IVF Dec 2020-Jan 2021-anyone joining me?

Hi,
After 2 years TTC #1 we are now eventually on the IVF bus! Should have started in June but Covid put a stop to that and after lots of back/forth with our NHS clinic we've got our treatment planning appointment on Friday and will be on the long protocol so probably starting mid- end of December!
Would love to have some ladies join me!
I've been creeping on other IVF threads but haven't been able to fully take part.

@MF1981 good luck, I’ll be thinking of you. I’m in awe you made it this far without testing, my resolve is cracking big time and I’m only 5dp5dt!!

@MF1981 you've done amazing that you haven't tested early- I caved 2 days early! Try to distract yourself tonight with a good book/film or try some calming sleep sounds/meditation to aid your sleep.
Sending you lots of sticky baby vibes for tomorrow and hope your cat gets better soon too

@MF1981 wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow! You have serious willpower not to have tested early! Hope the cat gets better, I have a cat that's always at the vets so I sympathise!

@MF1981 congrats! Such an amazing feeling to see a BFP on a stick!
I've just booked my midwife appointment and booking bloods- starting to feel real and exciting!

@MF1981 today is exactly 5 weeks from EC (which I suppose is fertilisation). They wanted to wait until I was 7+2 for the early scan 🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel like our nhs service has been them making it up as they go along 😄 which has worked out well for me but I'd be furious if it was a different outcome.

Have been off for a bit!
Congratulations to those BFP!! I'm so excited to see it's gone so well for you 🥰
Also for the BFN... a big hug and stay strong! Never give up!! 💪🏻

Will come back next month when we start over again (if it all works out as it should).
Anyone else starting in March??

Hi @Sungirl11 I should be trying my fet again in March. Had a nightmare with my lining which didn't respond this time so new approach is down regulation and higher estrogen and patches too. Fingers crossed I get there this time! When are you going to be starting ? I'm on day 1 if my new cycle have to wait until day 21 to start injections

BFN for me at 8dp5dt today - wish I hadn’t tested now! It wasn’t a FRER just an ordinary test but I’ve seen lots of positives on insta at this stage so suspect I am out.
Will wait and test again on OTD (Monday). Sad

@elsaesmeralda I do the short one so on day 1 of my period which os due around the 3-4 March i call the clinic and then start scan and injections on day 2.
I was wondering... with lockdown has anyone has any problems? Or do you get a letter from clinic or something? Xx

Ladies who have ET already, what did you do with your pessaries the morning of? I'm doing 200mg utrogestan three times daily.

Clinic said take as normal (which I've been doing vaginally), but online I've read about using back door rather than front door for that one.

Sounds stupid but it's really stressing me out!

@onlyhereforthefood clinic told me to back door the day of ET which I did. My understanding is most clinics advise it for that day. Good luck with ET day!

@onlyhereforthefood my clinic asked me to do the pessary vaginally before 7am on day of transfer - I was booked in for 11.30

@Gensola so sorry to hear about your BFN. Still could be early. Wait till Monday- who knows.

@MF1981 so so excited for you! Pls remind me- was it a fresh transfer? One embroyo? Did you have any symptoms? Congratulations x

Thanks @RichmondLady1981 it was a frozen transfer of 2 grade A embryos. I had very little in the way of symptoms - slight cramping and a hint of pink around day 6 and 7 but not a lot else. I’m starting to get a little nausea now, more light cramping and am really tired.
