Here, he just looks so young

OP posts:
namechanger101 · 15/02/2009 21:01

the sister is not 19 now, she was not 13 when she had the baby.

whomovedmychocolate · 15/02/2009 21:08

Only just seen this

I thought boys of 13 didn't have sex because they were too busy wanking in their parent's bathroom?

Seriously how sad for the poor baby and for both of them.

Kids remain the legal responsibility of both their parents till the age of 18 unless legally emancipated, their parents should be ashamed.

whomovedmychocolate · 15/02/2009 21:10

The photographer ought to be shot as well - he's managed to take a shot of the girl with a pink teddy coming out of her head like some bizarre pink pork pie hat.

hayley2u · 15/02/2009 21:15

not read all thread so might repeat what im saying sorry if so,but i heard that someone has coe forward as the real dad and its not him, its some kind of money scheme it is a roumer though ,

fortyplus · 15/02/2009 21:21

I seriously doubt that a child who clearly hasn't yet reached puberty was able to father a child 9 months ago. DNA tests would surely prove that he's not the real father?

StudentMadwife · 15/02/2009 21:26

they are getting dna tests from what i gather. too right too as locals have said he was not the first boy to sleep with her. seems like a money making scandel to me, might be wrong, but hope to god hes not the father for is sake

StudentMadwife · 15/02/2009 21:26

*his sake

Lulumama · 15/02/2009 21:28

if it is a money making ruse, they have not thought it through terribly well, as all the other putative fathers have been quick off the mark

how terrible, for this days old baby girl, to be the centre of this type of sordid story

what a start in life

there won't be any winners in this, and i hope all involved have been taken for a sexual health check.

fortyplus · 15/02/2009 21:31

You have to feel terribly sorry for the poor young mum, too. What possessed her to parade in front of the cameras like that? It's got to be for money. Surely her parent(s) should be protecting her from that?

SweetAudrina · 15/02/2009 22:00

Well I hope that when they find out the little boy isn't the father they will publish THAT in the press and not allow the public just to go on thinking he was the daddy.

HerBeatitudeLittleBella · 15/02/2009 23:58

I disagree, I don't think it's any of our business and the press should not be parading these vulnerable children for our entertainment, or any other child who might be the father of this baby. I simply cannot believe the press are allowed to do this, where the hell are the regulatory bodies? Why are these children being allowed to be put on show like this? It is an absolute disgrace, where is their right to privacy and protection? How comes Social Services haven't stepped in to protect them, since their parents are not doing so?

I'm not blaming the children Dittany. I'm blaming the adults. Hence my question about how comes nobody is stepping in to protect them.

Oh I'd missed that, agree, I think it's totally unreasonable to ask what possessed a 15 year old who has just given birth, what possessed her to do anything. The correct question isn't "what possessed her?" it's "what possessed her parents?"

I'm outraged by how much we expect of children in this country, and how little we expect of adults.

Quattrocento · 16/02/2009 00:28

There are so many things wrong with this story on so many different levels.

  1. The grandparents who seem to have 15 children between them. Funded how? Parenting how?
  1. The lack of education and aspirations that would make them behave like this.
  1. The fact that they are being paraded around like some kind of victorian freak show for public entertainment
twentypence · 16/02/2009 01:02

I've just seen that another boy (this one thankfully a slightly more robust 16) has said he reckons it might be his, apparently Maisie has 'his eyes'.

I wonder how much money the Sun etc. are paying for these stories. Something tells me it's nowhere near enough to have this hanging over you forever.

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 16/02/2009 08:44

Have you seen this today

no way is alfie 4 months old in that picture. how many 4 month olds do you know who can sit up and feed themselves an ice cream? fuckwits.

MarmadukeScarlet · 16/02/2009 09:14

I was about to post that.

Perhaps he has always been advanced for his age?

TotalChaos · 16/02/2009 09:20

agree with dittany and littlebella. how completely unsavoury. and dreadful that this young girl's alleged sex life is being splashed all over the media, with putative fathers being strangely keen to assert paternity.

MarmadukeScarlet · 16/02/2009 09:29

I agree it is unsavoury, a shameless attempt to capitalise from a situation that many would be ashamed to admit to.

Although, very selfishly, this has been really helpful for me. I have been trying to have 'that' conversation with my DD for a few weeks now. It has proved a great starting point about how having sex should be for consenting adults etc.

Kimi · 16/02/2009 10:46

I think the "parents" of this little boy and his girlfriend should hang their heads in shame, I see they now want a DNA test as the girl seems to have put her self about a bit.
It is heart breaking to see and even more upsetting is that after my taxes have gone to pay for this girls work-shy family they will now pay for her to be a brood mare.

Society is falling apart and the most sickening thing is SOME people find this expectable, it is not.

Kimi · 16/02/2009 10:50

There are so many things wrong with this story on so many different levels.

  1. The grandparents who seem to have 15 children between them. Funded how? POOR BLOODY TAX PAYER AS ALWAYS
Parenting how? VERY BADLY SO IT WOULD SEEM
  1. The lack of education and aspirations that would make them behave like this. BENEFIT CULTURE WHY BOTHER TO MAKE AN EFFORT AND DO WELL WHEN THE STATE WILL PICK UP THE TAB
  1. The fact that they are being paraded around like some kind of Victorian freak show for public entertainment.
BECAUSE IT WILL MAKE THEM MONEY AND THAT IS ALL THESE TYPE OF PERSON CARE ABOUT, EXTRA FAG MONEY
