Thought I'd better start us a new thread as we are so close 999 messages!

@MrTumbleTumble excellent news enjoy your maccies too!

@2mumlife I also have the opposite issue with the progesterone on my FETs, although I didn’t on my fresh cycle. I’ve not taken anything as I’m too scared of it going the other way.

Embryologist rang this morning my embryo survived the thaw and I have my transfer at 12:30. Followed by my maccies chips of course!!

@Mancbear88 Congratulations, my ET is at 1 so I'm not far behind you, good luck and enjoy your chips after ill be doing exactly the same, iv just had pineapple and Brazil nuts definitely to early for me to be eating that but it has to be done i suppose.

We decided on a freeze all cycle due to mmc in summer.

What about you? Do you have frozen blasts and is this your second cycle? What’s your plan?

@Mancbear88 haha yes I've worried about it going the other way as well! I've considered mixing things up anf going for the front door instead, but then I've heard lots of people say they get thrush from that, and its meant to be a lot messier at least I'm entirely working from home and can't go anywhere with lockdown anyway, so bathroom is always close by!

We're still waiting for call, was told it could well be afternoon by the time I hear anything today. Was distracting myself by hoovering but then started worrying I wouldnt hear the call so trying to find other ways to distract myself.

@MrTumbleTumble so sorry I missed your comment, that is fantastic news how amazing, there is a few of us transferring today.

Congratulations on those who are PUPO also ❤️ I've been trying to keep up with everyone's news good and bad but had a pretty worrying week, I found a lump in my breast and thought they'd make me postpone IVF but luckily they didn't abs I've been checked out and all's ok but not the stress I needed coming up to transfer.

I'm keeping positive and looking forward to the ET tomorrow x

Glad I stopped hoovering! Call came in just after I posted.

We only had 4 eggs collected (came as a shock to everyone). 2 were immature. 1 had clear fertilisation, and the other on Saturday was told showed some signs of activation but didn't have all the signs of fertilisation, so was left as a 'wait and see'.

Both are still developing on Day 3. First egg is now 10 cells and looks good (they've rated is 3 out of 4, with 4 being the best at our clinic). Second query egg has started to divide and now has 8 cells, but isn't looking as good, rated 2 out of 4. They've queried whether the combination of poorer looking fertilisation and poorer development means it might not be viable, but they're going to continue to see how it goes.

I can't tell you how pleased I am we've kept hold of both over the weekend. Was told they'll call tomorrow to discuss ET on Wednesday, but I still really don't feel I can get my hopes up given the drop off rates between day 3 and 5. I'm really hoping their both as stubborn as I am and keep pushing on

@2mumlife ahhh I’m so pleased for you! It’s such a relief. Since I had my news I’m felt exhausted and I’ve just seen ive got a 1.5 window before my next lesson so I’m going to have a power nap. Put the hoover away and put your feet Up.

Great updates :) glad some many have had great day 5 updates :)

I'm taking it easy today, I've walked the pup - nice little 3miles in the woods and then I need to do some shopping.

@RichmondLady1981 I keep ricocheting between being glad I took this week off work, and wishing I'd just stayed at work for a distraction! I still don't know whats the best decision. Hopefully you got a bit of a nap and that class went well for you. Its a gorgeous day here, so I'm planning an afternoon sitting in the conservatory enjoying the sun.

@Blessing12 I keep doing the 'quality over quanitity' mantra. That and trying to take the wins where I can - I've never had a BFP in my whole life, so, as far as I know, these little guys might be my first ever day 3's, so I'm just feeling proud of them and celebrating that

Egg collection done and they only got 1 egg. I feel broken and have no hope that we will get to ET with just 1.

@Motherofkittens28 I’m so sorry to hear this and my heart goes out to you. I remember you posting that you had around 5 follicles that could be viable- did they give an explanation?

I know you’re probably feeling hopeless but things can still work out. There a lovely lady on the previous Dec/JAn thread (Kiza) who only had one egg retrieved and she is now 7.5 weeks pregnant and had her viability scan last week. Please don’t lose hope! She had a day three transfer. X

@Motherofkittens28 I can only imagine how you are feeling from that. I know you'll hear it only takes one (and it really does though) but I also know how hard it can be to hear and accept that. I have everything crossed for you!

I just had my day 5 update. Out of the 5 that made it to day 3, 4 of those are now in the feezer. I had over thought in my head that we were going to get none. This has been the most antagonising wait.
Time to rest up and get my body prepared for a frozen transfer!

I didn't see the dr after, apparently she will try and ring us later today to discuss. The nurse who gave me the number wasn't able to answer any questions. I just feel numb, to have gone through all that for just 1 egg, might as well have continued to try naturally!

@motherofkittens28 im so sorry to hear this but please stay hopeful, you only need one strong determined one.

Just had ET, so they put back a grade c which sound abit..... not a great embryo but uno its better than nothing and im grateful for having one to put back.
The other 3 unfortunately 2 are not looking great but they are giving the other one another day to develop and will call me tomorrow.
PUPO... Let's go.. iv been asked to test on the 12th but not sure ill be able to wait that long.

Ah 11 days to test? My friend who just went through this and got her BFP yesterday had to wait 15 days post transfer and I know for a fact I would never manage that! She managed to wait the whole lot out though!

ET done and maccies chips eaten. OTD 15th.

@Blessing12 congratulations- I’ve got friends who actually went to EC again to avoid putting a low quality one back in and didn’t get any eggs so tried with the low quality one as a last resort and it worked, whereas my last FET was a 5AA and didn’t stick.

@Motherofkittens28 I'm so sorry you've not had the outcome you wanted. I was in a similar situation on Friday having far less collected than we'd expected. The explanation we got was the eggs were still stuck to the follicule wall, so still immature. We still don't really know why that was, but it looks like the protocol didn't work well with my body. Hold faith in the 1 they did collect - the only 2 mature eggs they collected from me are still going at day 3, so don't lose all hope yet.

@Mancbear88 I've never heard this McD's thing until I joined this thread. I told my other half we'll need to stop for a MacDonalds now if we get to ET

Hi everyone

So many updates! So my news is I waited until official test day today (9dp5dt) and I got a BFP! Absolutely over the moon. And now the count down is for the viability scan in 3 weeks. The waits get longer and longer! I've had an early miscarriage before so I don't think I'll be able to fully relax until then. Also my clinic told me to take my 2 remaining progesterone pessaries and then just stop?! That doesn't seem right so I've been trying to get hold of them all afternoon to get another prescription. I thought everyone takes them for 12 weeks??
