Hi peeps :)

I’ll hyperlink this to our old thread so we can continue bitching about crystal82 😂

I can’t believe we’ve almost got to 1000 posts. I didn’t even know that was a thing - thank you @kittykatsmile because I had no idea it would just max out and I can NOT go on without you all. That’s not even an option.

@BellaD85 yes rest for the day, pink is fine I’ve so I’ve read. I hope the clinic get back to you soon. My test day is Saturday and I really don’t want to test 😞I’m so anxious. I have everything crossed for you and make sure you rest and watch junk tv xx

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 12:53

@BellaD85 I'm so sorry lovely. I don't know about the tissue but bleeding isn't necessarily a bad thing. Stay away from google and maybe try some breathing exercises. Thinking of you.

My test day is Thursday and I also don't really want to test. Would be fine staying in this blissfully hopeful state for a few more weeks. Went to do all of my drugs for the week last night and realised halfway through that I may not need them after Thursday. That was weird.

Zest11 · 24/06/2019 13:37

@BellaD85 that must have been quite stressful to see but it seems way too early for it to be your period. And yes as cauliflower said I have heard people bleed through pregnancy. I hope it stops/ slows soon for you!

Awww noo @Cauliflower82 but that's great that your clinic are tailoring things so specifically for you. I have loads of small follicles which I think will just not be ready but we are going ahead anyway. It's funny how different clinics do things differently - mine doesn't seem to want us to have more than 20 I think but I would rather loads. Saying that I haven't suffered the side effects from having so many and by your comments it isn't nice...

wishmeluck16 · 24/06/2019 14:01

hi guys! tww is treating me well thank you for asking. Today what would have been 14dpo my positive is nice and firm so i am not going to test again until thursday which is clinic test day.

@BellaD85 i dont know if it is different so early in the process, but I have a heavy fresh blood bleed when i was 11 weeks pregnant with clots and everything and there was completely and utterly nothing wrong!

@wishmeluck16 congratulations :)

@Zest11 I am terrified of ohss so I’m not feeling too happy about the whole thing to be honest :(. I feel so anxious and on edge. At this point I’ve just had enough. I’m terrified of dying and I still have tonnes of things I want to do with my life...
my husband thinks I’m being ridiculously dramatic but I’ve just went into my dark place.

@KittyKatSmile it’s a big week for you. I can totally get the ignorance is bliss during the tww. I don’t think I’d be an early tester either.

@RRoonilWazlib welcome back :)

@Becsharry big week for you too. How have you found the journey so far to get to this point?

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 14:22

@Cauliflower82 you poor little thing. You need to focus on the fact that it's statistically very unlikely you'll die from this right now. You are being monitored to within an inch of your lovely life. Make a happy list of all of these things you want to do and soon you can do them with your baby in tow.

@wishmeluck16 congratulations. Great news!

BellaD85 · 24/06/2019 14:32

Thanks for all your support ladies :-)

@Cauliflower82 Thank you for the reassurance that does make me feel better :-) It slowed a little now and seems to be more pink so fingers crossed!! Still waiting for a call back. So sorry to hear they are making you wait longer. It sucks not having any control over it but hopefully you will have some lovely juice ones on EC day!

@RRoonilWazlib Thank you. Good luck for your ET :-) x

@Becsharry Thanks for your support. I'm currently sat on the sofa watching "Say yes to the Dress" even though I am already married! Good easy watch though!! Might take a few more days off work, due to go back tomorrow but it's very stressful so need to think of just me right now. Good luck for Saturday I have absolutely EVERYTHING crossed for you!!! x

@KittyKatSmile Hopefully it's an implantation bleed! There is 2 in there so fingers crossed they have got themselves real nice and cosy and have just caused havoc with my lining! Good luck for Thursday :-) xx I know what you mean about the meds....I moved mine into a drawer last night because our landlady is selling and the estate agents are round tomorrow for pics (not the best time!!) and thought there's enough to get me to the 5th.....will I need more??? Strange feeling....with nothing in the freezer I'm more anxious about it not working and having to do it all over again :-/ It's been so intense!! I hope Thursday brings you good news x

@Zest11 Thank you x Good luck! I hope you get some good juicies! I'm hoping it's a good sign....was just such a shock at the time! So much so I sent a picture of the tissue to my husband...poor man!! x

BellaD85 · 24/06/2019 14:40

@wishmeluck16 CONTRALUTIONS!!!! That's fantastic news!!!!! :-) It's so nice to see a happy ending x Do you mind me asking (this is my first time on IVF) the dates you have put on your tests....how does that vary to post transfer? I'm a bit lost with what is happening and what the dates are!

@Cauliflower82 I'm so sorry to hear you are feeling like this. It's hard for men to understand as they don't have all the bits and all the hormones racing through their body!! That's what we are here for, we will always understand every thought you go through! I was scared I would die during EC!!! But then when I woke up I was fine. If it's any comfort as long as you are doing everything right then you will be ok. My consultant said that he has been in the IVF business for 25 years and has never seen or heard of a death. That have me some reassurance that I was going to be ok - I hope that helps you too. xx

BellaD85 · 24/06/2019 14:41

Well I say woke up.....after I overcame the feelings of being a turtle!!

Welshpugmomma · 24/06/2019 15:35

Argh again deleted my message before posting it's so annoying how it does that!

@bellad85 fx for you, who knows what all the signs mean as everyones own body will always put a spanner in the works ! Hope your feeling a little better now it's died down abd everyone's advice!

@Cauliflower82, zest is right its good to hear that your clinic are tailoring it all to you, that can only be positive and hey they say good things come to those who wait ;) lol

@Zest11 great news your leftie is joining the party! Is it trigger tonight for you? I'm to scared to scroll up and lose my message again!

@KittyKatSmile enjoy the serene bliss then only 2 more sleeps till revelation day, sounds great about the cottage by the way!

So egg collection went okay today was a wuss about the venflon thing and then went in , it was okay I was quite uncomfortable in the beginning but don't think I said anything and then they gave me more drugs and I don't remember the rest! Just had a lazy sofa day today Cake
Will know tomorrow how many have fertilise,,,.then the next chapter of waiting! Glad my mum managed to come with me and then had a weepy facetime with DH. Can't help but think timing is always against us but on the plus side are so fortunate to have been able to go private just for how quick it's all been... Looks like this week's going to be busy for all the testdates 😀

wishmeluck16 · 24/06/2019 15:54

@BellaD85 actually the dates on the tests are post 5 day embryo transfer.

so the photo has on it 5,6,7 and 10 days post 5 day embryo transfer :) does that make sense? feel free to ask anything you want!

it is my 2nd IVF pregnancy. the first one I also got a positive 5 days post 5 day embryo transfer.

Becsharry · 24/06/2019 16:13

@Cauliflower82 I’ve been ok up until now! Because I was on short protocol and didn’t have to have egg collection I was ok and obviously not as tough as a fresh cycle but the 2ww is definitely the same stressful rollercoaster!

@BellaD85 definitely take some extra time off of work this next two weeks is all about you and relaxing and no stress! X

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 16:57

Well done @Welshpugmomma. Glad you're feeling ok about it. The drugs are great aren't they?!

I've just been away for work for the day and just feel exhausted. I'm hoping that's a good sign but am trying very hard to not jump at shadows everywhere, especially as I've just read something in my FB IVF group (which I've actually tried to leave as it's so bloody annoying and I can't find out how to) 'I've just sneezed twice 3 days after my transfer; do you think I'm probably pregnant?' Bore off. Sorry if she is any of you, but I get the strong impression she's not Grin

Ginandtonic31 · 24/06/2019 17:28

@KittyKatSmile did someone actually say that?! 😂was it crystal82?

@Zest11 what were the Progynova doing to you and how many are you on?

@BellaD85 I'm sorry o don't have much advice but I do know someone who bled like that and it was a clot in the womb.

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 17:43

@Ginandtonic31 I may have used some slight poetic licence but only the tiniest bit:

"I had a really sore throat last night and now I’ve woken up this morning with thecold" has anyone heard this is a good thing or am I looking too hard for signs? (Yes, that one) This from the girl who asks for advice like this every day. Last week it was when should she have sex with her husband. I don't know why this winds me up so much because it's not so different to what I whinge about here, I think it's just because we are (in my mind) a tight group of people whereas she's putting this out to 1,500 people every day!

Sorry for the rant. I told you I'm a bitch IRL Grin

On the plus side, my mood is likely to improve soon as my cab home has got WiFi so I can try and catch up on love island Smile

Ginandtonic31 · 24/06/2019 18:07

@KittyKatSmile I was on an American group (they're crazy) and someone posted a bit of toilet roll with pink blood smeared on it to ask opinion. I was like chuffing Nora I am capable of imagining what it looks like without the picture just popping up as I scroll my feed!!

So this is not a good thing for a person with anxiety to do. I accidentally fell upon a mumsnet post where someone said they regretted their children and lots of others came on saying the same. My DH found me sobbing saying that I might end up like that. He got cross a little bit as he's forever telling me to delete the app (but I just want it for this thread!) and says we need a box with a padlock in to put my phone in. I've resisted all day the urge to google about being maternal or is it normal to be nervous about having children or should you just know because that would be feeding the OCD!

Cauliflower82 · 24/06/2019 18:09

@KittyKatSmile oh god, she sounds like a right drama queen. So, where was I? Yes, my fear of dying from all of this 😂 😂. No drama queens over here, thank you.
I’ve just had a proper cry, read through all of your lovely messages on here (thank you peeps), listed all the things I haven’t done with my life yet (one being to be a mother ffs) but I’m feeling tonnes more like my crazy normal self.
I do think you’re right - I was just thinking today at the clinic that you guys are like my biggest support network. Nobody gets it like you all do. Don’t ever leave me!!!!
#needyivfbitch

@Welshpugmomma 😂 well I’d agree we’ve all waited bloody long enough. I’m glad today went well. It always reassures me when I hear good egg collection stories. Best of luck now for tomorrow.

@BellaD85 yes, yes, this does help. Can I please have them for egg collection day? They sounds lovely 😊.
I’m happy to hear you’re feeling more reassured now. Keep us updated. I’ll be thinking of you and sending best wishes 🙏

Okay, back to bfn ;)

@Ginandtonic31 OMG could not stop laughing at your first paragraph.
Your husband sounds like an absolute gem :), a definite good egg.

glitterbugsparkles · 24/06/2019 19:13

@BellaD85 I really hope the clinic are able to give you a little reassurance. I know lots of people have experienced a bleed and gone on with healthy babes, but I know that doesn't help you right now. Thinking of you

Hope collection and transfer goes well for all you lovely ladies getting to that point. It really is quality and you only need 1.

keeping everyone in the 2ww in my thoughts. It's such a long time but everyone here is so strong.

Zest11 · 24/06/2019 20:40

@Welshpugmomma I'm glad today went okay for you and i hope the next few days before ET go quickly for you :) out of curiosity, how long has the process been for you? We will have to go private if this fails (hopefully it won't) and it would be good to get an idea of timings again.

@Cauliflower82 I completely see where you are coming from. All we need to do is just read one small comment and then the anxiety goes overdrive. Last year I had a laparoscopy and I found an article on the internet how someone had one and it went wrong and they woke up from the GA with a coloscopy bag. I panicked, cried and all sorts thinking that was going to happen to me and the second i woke up from my GA I felt my stomach to see if there was a bag! I can tell you you are definitely not going to die. It is bloody great that your clinic are seeing you everyday. They are closely monitoring you and they know what the right thing to do is. Will you be watching love island tonight? Also, I feel EXACTLY the same as you about everyone in this thread, everyone here is my rock. It is soooo good having people to talk to and share experiences with. What are we going to do when we all get our test results? Shock

@BellaD85 I am glad it has eased off. I hope it calms down and the rest of the tww goes smoothyl.

@Ginandtonic31 Google should totally be banned but that's so funny about the padlock! That is revolting to have to scroll through someone's bloody tissue....eeeewww!! What is progynova?

@KittyKatSmile you are hilarious with the comments about the girl that sneezed and might be pregnant! I completely get about the ignorant bliss about testing. I love how your online persona is completely different! Are you sure you're not a 63 year old man praying on vulnerable women?? Grin

Trigger shot tonight at 9.30pm. Eeek!

Cauliflower82 · 24/06/2019 20:45

@zest11 aww, that’s a very scary story to read - some people should think before posting stuff like that online. I will most certainly be watching love island tonight, especially after last night. Stupid Tom. Go Maura. She was just bloody awesome last night. Go, girl! Ooh trigger shot tonight! I am so jealous but please please please tell me everything about it - it’s another anxiety area for me. I’m rooting for you.

Ginandtonic31 · 24/06/2019 20:48

@Zest11 sorry I got confused. It was @RRoonilWazlib who said about Progynova. I'm on it and just curious about the side effects as I'm on it.

It wasn't even google it was on here. I'm only 'allowed' the app on the proviso I'm on here and not looking at other active threads as my mum and OH think they're toxic!

CornishMaid1 · 24/06/2019 20:58

@Zest11 It is not unusual for an ovary to hide and it is usually the left one. They tend to get more visible as the stims gp on as the weight of the large follicles helps it drop down. My left hides to the point they can't scan it sometimes.

@BellaD85 I'm sorry you're having a bad day. My clinic did say a bit of bleeding was normal. It is too early for period especially if you have progesterone as it holds it off. It could just be a bit from where the catheter went in, it could be implantation or it could just be a clot. May not be anything bad and I hope the clinic has been able to reassure you

Zest11 · 24/06/2019 21:18

@Cauliflower82 yep, who even IS Tom? He is such a nobody on the show. Didn't think I would feel sorry for Maura but I do! Fairplay to the girl! Thank you. The trigger is nothing, I have done it before for IUI (failed). I honestly think the buserelin is the most painful of all the injections.

@CornishMaid1 yes, it has hidden a few times before, it was the sonographer saying they don't normally see such extremes which set me off. I hope you are feeling okay. What are you doing in the tww to keep busy?

KittyKatSmile · 24/06/2019 21:43

@Zest11 I just totally lol'd at the idea I might be a 63 year old man. And I generally don't lol, I see it as a sign of weakness Grin

@Ginandtonic31 is it weird that I feel a sense of pride that we've been permitted by your husband and mother? I'm sort of blushing.

@BellaD85 I've thought of something else too. Sometimes you can have a bruise in there (bizarre!) which can bleed.

Had to rush over the Love Island updates as I'm still catching up. Am onto last night now though, am impressed with how much I've got through today. Easily double the amount of work I've done today.
