IVF Dec 2020-Jan 2021-anyone joining me?

Hi,
After 2 years TTC #1 we are now eventually on the IVF bus! Should have started in June but Covid put a stop to that and after lots of back/forth with our NHS clinic we've got our treatment planning appointment on Friday and will be on the long protocol so probably starting mid- end of December!
Would love to have some ladies join me!
I've been creeping on other IVF threads but haven't been able to fully take part.

3/3 made it to day 3 embryos with 7 cells each. She said good quality. Everything crossed for Monday!! Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I’m praying so much! X

@Kiza hello! Nice to hear from you. I did a freeze all cycle. I had three eggs collected and luckily all three made it to day 5 and 6 blasts.

They are all on ice and I’m awaiting the dreaded genetic testing results. Hoping to hear by Friday next week. That will then dictate our next steps. Hoping and praying that we get 1 normal to implant. We had a mmc back in summer so doing this to prevent another one. 🙏🏼

I'm doing great thanks, lovely symptoms which are reassuring but not debilitating and looking forward to our private scan next weekend

Hey @RichmondLady1981 thanks for checking in and great news re your embryos! I’m ok but really struggling with the fatigue and nausea big time. It’s making me really grumpy and then I feel guilty for not being excited all the time.

Hey! All good here! How's everyone?

Hi everyone. I wanted to come on here to give those searching for hope, well, some hope. After 5 unexplained miscarriages including healthy twin boys (genetically tested), we went on to have IVF to control my immune system with steroids, obtain best quality sperm through direct retrieval, and to test our embryos before transfer. Despite 27 eggs retrieved only 1 remaining embryo of 5 tested was ok. I am pleased to say that that 1 embryo is now a beautiful DD laying beside me asleep at nearly 5 months old. I wanted fo send this post as I remember when I was frantically looking for positive outcomes on here, many people didn’t pop on the end result. I hope this gives anyone going through the horrid infertility trials and tribulations the hope they need. Don’t give up! Sending lots of love and positive vibes. Xx

@Lindyloolou huge congratulations! I was also on this thread. Mmc and failed IVF when our little natural miracle happened during the wait between cycles! She’s 8 weeks today.

Baby is doing really well. I want another - though feel greedy, like I should be grateful after everything - funny what infertility does to your though process. I’m 37 now so need to get cracking though OH is a bit reluctant in fear of it not working (we only got one embryo last time after testing 4) - though this time we would go straight for IVF. So, some convincing work to be done on that front!

@Lindyloolou go for it! I’m 40 and we still had our natural miracle at a time (between cycles) where we chose to drink wine, eat junk food and have sex for fun!! It can happen!
