't the best and getting back.
As long as I can continue I'm not even too fussed for a fresh transfer as long as I get some decent embryos. Just don't want the whole thing to be cancelled ! X

@Rachae wow that's so exciting. Yes I hate waiting for those calls. I just end up staring at the phone for ages like a crazy person. Good luck , fingers crossed for you xx

Started with 17 eggs
11 fertilised

Got 4 good quality embryos today and 6 average. One that didn't make it.

I've got one more good quality than last time, where I started with 20 eggs.

Still seems like a big drop from 17 eggs to 4 on day 3?

I think I can expect 1 or 2 on Sunday. (Hopefully) xx

^ the 4 good quality are between 10 and 12 cells today

@Rachae it's a bit of a drop if you only count the 4 good quality, but you said there are another 6 which are average, so still in the running? If so, then 17 eggs to 10 on day 3 is great!
