Hi peeps :)

I’ll hyperlink this to our old thread so we can continue bitching about crystal82 😂

I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

@BellaD85 sorry to hear about the spotting -it could be implantation. Bleeding is common in early preg and not always a bad thing. Hope you are ok.

@wishmeluck16 congrats -great news!

To all of those in the tww -thinking of you -it’s a truly tricky time. Try to keep busy busy-I went out loads!!

Unfortunately I got confirmation from the clinic to discontinue ivf meds today as my hcg-though rising is too slow. They are monitoring me to check its not ectopic and that it naturally goes. Fingers crossed it will leave my system soon so I can move on. Feeling better today and less sad which is good. Trying to stay focus for the next round. Any of you that have miscarried naturally in previous cycles -how long did it take??

Thanks for all your support everyone -you are all lovely and really appreciate!

Zest11 · 24/06/2019 22:17

@mouse1234567

I am so sorry you have had that unwanted confirmation. I am glad you are feeling a little better although it is still so rubbish. I had a "2-3 weeks pregnant" in September, the only pregnancy I have had. It started off brown spotting for a few days then about a week or so long period and then continued spotting for a few weeks. My heart goes out to you. You will pick up from this and although unlikely to feelmthis now, in time it may give you some hope that things can happen. Best of luck mouse xxx

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 22:48

@mouse1234567 I'm so sorry to hear your news. I've miscarried 4 times (not IVF though). The first 3 I only realised when I was bleeding, they were all around 5 weeks. The last time (end of March) I found out at my first scan (missed miscarriage) and it didn't come away naturally so I chose a d&c because I wanted it to be over so that I could move on and it's pretty disruptive and upsetting to not know when it's going to happen (I was worried about going back to work when I might just miscarry in the middle of a meeting. Which has happened to me before). Medical management is also an option where they will give you drugs and then you can miscarry at home. I hope this doesn't sound too brutal, of course it is utterly brutal, I just want you to have the facts plainly set out.
I'm so sorry that you're having to go through this, I know a bit of how you might be feeling and I can tell you that it does get better.
Sending my love darling Mouse

Cauliflower82 · 25/06/2019 07:07

@KittyKatSmile you’ve really been through it, bless you. I can’t even imagine the sadness of miscarrying.

@mouse1234567 I’m so so sorry to hear this. What a terrible time you are going through. I’m thinking of you and sending lots and lots of love. Take extra good care of yourself.

@Zest11 thank you for reassuring me about the trigger :), hopefully I’ll be doing mine tonight, and correctly too. It’s funny, it could be because I’ve been on buserelin for over six weeks now but that one doesn’t hurt me at all, but menobitch stings 😖 it hurts me so badly. Last night was horrendous. I’m not sure what happened but that bitch came right for me.

Can we opt for a freeze all if an nhs patient? Assuming I’m lucky enough to get to day 5, I just really feel like I need a break from all this. I want to go a bit mental!!!!
I’m hoping this feeling will pass but I’m just so bloody done right now. For the last 6 weeks, I’ve not been out past 7 or I go out about 8 and miss the first part of a social gathering like a meal. I’ve not been away for the day anywhere and I just want to be a bit bloody selfish after this.

So sorry @mouse123456 to hear of your news, you sound like your are trying to be strong, I've never had a positive / miscarriage so have no idea how your feeling :( but know we're hear to listen x

Girls not great news on my front either this morning :( so I had fifteen collected yesterday of which 10 were mature. Today they rang to say only one has been fertilised , so I have my transfer booked tomorrow ... I'm absolutely gutted as statistically I was expecting 6-8 I don't know what's happened I will try and ask for some reason tomorrow. I know it only takes one but arghhh so frustrating after so much effort :(

wishmeluck16 · 25/06/2019 10:49

hi everyone, so sorry to hear the news from a few of you this morning. It is the biggest fear we all have and so tough to get past. Sometimes i dont know what to think about the pregnancy that will not send me crazy with fear of losing it.

everyone, let us try and stay strong! xxx

AliciaWhiskers · 25/06/2019 10:53

@mouse1234567 really sorry to hear your news. I hope you are doing ok (as well as can be expected given the situation) and that it's not an ectopic.

@BellaD85 how are you doing today lovely? Did you hear back from the clinic?

@Welshpugmomma everything crossed for transfer tomorrow. Yes, it only takes one, but I can completely understand the disappointment that it's not gone to plan. Hope you are able to stay positive.

Second day of fyremadel here, scan tomorrow. Got a very twingy left ovary today so hoping that means something is happening!

KittyKatSmile · 25/06/2019 10:56

@Welshpugmomma I'm so sorry to hear your news from this morning. You need to be positive about this transfer (although I once shouted at my mum when she dared to give me a PMA chat). Who here is pregnant from a 2 day transfer when there was only one embryo? @Weenumpty I think maybe? If it doesn't work, then I've got some tips for you but we're not going to think like that at this stage. Come on little bean, stick. Cutie wants some friends!

Sending you all the love x

Cauliflower82 · 25/06/2019 12:22

@Welshpugmomma hopefully this one is a really good one and will stick and bring you a lifetime of happiness. I totally get why you’re bummed out here. Fingers crossed this works but I totally see why you’re disappointed.

mouse1234567 · 25/06/2019 12:23

@Welshpugmomma I’m sorry -that must be so disappointing for you. I really have my fingers crossed for your one. Do you have any male factor issues?

Welshpugmomma · 25/06/2019 12:57

Thanks for your nice messages and support, managed to speak to DH this morning he's obviously sad aswell and blaming the frozen sperm (mfi). It makes no difference what is to blame really, and he encouraged me to stay positive for the one we have now.

@Cauliflower82 thats exciting good luck for you now :)

@KittyKatSmile I'm sure there are some positive stories out there I know it's just easy to get disheartened in this process! I'm intrigued abot your tips haha but hey pma - won't need them, and cutie can have a pal !

Anything I need to know for transfer tomorrow ?

KittyKatSmile · 25/06/2019 13:01

@Welshpugmomma that's the spirit girlie. Have you been having acupuncture? It is recommended before transfer but maybe not the best time to start if you haven't! And make sure you have a full ish bladder. My clinic was actually able to give me helpful and practical advice on this which was to drink 2 glasses of water an hour before transfer. Sending good vibes x

BellaD85 · 25/06/2019 13:36

Afternoon Ladies!! First of all I have to say you all crack me the hell up and I love it :-) You are such a good bunch and give me the smiles I need every day!!!!!!

@Welshpugmomma Blooming bodies, I feel like a giant breathing spanner at the moment ha ha!! Keep as positive as you can with your little embryo!! I hope you're ok and take some time for you to process everything. Be kind to yourself x

@wishmeluck16 Wow thanks for the reassurance! You are an inspiration!!!!

@Becsharry Thank you. I've taken 2 days off to rest. My boss wasn't too happy but f*ck it!! She's basically a living version of Jabba the Hut and doesn't have a single maternal or caring bone in that entire enormous body!! Sorry inner bitch coming out!

@Ginandtonic31Thanks :-) Did the person you know get pregnant in the end? I went on the American sites last night and OMG! Aside from the "I had an itch on my right arm today does those mean i'm going to have a girl" they are also so mean to each other!!

@Cauliflower82 How are you feeling today lovely?

@glitterbugsparkles Thank you so much for the reassurance on this thread and on the other one. You are a gem xx

@Zest11 Thank you. How did the Trigger Injection go? What are your plans for your day of freedom today???

@CornishMaid1 Thank you. How are you getting on? Well the clinic in the end were very casual and I ended up getting a call with a message from the nurse that had spoken to the nurse I spoke to in the morning that had spoken to the Dr and had nothing to add! So DH took to google all day bless him and researched everything!! He has come to the conclusion it's implantation bleeding!?

@KittyKatSmile Thank you...could literally be anything couldn't it! Hard not to let my mind wander :-/

@AliciaWhiskers Thanks lovely! Feeling better today on the cramps, still spotting but it's very light. Fingers crossed for your ovaries...love the twitch that's a good sign :-) x

@mouse1234567 Oh lovely lady I'm so, so sorry to hear your knews. I just shed some tears for you as it must be heart breaking. I think you are being very brave. Take care of yourself and remember to allow yourself to process when you can. This is sad but it's not the end, stay strong xx

BellaD85 · 25/06/2019 13:42

@Welshpugmomma just seen your other message. Like @KittyKatSmile says just make sure you have a full bladder. My clinic said I had to drink 1LT of water 30 min's before my app so I just down a big bottle in the car on the way. The good thing to know is that you can go to the toilet straight after transfer and no the embryo won't fall out....I asked that about 5 times just to be sure before I stood up!! It's just like a smear test and will be over in 10 mins :-) absolutely nothing to worry about. Make sure you go and do something that makes you happy afterwards :-) Good luck x

BellaD85 · 25/06/2019 14:01

😂😂😂😂😂

Becsharry · 25/06/2019 14:28

@BellaD85 😂😂that’s made my day!! How are you feeling today? X

AliciaWhiskers · 25/06/2019 14:40

@BellaD85 love the comment about "no the embryo won't fall out", and the lavender pic :)

I need some of that just now.

I'm in the middle of buying a house (currently renting), so my house is full of boxes. My landlord has just been in contact asking to send an estate agent over tomorrow to value the property. Aarrgghhh! I don't need this stress! I've told him as politely as possible no he bloody well can't!

Zest11 · 25/06/2019 16:53

@Welshpugmomma I completely understand your frustration however as other have said @Weenumpty had a 2dt and nothing else and she's now pregnant. Hope your one is a winner! Perhaps if the issue is MFI and the sperm was able to fertilise the egg, that's all that was needed and the rest of the journey should be plain sailing! :)

@BellaD85 nice picture hahahaha! How are you and things today? Trigger was okay. Think I jabbed it in a bit too hard in excitement as it's been a bit sore today!! Not had that before with the pens. Day's just been a busy one at work. As soon as I finished everything at work and was ready to go, it sort of dawned on me that we're nearly here!

@Cauliflower82 hooray for being on for Thursday! Bet you are so relieved! What time is your trigger tonight? Re. Your thoughts on freeze all - I am not sure. However I would honestly do exactly what your clinic recommend. They seem to be very specific and tailoring everything to you. If they recommend a freeze all then obviously go ahead but if not then fight through "I need a break" the finish line is in sight! Grin Also, for selfish reasons I need my almost twin!

Out of curiosity, how long does ovulation take? Like the bit where the egg comes out of the follicle (not the swimming around the fallopian tube bit, I know that goes on for a few hours or day)...does anyone know? Obviously the clinic know what they're doing but how long is the window from when the eggs are mature to being able to be collected? I always assumed they just zoomed out of the follicle within a few seconds...

Weenumpty · 25/06/2019 16:58

@mouse1234567 I'm so sorry to read your update. You sound amazingly strong and I'm so impressed that you're managing to think to the future. Sending love xxx

@Welshpugmomma, @KittyKatSmile is right, I was in the same boat as you so I totally understand how you are feeling right now. When I knew that only 1 fertilised and I was having a 2day transfer I really lost all hope and didn't expect a thing, but here I am 5weeks 4days pregnant. It still feels utterly unreal saying that. I do wonder if perhaps not thinking we stood a chance helped me in some weird way?! I drank lots of pineapple juice and pomegranate juice after transfer, and for the next week- obviously have no idea if this helped at all! I found the tww very hard thinking there was no hope but please please keep in mind that it can happen and so far so good for me. My early scan is a week on Friday xxx

Ginandtonic31 · 25/06/2019 17:19

@BellaD85 yes she had her baby in February. She had a clotting disorder that caused some clots around the baby.

@Welshpugmomma where is your clinic? I'm in for transfer tomorrow but seriously freaking out. I don't know if I can do it! I'm so scared.

KittyKatSmile · 25/06/2019 17:37

@Ginandtonic31 you've got this. Where are you based? Want me to come and stand outside with a positive mental attitude placard? (I've mentally checked out of work so I'm happy to travel!) You are a brilliant and strong lady and you'll get through this. Remember: this too shall pass xx

Zest11 · 25/06/2019 17:46

@Ginandtonic31 don't accept @KittyKatSmile 's invite. She's not who she says she is. She's and old man desperate to get his end away!
In all seriousness, you are going to be absolutely fine! Whatever's meant to be will be! :)

KittyKatSmile · 25/06/2019 19:05

Well yes, @Zest11 is right, but I'm a really lovely and friendly old man. My name is Keith.
