How are you feeling? Any OHSS symptoms?

Glad you mentioned the timescale for transfer- always been too scared to ask the question in case I don’t get to that stage. Didn’t want to tempt fate so to speak. I still have the genetic testing hoops to jump through.

I feel a bit deflated today. I think I'm a bit less bloated so feel more 'normal' and it's making me feel like my embryo hasn't implanted. I know it's probably all in my head and it's too early to tell either way, but just got this negative feeling. I felt this way when I had my ectopic just like I knew something was wrong so maybe I'm just projecting bad memories, the waiting is hard though isn't it. Think it's worse over lockdown coz there's no real life as a distraction only work which is not the easiest thing to concentrate on!

Clinic will call me today if the other makes it to be frozen, if they don't call then it hasn't made it.

I have had zero OHSS symptoms since egg collection. I'm super impressed with how my clinic handled it all as everything they did and switching the trigger was all for my benefit and to stop me getting ill and it's worked beyond what we all expected. I felt tender when I walked fast for two days but other than that totally fine! I wouldn't have got the transfer anyway though as I had fluid in my lining

Bleed from egg collection came today! So 6 days after egg collection. Called clinic this morning to let them know and they have provisionally booked me in for egg transfer on 17th April (all depending on this cycle being 28 days).
So I call up again when I get my next period and start taking 3 oestrogen tablets per day from that day

Oh @Nix49816 you're bound to have good days and bad, but I'm really hopeful for you!

I've just had a call from the embryologist - it's day 4 and our last update was day 1. Of the 13 fertilised she told me '6 were slightly behind' and continued to focus on those 6 and what might or might not happen over the next day or two. At the end, I asked if that meant 7 were on track and she said yes.... why didn't she start with that?!? Focus on the positive? So overall, quite a downbeat conversation, but I think it's a good outcome. I'd be thrilled if we end up with 7 tomorrow (but I think that's unlikely). She said some were average quality, some low, but didn't give gradings.

ET booked for noon tomorrow.

@thetallgirl please don’t worry too much it’s only day 4, so much can go either way in day 5 - 6
I really thought out of my 11 fertilised we had only the one however things developed fast in the embryo / blastocyst world. Holding my fingers crossed for you xx

@2mumlife, @RichmondLady1981 and @Mrbay I've had the call, several hours earlier than expected and they said my one egg has fertilised perfectly! She said she moved me to the top of her list to give me the good news as soon as possible. I burst into tears on the phone, im so relieved!

@Nix49816 - I find my bloating goes up and down. The one thing that stays the same for me, is sore boobs.

@thetallgirl - that is still positive tho, remember they cannot tell how health embryos develop in the womb so outside of this, it is just a beauty contest. Good luck for tomorrow's ET.

@Motherofkittens28 - I am so bloody chuffed for you!!! Do you know when you'll have your transfer?

I'm only day 2p5dt and I am already counting the days, I thought that I'll be able to wait until OTD but I am not sure how likely that is.

@Mrbay thank you! If we get there then the day 5 transfer is scheduled for Saturday. They told me to start the cyclogest tomorrow morning and I'll get an update on Thursday as to how things are progressing. Fingers crossed it gets to day 5!

Just had ET and I'm counting down the minutes until I can go for a wee. They've not really mentioned quality of my embryo after defrost and I've asked so that's making me anxious.

How did everyone feel after egg collection , I’m in quite a bit of pain today would you say that’s normal ?
I’m still waiting for the phone call of the embryologist to see how many have fertilised if any, we got 16 eggs but my partner sperm needed to be unfrozen... I’m a bag of nerves today to hear if any of it survived

I had around 10 follicles at my last stims scan which were in or around the right size window so I am hoping that means the same number will be mature. I am sure there will be some immature eggs too.

My fertilisation rate was quite low last time but I got two blasts (5AA fresh transfer and 4BB frozen) so I am keeping fingers crossed.

Congrats on your 4 day 5 blasts, that's a great result!

@RichmondLady1981 that’s amazing, you’ve done so well! Good luck with with the testing, unfortunately we’re still waiting and now into our 3rd week.. the waiting is driving me insane 😩

@Georgia2799 thank you! I was quite sore yesterday, feeling a bit better today though.

Just to update you: the EC went well as they got 6 eggs, all mature. 4 fertilized. ET on Friday.

Very scared about Friday (assuming any make it that far, will be updated tomorrow)

Some great news for many this morning.

I'm not feeling anything atm 1dp5dt, iv been thinking all night about the transfer, when they did it they literally got me up within sec and I walked back to the room, i thought you had to lay down for abit.

Had the call from embryologist also and non of the other 3 made it, its so frustrating because when I spoke to the 3dp EC I had 1 in the running looking great which then ended up being graded C the other 3 were good quality to then not making it at all 😩😩.
Thank god I got 1 thats was a blastocyst..

I keep sneezing and I know it sounds ridiculous but I sed to my husband you don't think it will effect implantation lol he looked at me like id gone mad.

@Melissa1983 wait? What? You can't wee right after ET? But have to have a full bladder?! I go to the loo about 4738363739 times a day, so I'm not sure how I'm going to hold it tomorrow

@Georgia2799 since my EC Friday I've had some cramping everyday. A bit worse than normal period pains. They're worst at night when I've been lying in bed for a while. I thought they would have stopped by now.

@Seaswimmingdeservesasunnyday @Motherofkittens28 yes that’s exactly how I’m feeling, I’m finding it really painful to even go the toilet atm 😖
I’m getting so nervous now I haven’t heard anything yet !!

@Blessing12 I sneezed yesterday and said exactly the same to my husband he just looks at me like I’m insane!

@Georgia2799 I was so poorly after my EC with my fresh, there was several nights I woke up pretty much screaming in pain and my husband nearly phoned an ambulance a few times I was in so much pain, but it did get better. I think as weird as it sounds a lot of it was trapped wind pressing on swollen ovaries, so deflatine helped sometimes.

Has anyone got a Fitbit or wearable heart monitor, some stories online about being able to see on them before you get a BFP, another thing to be excessively monitoring!!

@Mancbear88 what do you mean? Does heart rate rise in early pregnancy enough to show on a Fitbit? I don't wear one but have a heart rate and blood oxygen monitor that just goes on my finger.

@thetallgirl yeah I had to wait for 15 minutes after the ET so I was desperate by the time I was allowed. My clinic let you go for half a wee if you really need a wee before transfer so it's not to uncomfortable but I was ok when I went in.

I'm really hoping I have the willpower to not test until OTD day 14th March 🤞🏽
