The OW looks hard as nails, has written a book on being a 'professional mistress'. Just why am I not surprised? Hailed as celebrity family of the year. What a joke. Poor Tana, hope she gets her pound of flesh out of him.

Just what does a man need? A beautiful wife, 4 lovely, healthy kids, a thriving business empire, money galore...and throwing it all away for a serial mistress that looks cold as ice and calculating.

Makes you depressed, doesn't it?

mankymummy · 24/11/2008 16:19

Headline "Cheat and Two Veg".... love it

BitOfFun · 24/11/2008 16:20

Aargh, it wasn't her! She is just sad and curious like us....now I will have to scroll thru 10 pages and track down the teasing varmint who just chucked that snippet in and buggered off

educatingRia · 24/11/2008 16:27

NO! Not Phil. That would be

TBH I am wondering why have crisps and wine from an Off licence when he could have taken something nicer from his restaurant/got it from room service. Any why in a hotel next door to his restaurant where he will obviously be observed?

IIRC his much-hated father had affairs (I think that was in the first book), and he is supposed to be very close to his mother, so I would like to hope it isn't true, but it could be "self destruct" behaviour?

As someone else said though - how did he find the time for an affair with his schedule? My DH (also a chef, but hopefully not an over-sexed one) barely has time to think when he's busy, let alone plan trysts (I loved the post about having trysts too)

I did think the phot on the front of the papers today looked genuine. But obviously I live in cloud-cuckoo-land

izyboy · 24/11/2008 16:28

So when it is said all celeb chefs apart from Jamie are up to no good, does his include 'chicken-lover' Hugh F-W? That I would find surprising.

CrushaGrape · 24/11/2008 16:30

Although the Paul O'Grady Bebo page says Gordon is due on the show today (also Richard Hammond), the Channel 4 website has the guests as Hammond and Brian Conley. Poo. I guess Gordon pulled out.

Didn't pull out fast enough

Sry, that was lame.

am recording it just in case!

I wouldn't want to have an affair with Jamie Oliver (not that he would want one with me either, thank goodness), nor HFW, or Pierre White. or Worral Thompson.

Or Ainsley Harriot.

I would be tempted by Phil, but that would be wrong because I like Fern.

So that leaves me James Martin

I think I may have given this too much thought

educatingRia · 24/11/2008 16:35

lol alexa

Blu · 24/11/2008 16:37

Rick Stein strikes me as a very nice man - v lovable and interesting.

Who's that Italian one who keeps running his fungers through his long dark wavy hair before plunging them back in the dinner?

Blu · 24/11/2008 16:38

And definitley not Hugh fearnley-river-cottage man.

wannaBe · 24/11/2008 16:38

Blu: Marco Pierre White?

izyboy · 24/11/2008 16:45

He has a 'back to nature' look about him has Hugh F-W not completely unappealing, unlikely that bullying arse GR. I must admit I find him such a turn off.

BitOfFun · 24/11/2008 16:45

You would shag Marcus wearing what wannabe? A leopard-print thong maybe? Thanks for coming back!

Alexa808 · 24/11/2008 16:49

agree with dittany, I think once the shock wears off and the realization and loss of trust will set in, she'll dump GR.

izyboy · 24/11/2008 16:51

Nah.. too much to lose Alexa. Besides they probably lead fairly separate lives anyway with his work schedule.

Alexa808 · 24/11/2008 16:57

izboy: that wld b sad. Doesn't her Dad have all the £££? Well, you're probably spot on re different lives. How

izyboy · 24/11/2008 17:00

Yep but I guess as a couple when you become a 'brand' it must be EXTRA difficult to walk away from the trappings. It becomes the ultimate in 'defining relationships'.

wannaBe · 24/11/2008 17:10

can't find it.

Admit have only just read the artacle and tbh I don't believe a word of it. That's not to say that i don't believe that GR is capable of having an affair, but I don't believe this particular story.

She apparently didn't comment - why? She was quick enough to admit having shagged Jeffrey archer so why would she not admit to this? Maybe because it's not true and if GR sues the NOTW he could sue her as well?

This is a woman who has written a book as a handbook for the other woman (classy) so she clearly has no morals or shame about what she does.

I would imagine that even if GR has cheated on his wife she is already well aware. But let's face it if they were to split then she would go back to being nobody, she is famous because of who she is married to not because of who she is, same with victoria Beckham, and some women value their position more than themselves...

poppy34 · 24/11/2008 17:15

the thing that shocks me most in this thread is that educatingria could actually contemplate having a fling with ainsley herriott [we so badly need a bluergh emoticon]
