Twiglett · 04/07/2007 15:42

how come they can neither spell accurately nor use the rules of English Grammar?

OP posts:
haychee · 05/07/2007 17:45

I joined to lodge my dissappointment at the MN users who actioned the withdrawl of the madeleine ad from the cinemas.

meandmyflyingmachine · 05/07/2007 17:45

And you have certainly done that...

haychee · 05/07/2007 17:46

thankyou! I am patting myself on the back!

meandmyflyingmachine · 05/07/2007 17:47

So, having accomplished your intention, are you off?

TootyFrooty · 05/07/2007 17:48

945

haychee · 05/07/2007 17:48

im sorry, but no, are you?

quadrophenia · 05/07/2007 17:52

I actually think you should stick around and see what else MN has to offer. I think you have coped reasonably well with flying in the face of general opinion and ultimately you have as much right to hold yours as everyone else. Its always nice to have diversity on MN and I'm sure on som threads you may hold views that others agree with

haychee · 05/07/2007 17:53

thankyou quad, at last i feel welcomed!

meandmyflyingmachine · 05/07/2007 17:54

Me? No, I've been here ages and am truly sucked in now.

Good,isn't it?

tissy · 05/07/2007 17:54

haychee, why don't you have a look at some threads that aren't about you-know-who? There must be something to interest you, and you will find we're quite a nice bunch if you aren't getting our backs up

quadrophenia · 05/07/2007 17:54

you can stay too

Twiglett · 05/07/2007 17:55

You appear to understand the basis of grammar. You are however over-using the exlamation mark. But on balance, you may stay

OP posts:
TootyFrooty · 05/07/2007 17:56

Well haychee the wording of your first post was pretty vile so I don't think you can be surprised that not everyone welcomed you.

Anyway, enjoy MN - I'm sure you will.

haychee · 05/07/2007 17:59

i will do that in due course but this topic is one (as you may of guessed) that i feel very strongly about. Its what bought me here in the first place. I do feel that if we are to reach an agreement then maybe we can move the campaign for madeleine forward in a direction to suit all of us? Or is that in now way a possibility?

haychee · 05/07/2007 18:00

I admit my first post was very strong and apologies for that but i came in with all guns blazing. I do as i said feel very strongly about the topic.

quadrophenia · 05/07/2007 18:01

TBh Haychee its all been done on here, and people whilst holding madeline in their thoughts are moving on. there are plenty of places you can go I should imagine where you could offer your support. Use Mn for other stuff it has loads to offer

haychee · 05/07/2007 18:01

!!! i love explanation marks!!! dont you???!!!

TootyFrooty · 05/07/2007 18:01

You'll never find everyone on here agreeing about anything I'm afraid. Check out the WOHM v SAHM debates, breast v bottle, fruit shoots etc etc. It's what makes this such a good discussion board.

haychee · 05/07/2007 18:02

Thanks for the advice

SueBaroo · 05/07/2007 18:11

Fwiw, Haychee, much respect to you for having the gumption to stick around for the absolute hailstorm of flak you got.

It can honestly only get better after a baptism of fire like that.

haychee · 05/07/2007 18:17

thankyou sue.
im sorry if my views have upset you so far.

time for a (((((group hug?)))))

haychee · 05/07/2007 18:19

do you not like fluffy?
i like group hugs

SueBaroo · 05/07/2007 18:21

no, someone should swear and then the delicate balances will be restored...

It's important, though, if we get too fluffy, tickers might start spontaneously appearing.
