It's bad news from here sadly :(

No heartbeat so it's been declared a non viable pregnancy. I have been told to stop all medication and expect a bleed to start at some point. I've got a scan at EPU on 16th November which I've been told (by the fertility clinic) to still attend, I guess to either check a miscarriage has happened or to get some help with it if it doesn't.

I thought I would be ok, and that "what will be will be", but I'm gutted. This was our only frosty so really our last attempt.

I'm so sorry to hear that @AliciaWhiskers life's just so not fair sometimes :( I'm crap at saying the right thing but I'm really sorry you are going through this :( take some time for yourself and your partner, you'll get through this ❤ x

@AliciaWhiskers I'm so sorry. I had been thinking of you today and had everything crossed What a cruel cruel thing for you to experience. Sadly there are no words of comfort I can offer. Please take as much time as you can to yourself. Xx

Thanks all. Have stopped all meds so waiting for the huge hormone crash and bleeding to start. Fingers crossed it happens soon and I don't have to wait too long, I think that would be worse.

I’m so sorry @AliciaWhiskers I’m devastated for you. This is such horribly sad news. I’m also really sorry my response is delayed - I’m not getting the notifications so I’m massively behind. How are you doing? I’m truly truly gutted for you and like everyone has said there’s really no words of comfort at all. It’s just heartbreaking. I hope you’re holding up okay there.

Thanks for all your kind words and support. The miscarriage happened on Saturday, so thankfully has not been too dragged out. I have had a couple of days off work but will be life back to normal tomorrow with work and a self isolating 9 year old who is off school for 10 days so will have to put on a brave face and carry on.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet recently, if I'm honest it's been a hard few weeks, very negative thoughts that DH & I will be the childless ones.

@aliciawhiskers - I really hope you and DH are as ok as you can be and you have recovered well.

We've planned our last funded cycle, short protocol to start and of jan so here's to hoping 🤞

@Mrbay I'm so sorry you have had a crappy few weeks. With your next funded not until January make sure you do all the things you enjoy now...mulled wine? Lots of nice dog walks?
What does the short protocol entail? Is it less time on the buserelin? End of January will be here before you know it!!

How is everyone else doing? Any updates?

I think we are over the sleep regression. But baby's sleep is not what it was...he doesn't seem to go more than 5-6hour blocks anymore. We are going to start weaning in the next few weeks too.

I’m so sorry I haven’t responded for so long to so many. It’s been an incredibly difficult time here and we had tragic news, over five weeks ago my beautiful kind mum died. I wish it wasn’t so public me writing this on here as it’s such a personal thing to share - we’ve all shared so much, so so much. Please can we not talk publicly about it on the board. I’m sending you all lots of love and for those who need it lots of luck too xx

Ladies, can we please talk feeding? Is anyone still breastfeeding post teeth? I appear to have a teething baby who suddenly wants to feed 4 times a night again (what?!) and my nipples are torn to shreds. It's a lot to share, I know, but you have spoken about my back passage so I feel it's ok. I am waking up every morning like a zombie with bits hanging off me.

Oh and a Merry Christmas to all.

I do have news, not the see my scan news but looks like my last surgery was successful, periods are heavenly! 2/3days of normal period and then a little spotting - bliss! Though just as I was due to start my 3rd cycle, they became irregular so I missed the Jan slot to start.
I've just completed my final EC, I got 8 eggs!! 8 bloody eggs! As you can tell, I am pretty excited and cried when I got told! 6 were mature and all have fertilised so ET on Sunday. Feeling really positive about this cycle.

@Mrbay that's fantastic...8 eggs and 6 fertilised! Brilliant news! The odds are definitely in your favour. Really hope all goes okay on Sunday. And it sounds like there will be some for the freezer too. From what I remember of your previous cycles you didn't get many but the quality was always quite good so things look like they will be great for you. Have you got much planned for the 2ww? (Not that there is much to do these days!)

Maternity leave is good. I am enjoying spending time with my little guy. I am getting fed up of LD and the same old walks etc so really looking forward to the light at the end of the tunnel! Hope the rest of you are doing okay. I can't believe many of you have babies which are turning 1!!! Xx

I literally haven't done much exciting, we bought our house 10 mins from my parents which is nice, dh is away again atm and J has a million teeth which means he is bloody grumpy ALOT and I spend a stupid amount of time cooking and dishes. YAY

@Mrbay oh yes of course, you've had the update of how many have fertilised! Silly me. I was thinking that update was tomorrow. I think you should get some to the freezer there! And not long now until transfer!

@Zest11 and @Welshpugmomma not much to report here! We're all doing well. I went back to work in January, so that was a full maternity leave of lockdown! Back into the swing of working now and feels like I never had any time off. G is one in a couple of weeks! It seems to have gone so fast. Obviously we can't have a party, but I've still planned a little afternoon tea party as my parents are our bubble so we'll see them and just have it the five of us. Oh, and I also started a little Etsy shop during my maternity leave too which keeps me busy (but not completely overwhelmed).

I'm feeling positive now after this week's announcement and that Spring/Summer is coming and we might get out of this! And, most of all, we might get a holiday. I really need to sort a bikini diet...

Yeah previous cycles were low numbers 3eggs/3blasto and 2 eggs/1 blasto suitable for transfer.

I was on short protocol and a very low does of stimms with a new drug to the market - Ovaleap. It's a pen with replaceable cartridges, so much less plastic waste.
I'm trying to not get carried away but I just feel so excited for this round.

Glad you're enjoying mat leave as much as you can @zest11. I cannot wait for lockdown to be over, I really want a meal in pub and not in take away containers!

@welshpugmomma - that's exciting, nice to be so close to your parents, I bet they love having their grandson just around the corner.
I do love cooking but it does feel like a right chore at the moment! Has dh gone anywhere nice?

Happy birthday to G! I've been watching my friend's little one grow up and they develop too quickly!!

I know, I may actually renew my passport!! However, a friend has a holiday let in Wales so may go there for a week with the dog.

Ref lockdown, I hate to be that person, but it hasn't been that bad. I've gotten to know my neighbours and we have had regular wine/coffee catch ups at the end of our drives so I've had girly face to face chats which is nice.
I've got my horse and my pup, sadly lost our old girl at the start of the year, she was nearly 16 so she had a really lovely life. Our lab is really missing her so we may have a litter from her but then that raises lots of moral questions so currently in limbo.

But lovely to hear from you all, I hope the others see my tags and we have a full house 😊

@Ginandtonic31 So nice to hear from you and pleased you are still going to celebrate G's birthday! Tell me more about the Etsy shop...do you have a link? You can message me if you don't want the whole world to see it. And how are you finding being back at work? Are you ft or pt? I still have a bit of time off but when I think about returning it really upsets me! I'm hoping the thought will be worse than going.
