The OW looks hard as nails, has written a book on being a 'professional mistress'. Just why am I not surprised? Hailed as celebrity family of the year. What a joke. Poor Tana, hope she gets her pound of flesh out of him.

Just what does a man need? A beautiful wife, 4 lovely, healthy kids, a thriving business empire, money galore...and throwing it all away for a serial mistress that looks cold as ice and calculating.

Agree that both Tana and Gordon have done well out of the "branding". Why is their branding worse than that of Jamie Oliver?

To say OW has written a handbook for affairs, she has not follwed the discretion rule too well.

Didn't Rick Stein allegedly have an affair too. I'm sure he is lovely (and his programmes are good) but he always strikes me as a bit sad and lonely, travelling around with his dog.

I don't know what it is re GR and the branding v. jamie oliver - I suspect its the sincerity and the over sharing re their sex lfe (you can present a united front without having to act like you might dry hump her in front of the cameras)

I think they would most certainly would have had prior warning re: the news was about the 'break'.

I don't agree that Tana knew about Gordon's infidelity (if it is true) because that is the same as agreeing to an open marriage and I just don't think Tana fits the sharing mould at all - but just my opinion.

And in the NOTW article, it talks about GR walking up and down the corridor a few times before eventually going into the OW's room - how does the paper know about this level of detail? Is there a camera on the corridor with a journo watching every movement and taking down notes or has the OW told all?

These men are so stupid.They all think they can get away with it.

To me it is pretty clear the "source" for this story is the lady herself and her "no comment" is just a coy way of diverting attention from that.

The level of detail makes it pretty obvious it comes from her, possibly related by her mate or her sister or whatever so she can technically claim she didn't speak to the press but still with her foreknowledge and authorisaton.

Maybe to publicise her book, but more likely to settle some grudge with Gordon (like he wouldn't leave Tana for her).

NOTW wouldn't publish this if they didn't have VERY solid evidence. They'd be sued into the ground. If it wasn't true GR would have shot his big mouth off about it rather than all this smiley no comment stuff. And while I hate some tittle tattle about slebs' private lives I think this story is totally justified, we have the wholesome Ramsay family brand shoved down our throats virtually every day. Probably that was what irked the mistress too.

Yes it does seem unusual that GR - no shrinking violet! - has not defended himself as yet...whereas if the story really was not true, then why keep quiet?

Quick poll. Your not so D H is accused of adultery. It seems likely that he has done it. You may or may be aware of the fact beforehand but read it in a national newspaper. Do you :

a) Attack him with a kitchen implement
b) Feed him dog food
c) Pose smiling adoringly into his eyes for reporters.

I find it so bizarre when women do this. Perhaps she does know all along that he has not been faithful, but it just seems as if she must be doing it for "Brand" Ramsay. Surely even if she has no intention of leaving him it would be more dignified not to be paraded like a circus animal for the papers ?
