Hi peeps :)

I’ll hyperlink this to our old thread so we can continue bitching about crystal82 😂

I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

@BellaD85 Congratulations on the transfer. My OTD is 5th July, so two days later than you even though we were same day transfers. I think it will be a long two weeks for us

DawnK77 · 23/06/2019 12:08

Hi Cauliflower not invasive at all, ask away, (I am meant to be packing for a house move anything to distract is welcome haha!)
It looks like when I start a period after this one I start something for 14 days, not sure if is injection or tablet yet, then go for scans till lining is ready then ET. My worry is the periods when will they arrive lol! I'm hoping we don't have to look at natural ones as that means I'll be in a thread in about six months time! But I'll ask clinic when I'm back in on the 5th xx

Ginandtonic31 · 23/06/2019 12:29

@CornishMaid1 and @BellaD85 my transfer is Wednesday but OTD 5th July too with a good test at the hospital.

@KittyKatSmile I'm not sure how I feel today. Just a bit down I think.

Mrbay · 23/06/2019 13:25

Lovely to catch up on everyone's news and hey to the new joiner.
Caught up with our family who had failed IVF attempts and it was really positive! Plus they are friends with the lady who does the Big Fat Negative podcast - small world!!
They gave some really good advice and opinions on the whole process.
I'm sorry to say but I won't be joining the bad passage girls as I've got a gel to insert, looking forward to feeling like I'm pissing myself!
Having a bit of melt down today, I HATE my front room (there's a post on AIBU in case you want a gander!). Our dog is unwell but I can't let myself tell my DH or my parents my guy feeling is she's not got long left. My gut is pretty accurate on these things. The vet hasn't said it's bad news yet but she's back in for further tests tomorrow so fingers crossed.
The above is stressing me out and in the back of my mind I feel this isn't going to help over the next couple of weeks.

BellaD85 · 23/06/2019 13:26

@Cauliflower82 bless you! Hang in there! I remember feeling so fed up the days running up to EC but felt so much better once they were out and I had recovered...sense of relief! Make sure you get a good hot water bottle for your tummy!! Also I recommend not having 2 does of sedation hahaha!!

@CornishMaid1 Good Luck to you!!!! I hope you are getting some relaxation in :-) I have spent all of today wondering if they have implanted and googled every sign possible that they have eeekkk!! Think I need to block the internet! Have you been given a home test or are you going back for a blood test? We were given a home one which surprised me! The nurse said if it's twins then we will show up on a test early which is so tempting but will wait. My husband is by the book on everything so best to wait.

@Ginandtonic31 That's great news too...I bet you are looking forward to having the transfer done. That's good that you are at the hospital for a test! Good luck to you too!

Does anyone have any good tips for the TWW? Kinda driving myself mad today!! Thanks x

CornishMaid1 · 23/06/2019 13:45

@BellaD85 I was given a home test too. I'm staying away from Google but my tummy has been a bit sore today. Spent the day completely reading before I have to go back to work tomorrow

KittyKatSmile · 23/06/2019 15:14

Hm. TWW tips:
-Go on a holiday
-Have a big fight with your mum
-Attempt to read the weekend newspapers cover to cover (should take the whole two weeks)
-Jigsaw (old fave. The one I bought 3 weeks ago hasn't yet moved from where I put it on the kitchen table Grin)
-Doing all the puzzles in take a break or other such drivel of a magazine. Avoid reading the articles.

Also can recommend putting your dream (family) home onto Airbnb because you don't have a family to put into it Grin. All done. First guests due this week. Let me know if any of you ladies fancy a little trip to Guernsey.

AliciaWhiskers · 23/06/2019 16:11

Ooooh @KittyKatSmile you are in Guernsey. I grew up there. I wonder if I know you!

@CornishMaid1 got everything crossed for you after your ET. How are you feeling?

@Mrbay sorry you are having a down day, and really sorry to hear about your dog. I hope she is ok and it’s good news from the vet. I know what you mean about you he stress levels. I’m also in the process of moving House! Not ideal timing!

I can’t scroll any further back so I’ll have to post separately when I can see the other posts.

Lol at The Back Passage Girls! I’ve got all that to come! On day 4 of menopur here, starting fyrenadel tomorrow and a scan on Wednesday. Feeling rubbish today with either terrible hay fever or a sudden onset cold. Went for a long walk with DP and the dog (about 10 miles) and feel completely knackered now. I’m utterly hopeless at resting and taking it easy, but I guess I’m going to have to learn!

AliciaWhiskers · 23/06/2019 16:27

@Zest11 hope your scan goes well tomorrow.

@BellaD85 fingers crossed for you after your ET and hope the bloating goes down soon. Did you have OHSS?

@DawnK77 my clinic said it was ok to have sex a “few days” after EC, but she said she’d be surprised if I was up for it due to the mess of the pessaries! Not sure if that means before or after ET. Can you let me know if you get an answer? (Asking on behalf of my DP, who has been wondering the same thing!)

@mouse1234567 have been thinking about you. Being in limbo is really difficult, I really feel for you. Sending gentle hugs, hope you are ok.

Hi @wishmeluck16, fingers crossed for you too. How are you coping with the 2ww?

Zest11 · 23/06/2019 16:58

@Cauliflower82 that stuff is good - it could make you feel a bit drowsy but it definitely takes the edge off. I have had it at times of severe anxiety.

@BellaD85 Good luck in the TWW! I've made up a list of things to do in The TWW. Maybe some of these will help?
Get a couple of books to read
Take the neighbour's dog for a few walks
Binge watch Killing Eve 2 (been saving it!)
Binge watch Handmaids Tale - not watched that either
Baking
Yoga/Pilates/Body Balance - will have to check we can do these
Puzzles/wordsearches
Get my nails done
Window shopping
Go to a coffee shop and read my book

If anyone else has any suggestions, I too would love to hear them!

@Mrbay I'm sorry your day is not going so well and I am so sorry about your dog. Pets make such great companions. Fingers crossed the vet tomorrow will say everything is okay.

@AliciaWhiskers thank you! I just want to crack on with everything now. I worked myself up earlier that I had already ovulated and would have to start it all again but then felt some very mild twinging and had a load more EWCM so I guess not. How many days into stimming are you now? How are you feeling? Have you got a provisional date for EC yet?

Zest11 · 23/06/2019 17:01

Sorry and @Ginandtonic31 that sounds like a mad number of eggs. How on earth did you not feel anything! Shock I hope you feel a bit better. Just think, come Wednesday you can have the mindset "whats done is done and what will be will be."

Ginandtonic31 · 23/06/2019 17:22

@Zest11 I've no idea! I only had 4 eggs round one and I was struggling to walk. Second round I really couldn't even really tell. Only thing I can think is I drank 3 litres of water every day. Yes I'm hoping I feel like that. I have a tendency to do things and then overthink if I've done the right thing. With everything!!

AliciaWhiskers · 23/06/2019 20:52

Can I ask a quick question? I start the fyremadel injections tomorrow, but I can’t remember where I am supposed to inject? I thought it was on my stomach, like the menopur, but having read the leaflet online it talks about the thigh. I don’t remember my clinic saying anything about the thigh. What do I do?!

Welshpugmomma · 23/06/2019 21:28

Sunday fun day hey hey,
@CornishMaid1 good luck for your little embryooo try not to let the pressure upset you.
@Zest11 crystalpugmomma has quite the ring to it thank you ;)
@Ginandtonic31 not long to go then now , hope your feeling ok in yourself today :)
@Cauliflower82 love the idea of a picture of the needles is been such a big part of it for a lot of us, I haven't given much though to ec tomorrow don't want to freak myself out with it, the injections were enough for a few weeks... Re: protein the clinic were very adamant about high protein diet, not sure if it's too do with quality or minimising ohss, not sure but it's a lottt of protein, being doing 2litres of water too, no room to move in this huge belly either.

Welshpugmomma · 23/06/2019 21:37

@Mrbay sorry to hear about your pooch,I love my doggie so much I hate thinking that they are not able to stay with us for as long as we would like ,fx good news from the vets tomorrow for you.

@kittykatsmile and zest, I'm
Loving all the tww tips , I will be so impatient I know it, going to try so hard to follow the rules. Anyway I'm thinking ahead let's wait till tomorrow...

Early start in the morning better do some grooming first thing and take my X2 paracetemol not that I'm convinced that does anything!

Stay positive ladies Flowers

KittyKatSmile · 23/06/2019 22:11

@AliciaWhiskers I don't know the answer to your question I'm afraid. Would go with google and calling your clinic. Some of them don't matter where, some of them (bastard clexane I think) do. Sorry to be of f-all help there.

PMA for all ladies with big days tomorrow. And of course those with big ovaries too x

Cauliflower82 · 23/06/2019 22:40

@Welshpugmomma best of luck for tomorrow :)

Just a quick one tonight and I’ll update properly tomorrow. I’m getting a bit addicted to the podcast: big fat negative. Loving it!

OP posts:
KittyKatSmile · 23/06/2019 23:12

@Cauliflower82 yesssss! It's brilliant isn't it?! I listened to the whole thing up until about 3 weeks ago in about a fortnight then felt bereft that I couldn't listen to them everyday!! And now someone here knows someone who knows one of them!! I'm starstruck!

Zest11 · 24/06/2019 09:57

@Welshpugmomma hope today goes well for you. And thank you for the protein tips. I see people on here talking about protein and it has encouraged me to put a bit of powder in my cereal!

Very quick update from me. Left ovary is not dead. The person scanning (sonographer is it?) last week couldn't find it and said there musn't be anything going on. This caused me to panic and turn to Dr Google who told me all sorts of horror stories. Today's sonographer found it straight away. Lefty is definitely lazier but thankfully not swimming around rotting like I originally thought! Cheers to tonight's last injection and two fingers to you Crystal82! Grin

Becsharry · 24/06/2019 11:35

@AliciaWhiskers hi! I was on those injections and I was told they were to be done in the top of the leg. I’m petrified of needles so I have a mini bottle of wine in my freezer that I hold on the spot where I’m going to inject for 5 mins and leg was totally numb! Good luck x

BellaD85 · 24/06/2019 11:53

Morning.

So freaking out BIG TIME right now as I woke up this morning with really bad period like cramps. I've just gone to the toilet and there was bright red blood when I wiped, enough to cover the tissue :-( There was also a little bit of tissue in it. Is this normal? I'm so worried!!!!!!!! Only had my ET on Saturday and worried it's all over before it's even begun!!!!!

Just waiting for a call back from the clinic now....they just said to take some paracetamol and stay calm......can't stay calm!! We have nothing in the freezer :-(

Sorry to post something negative but just need some help right now to calm me.

Becsharry · 24/06/2019 12:11

@BellaD85 hi! You’re entitled to write that, everyone is here to support you. I’ve been having bad cramps but no blood as yet. Has there been anymore? I don’t know what to suggest as I haven’t had this. Just keeping everything crossed for you x

BellaD85 · 24/06/2019 12:25

@Becsharry Thank you...just going a little crazy at the moment until I know more!! Seems to be pink in colour now so at least it's not red like before. Just lying on the sofa with a hot water bottle and taken some paracetamol - feels like I do when I start my period :-/ Hopefully the clinic calls back soon!

Bless you I hope the cramps are manageable, get plenty of rest! When is your test date? Fingers crossed for you!!! x

Cauliflower82 · 24/06/2019 12:34

@bellad85 oh no, I’m so sorry you’re going through a hard time. I don’t know if this will help but my friend has continued to bleed since her et and she’s pregnant now and it’s been five weeks and all is still as it should be with her. I’m not sure if that’ll help but I thought it could offer some reassurance.

@Zest11 we are no longer egg collection buddies!!!! 😭 😭 😭 😭 my clinic now want to keep me going until Thursday and see me tomorrow again - I feel like I’m in there every day now. 27 follicles and I feel horrendous but about half of them are still just too small. I can’t even believe Friday is a possibility now. I am so fed up!!!!
I am so happy to hear though that they found activity in your other ovary. Yay 😁 that’s awesome news. I’m so chuffed for you.

@KittyKatSmile I’m about to listen to more bfn right now to try and help me chill out.

Yay I found you all! For some reason the tag didnt come through!

@AliciaWhiskers I had fyremadel and was told either stomach below the belly button or thigh. I preferred tummy as I have more flab to grab there Grin

@mouse1234567 I'm sorry you're having a rubbish time, I hope you're ok!

@BellaD85 I'm keeping everything crossed that things are ok!!

I have read everyones updates but finding it hard to follow everyone! I'm rooting for you all though!

I'm persevering with the progynova after feeling absolutely shitty on them! Definitely feel better than the first 2 days on them but still not feeling great! Transfer a week today!!

Not sure if anyone will know this, but I saw on a forum chat thing about someone not being able to have transfer because their lining was too thick. Does anyone know what would be too thick? Because obviously I'm worrying about that now Hmm
