There is a police press conference this afternoon. I can't see a time for this but it's sounding like a routine one.

Jesus wept, this case sure is bringing out the crazies, there are some truly bonkers comments going around. Soon someone will be accusing the lady in the yellow coat of taking off with Nicola in her pram.

@pigsinoodies Yes this was also said when the issue with companies house was brought up. That it had no bearing on how successful or not the company was and had no significance. I just felt it was symptomatic of how people were turning the whole incident into a mystery like the Maura Murray or Andrew Gosden disappearances. It's all rather ghoulish imo and beyond harmless conjecture.

I wasn't going by stereotype - more how she would have the time to fit it in without her work or family noticing.

I do still think that accidentally falling into the river is the most likely thing, as missing next to a river usually means this. The shallow and slow moving water, with nobody spotting her when they found the dog or since though, is really baffling me. If she had tragically drowned in an accident in that specific stretch of water then she logically should not have moved very far.
It is so incredibly sad and worrying, I keep thinking of her little girls at home, it is unbearable.

Because sometimes you would go out your way for x to make it seem to others why would they, do x when y is closer, a red herring so to speak

So if Mr Fauldings doesn't find her does that then put pressure on police to be open to alternatives? He seemed pretty convincing to me about his skill and his high spec equipment. Not 100% certainty but maybe 90%?

it was in the local news now about a woman that disappeared 6 months ago, doubt there is so much police presence comparing to nikki’s case. I guess the scenarios are different as this woman didnt have little kids but she did have family who are worried about her, what if with nikki it’s the same? She just doesn’t want to be seen and has gone away without leaving any trace? Has it been mentioned whether her passport is at home?

It was said he would be searching for 4 days at least. They said it may be weeks before she is discovered. If she has drifted out to the estuary. They said they had 500 lines of inquiry to check on.
