Good grief!

Nbg · 13/06/2007 10:52

Oh ffs.

Hope to god it isnt true.
Is it from one of these phycics?

CountessDracula · 13/06/2007 10:53

omg

expatinscotland · 13/06/2007 10:54

i really hope this is another hoax.

WendyWeber · 13/06/2007 10:54

OMG

Shivers up spine

I hope it's not true too

fireflyfairy2 · 13/06/2007 10:54

Oh that made the shivers go up my back

oliveoil · 13/06/2007 10:55

omg, hope this isn't true

Nbg · 13/06/2007 10:55

and why was it sent to a dutch newspaper?

WendyWeber · 13/06/2007 10:56

Maybe it's the Dutch/Flemish thing - as it's the person who located the Belgian girls - and they saw the McCanns on Dutch TV?

oh god

in a way, this would at least give them closure and let them grieve. I think I would prefer to know that my child was dead and therefore "safe" rather than somewhere being constantly hurt and abused and not knowing what was happening to her for the rest of my life. I don't know.

It is horrific

Ulysees · 13/06/2007 10:57

So do you reckon this is a psychic? So very sad if it is true

Nbg · 13/06/2007 10:57

hmm, i suppose so.

WendyWeber · 13/06/2007 10:57

Yes, pph

BeatrootandBenedick · 13/06/2007 10:58

pph/n - yes - if she is dead - which would seem more and more likely, it would be preferable to have her body and say grieve.

WideWebWitch · 13/06/2007 10:58

Me too ppn. This is so awful and tragic.

Lizzylou · 13/06/2007 10:58

PPN, those are my thoughts exactly.

bundle · 13/06/2007 10:59

Sadly, the longer Madeleine is missing, the lower the chance is of finding her alive. That ache the McCanns must feel every morning when they wake up and she's still not there must be crushing

expatinscotland · 13/06/2007 10:59

It is truly horrific, PPN, indeed.

WideWebWitch · 13/06/2007 11:00

Bundle, I know. We cannot begin to imagine can we really? Poor her and them.

sandcastles · 13/06/2007 11:00

OMG...I so so hope that isn't true!!!

edam · 13/06/2007 11:02

Good grief. I wonder if 'the person who located the Belgian girls' is a psychic? If so, I hope they aren't just seeking attention.

yes it's a pyschic, so don't know how reliable the information will turn out to be. I read something about it yesterday. Psychics (real or not) from all over the world have been saying such different things that it's difficult to know what to think of it all. A pyschic who writes in German has been saying for a long time it was an accidental death and mentions a similar place to this one in the Dutch paper but then others have said she has been taken by a childless couple and is safe and anywhere from Spain to Lesotho.

wannaBe · 13/06/2007 11:11

am ve of psychics.

I'd imagine that if it's true we'll know soon enough, as someone will go down there to check it out surely.

I do wonder how many of these calls and letters police forces get that aren't disclosed to the media. After the "credible" call of last week the police said they'd had hundreds of such calls every week and yet most are discounted altogether.

Think I'd also rather know my child was dead than not ever knowing tbh.
