pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:27

i think it might be my human right to swear

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 31/10/2008 22:28

Andrew Sachs - on a point of principal - became the third person in their relationship at the moment that JR screamed 'he fucked your grand-daughter' into his answering-machine.

ONCE AGAIN for the hard of freaking thinking - GB's subsequent behaviour in no way changes the fact that RB and JR behaved repuslively.

gallusbesom · 31/10/2008 22:31

Am I out of order to shout "I DON'T FECKIN GIVE A FLYING RATS ARSE ABOUT THIS HOO HAA"?

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:31

they behaved like nobs.

georgina is fighting back well, meting out punishment to ross and brand, making a lot of money along the way and boosting her career.

all's fair in love and war

southeastalien · 31/10/2008 22:31

lol it's like a mumsnet thread - let's all pick apart at a few badly judged comments someone made on a saturday night, until we ruin them and destroy their career

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:31

oh, and doubling humiliating her dear old granda into teh bargain

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:32

winners all round

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 31/10/2008 22:32

yes I see your point VS, but in extreme examples of people who live by publicity. Until this moment, GB had courted publicity only in her very niche world, and had not attempted to garner attention through her relationship with RB. I'm reliably informed that the court would look unkindly on any attempt to figure this otherwise.

VictorianSqualor · 31/10/2008 22:32

Actually, it seems it wasn't his answerphone, I'm assuming you still haven't watched his interview..

southeastalien · 31/10/2008 22:32

then we'll all be happy and rub our hand with glee in anticipation for the next victim

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:33

i have watched the itnerview

what you talkin bout?

izyboy · 31/10/2008 22:34

CRIPES LADIES ARE WE STILL SHOUTING AT EACH OTHER SINCE THE LAST TIME I LOOKED 9 HOURS AGO.

VictorianSqualor · 31/10/2008 22:34

OBM said "Andrew Sachs - on a point of principal - became the third person in their relationship at the moment that JR screamed 'he fucked your grand-daughter' into his answering-machine."
Yet if it was his answerphone I don't get why he had the producer of the show (or someone who worked on it) call him up and play him it down his mobile.
Doesn't add up.

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 31/10/2008 22:35

YES! WE ARE!

d'you know, they still won't agree that sticking up for misogyny isn't funny or clever?

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:35

because he wasn't at ghome to pick up his messages?

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:36

The whole point is, I don't see it as sticking up for misogyny

izyboy · 31/10/2008 22:37

Onebat did the kids ever get that lunch? I managed to post while also cleaning the loo floor earlier - quite a feet methinks (if not a hygenic one!)

izyboy · 31/10/2008 22:38

feat

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 31/10/2008 22:39

I don't think the issue of whether it is or isn't the Actual Answering Machine of Andrew Sachs is relevant. The fact is that some other agency has forced AS into a knowledge of his GS;s sexual life that he may (or may not) rather not have had. He didn't have the choice, and nor did she.

I do lots of sexual things that I wouldn't wish to discuss with my parents. Don't you?

wintera · 31/10/2008 22:40

Victorian Squalor - The thing about the answerphone has me thinking too. From what he said in his interview it would appear that AS didn't actually hear them on his answerphone and only heard it when the bbc rang for his permission. It would be very ironic if maybe he couldn't understand his answerphone message or in fact didn't get it. Then if the bbc had been on the ball and edited the show, nobody at all would be any the wiser and none of this would have happened!

onebatmotherofNormanBates · 31/10/2008 22:40

Fuck! The kids!

ScottishMummy · 31/10/2008 22:40

this debacle is risible.swearing, abuse accusations of misogyny if anyone has temerity to disagree.add a smattering of dont diss da sisterhood

and that is just the posters

pointygravedogger · 31/10/2008 22:41

someone could have said to him, hey look at your granbdaughter's myspace page. That would be some mean misogynist.

izyboy · 31/10/2008 22:41

'night ladies I'll leave you to it - i'm too knackered from the Halloween party to rejoin this endless debate.

VictorianSqualor · 31/10/2008 22:43

It's no about misogyny and as I said earlier if that word keeps getting thrown about every time someone mentions a man a woman and sex then it's going to lose all credibility a bit like feminism.

Also, misandry is extremely prominent in comedy, mainly soaps and the like, but for cheap laughs men are ridiculed and mocked.
