Hi everyone, so we saw the nurse earlier this week and our plan has been set. We are on long protocol and will be looking at starting on my December cycle meaning that I will be due to start buserelin around 6th jan with EC being end of Jan.

Anyone else looking at a December/ January cycle?

I hope so. Getting very confused now. Had some sharp cramps yesterday and all day back ache since Thursday. Spotting still but it's a reddish/dark brown colour, enough for a panty liner. Wouldn't bother with a pad. Not like my normal period and no cramps now just a dull ache. Just want it to stop now. Will still test tomorrow, I've tried to call my clinic but could only leave a message.
Going to try and rest today. Thank u all for your help and advice.

@Ginger951 that's what we are hear for- to support each other.

I really hope you just have implantation bleeding.

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow 🤞🏻✨

@Ginger951 I had a lot of dark brown discharge when I wiped at that stage xxx

womaninkent · 23/02/2019 22:50

Good luck tomorrow @ginger951

Definatly not implantion bleeding. Saturday night whilst I was working it got heavier with really sharp cramps. Cramps stopped and bleeding lighten once I was resting again and only 2 pads worth yesterday but a bfn today. So turns out even when on progestrone you can get your period. Absolutely heartbroken. I really hoped ivf would give us a chance.

@brighteye3986 how u doing? How u feeling now?

PostiveThinkingRainbow · 25/02/2019 08:06

@Ginger951 so sorry to hear your news, I have been there and know exactly how you feel!! Life can be so cruel and unfair sometimes.
Thinking of you and always here if you want to talk. xxx

brighteye3986 · 25/02/2019 08:25

Oh @Ginger951 I'm so sorry. My heart is breaking for you. I was really hoping you would get your BFP. Take it easy and rest up.

I'm ok- spent most of my day yesterday on the sofa as felt like I was going to throw up all day and just felt generally exhausted. I went to bed at 8 and fell asleep pretty much straight away. Woke up this morning and felt like I hadn't slept at all.

Popped to Morrison's on my way to work this morning and brought some ginger nuts to stop the nausea.

Yesterday was also the first time I wanted to test and nearly brought a test but held out.

Positivity86 · 25/02/2019 09:39

@Ginger951 I'm so sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can take comfort in the fact you have some frosties for the future x

@brighteye3986 sounds promising! When are you testing?

brighteye3986 · 25/02/2019 09:45

@Positivity86 Wednesday. I want to know but also I don't. I'm scared it hasn't worked but yesterday I just felt pregnant, so who knows. It's a horrible rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions this IVF malarkey! I can't believe it has come around this quickly. And DH is going away Wednesday night so if it doesn't work I won't even have him around to support me.

Thanks @Positivity86 x

I have everything crossed for myself. Had nausea again this morning. Seems to have calmed down this afternoon though. Just ache and feel really tired today even after going to bed at 8 last night.

@brighteye3986 congratulations!!! Wonderful news.

brighteye3986 · 26/02/2019 06:57

Thanks @womaninkent as tomorrow is OTD we are going to test again tomorrow just to double check but I'm sure 1 day won't make a difference. I'm still in shock. This is my first BFP in 3.5 years of TTC.

@brighteye3986 is that one that says weeks onit? I just did one and got pregnant but no weeks like yours an I carnt find out why? Sorry to crash in your thred hun xx

brighteye3986 · 26/02/2019 09:45

@WhyIsItAlways No mine was just a normal digital one from Tesco that DH picked up last night on his was home- it was the only one that they had left on their shelves! There are different ones you can get some have week and some don't. I think it's clear blue that do the one with weeks.

I think DH is going to buy some normal ones today so we can hopefully actually see a line! 😬
