Abc IVF

Has anyone recently had IVF with abc IVF? They have approved me for a frozen cycle only at the moment.
Do you know if they are only doing frozen cycles in light of the pandemic.
We have mainly chosen them due to low cost. I appreciate that the low cost means cut backs in certain areas, but I'm often waiting for 1-1.5 hours on the phone to speak to a central phone line for all branches.
It's tricky as I know that IVF is really down to the individuals body response, but I still feel that decisions made by doctors about medication doses etc are important.
Keen to hear about others experiences.

Hi @Elsbels85 I have another symptom to compare with you. Have you felt nauseas at all since your transfer? This morning (5 days after transfer) I have woken up feeling very sick. I wondered if this is a normal symptom at this stage? I hope you’re doing well with the wait x

Hi @Poppies2020 my blood test is Thursday was meant to be Wednesday but I'm working sadly but I'm gonna start testing monday, I think.
Yeh I've felt nausea a few times this week.
I woke up this morning day 7 with period cramps googled it apparently it's common x

@Elsbels85 thanks for the reassurance 😊 It’s nice to speak to someone at more or less the same stage. I did read that the later the better for the test to give it more time to show positive, so I will have everything crossed for you Thursday x

@Poppies2020 it is nice to have someone going through the same thing to talk to when you read the two week wait is the worst I never thought it would be this bad lol
I do hope we both get a positive test from are day 3 little eggs fingers crossed xx

@Elsbels85 I also think it’s so hard as we overthink every little thing. I am googling every food and drink item before I have it, to make sure it’s safe and worrying every time I have to bed over etc! 😂 My cramps have eased off for now, but the sickness has arrived! Fingers crossed for both of us. Let me know how you are getting on next week x

@Poppies2020 it's hard because most of the symptoms are related to the capsules we having to take will definitely let you know hun will test Monday morning will keep you updated x

@Poppies2020 hi hun I thought I'd let you know I couldn't wait till tomorrow to test, so I tested this morning and I got a bfp its only faint but it's there

If you really squint your eyes you can see it lol will test again tomorrow and hopefully it gets darker

@Poppies2020 yeh will be testing every morning till blood test hope it gets darker.

And thanks hun honestly thought as it was a day 3 embryo I had no chance but I'm feeling more positive now although it isn't 100 percent I feel like I am pregnant x

@Elsbels85 let me know how you get on with the tests, I have everything crossed it just gets stronger. Stay positive, as they always say in the clinic, it just takes that one egg! I want to do a test now! But think it’s too early, as I’m not having my blood test until Fri. Hopefully I last until the middle of the week and then will test then! x

@Poppies2020 will definitely keep you up dated on the tests.
I struggled and gave in at 7days but I've read on other chats they have tested from day 5 and got a positive.
Have you had any more pregnancy symptoms x

@Elsbels85 The cramps have eased off, but I have been feeling a bit nauseous and my lower back is aching today. My chest is also really sore and I seem to be running to the toilet every time I drink some water! But it’s so hard to know if it’s the treatment or something more positive. Maybe I will do a test on Tues. The wait is hard, but I’m getting more nervous as time goes on, as I so want a positive result. It’s so hard isn’t it! What symptoms do you have? x

Your symptoms Sound really positive though so fingers crossed.
I've got sore breasts backache, on and off feeling sick , hot flushes and very weird dreams what are very odd been happening since day 3 x

Day 9 on a cheap one from ebay the line is getting darker

@Elsbels85 yes that definitely looks darker. Yay! Have a good first day back at work, I think the time will fly by now you have something else to occupy you, it will be Thursday before you know it! Let me know how it goes tomorrow x

@Elsbels85 good luck with the test this morning, hopefully it’s even darker! I was up at 5am with really bad nausea. I had to have some tea and biscuits to try and stop the sickness. Hopefully this is a good sign! x

@Poppies2020 ITS DEFINITELY a bfp :) nausea was a big symptom for me certain smells would trigger it x

@Elsbels85 How are you feeling, ready for tomorrow? I have everything crossed for you! I did 2 tests this morning..............I didn’t test with the first wee of the day, as I had gone about 20 times before I managed to buy the test first thing. When I did it they both had only one line after the 3 mins. I admit I had a little cry and then put them in the bin. 5 mins later I decided to do one final check to make sure they were definitely negative, and both of them had the faintest second line!! It looked exactly like your first test. I’m crossing everything that tomorrow will be a little darker and it wasn’t just a mistake: see if you can see the line! x
