The OW looks hard as nails, has written a book on being a 'professional mistress'. Just why am I not surprised? Hailed as celebrity family of the year. What a joke. Poor Tana, hope she gets her pound of flesh out of him.

Just what does a man need? A beautiful wife, 4 lovely, healthy kids, a thriving business empire, money galore...and throwing it all away for a serial mistress that looks cold as ice and calculating.

she may well be doing it for the leverage ("i'll toe the party line for now but i want x, y and z in return...") or to buy herself time while she considers her options.

I don't think she can win tbh - what are the options?

1. appear for the school run looking glum, red-eyed and teary = press have an absolute field day with speculation about rows, etc

2. look 'normal' to avoid said speculation

She is not just an ordinary woman in the street who has woken up to this, she knows banks of journos are watching her every move and her every reaction.

agree - but the thing is she is prob in shock ..and there must be an element of I'm damned if I'm letting other people see how upset/angry I am etc.

also re GR not going on about it - the thing about confessing etc is tends to fan the flames -plus if you follow the logic that shouldnt have been released to press as none of their business then surely none of their business if you make a comment one way or another

I really fail to see whats wrong with trusting your DH.

I know that sometimes affairs happen but surely when you're with someone a big part of a relationship is trusting them or am i just madly optimistic and or naive?

And I still don't see what it has to do with anyone. Gr isn't presenting himself as a marriage guidance counsellor, he's a chef. Who he has or hasn't shagged isn't going to change his ability to cook is it? The only people who can possibly be hurt by this are his family. His wife, and his 4 children. The rest of the world has no business even caring about it.

Fwiw I don't think it was the other woman telling the details. Because if it had been there would have been more details of other encounters, but instead there were only the details of one meeting really, a meeting which happened in the past week, and this has been going on for 7 years? to me that says that either he's pissed someone off and they've made it all up (wouldnt be the first time the NOTW has published shite), or he was followed by a journalist, and possibly the room was even bugged. If it had been the ow surely she would have gone into more details about how they met, how he first had sex with her etc - to only give an account of what happened last thursday when you have 7 years of history just doesn't make sense to me.
