And what on earth did she do for opening jars all that time?

bossybritches · 03/12/2007 22:21

DrNorth do you get three heads as well?

UQD- or putting the bins out?

RosaLuxMundi · 03/12/2007 22:23

UQD- so your DW hasn't discovered the Lakeland catalogue yet. They supply an excellent jar-opener that you can put in a drawer when not in use. No need for a husband.

OH MY GOD how did that happen? I swear I did not press post three times.

WendyWeber · 03/12/2007 23:19

No, there was a bit of a problem with the website about that time, RL - lots of posts triplicated, not just yours - do not fret, my dear

LOL at DaDingDaDongDaMerrilyOnHigh, I was married to a Geordie and that's exactly how he spoke. Even 20 years after having emigrated to Oz

Every report I've read, although not directly accusing of him, is linking it to suspicious cases of fake disappearances in the past. The media often know more than they can officially publish and, in this case, I'd imagine that there is definitely something fishy going on.

bossybritches · 04/12/2007 11:21

Aha so my sceptic radar was right then!!

So fellow sleuths do we think that he & the missus have done a deal & are swanning off into the Panamanian sunset then?

The plot thickens eh???????

Bizarre indeed Fio.

Well no they wouldn't know would they if Ma & Pa had been in cahoots, but to them it's still their Dad they lost for whatever reason poor things.

I wonder if he just turned up on the doorstep "Hello Son"?

Or did one of them see him somewhere & persuade him to go to police station.

Curiouser & curiouser as Alice said.

chopchopbusybusy · 04/12/2007 12:07

Do people really think "ooh, I think I'll emigrate. Panama City sounds nice" Apologies to any residents of Panama City reading this but it just all seems very implausible. If he really had amnesia where did he get the money to live for the past 5 years or has he been living rough?
