Updated allegations (as of 17-10-17) Alleged harassment/assault often took place in hotel suites or offices or private residences/rooms. Some at Cannes, Sundance, Venice, Toronto film festivals. Complainants included actresses, assistants, interns, models, presenters, a producer.

'Bargaining' was a ploy in many cases as was presenting himself in a bathrobe or naked or in the bath and often took place in hotel suite meetings where women were sent up to the room from the original venue or accompanied by assistants who were then told to leave.

His name has been floating around gossip sites for years in connection with Corey haim so anyone who reads those would have been aware of the allegations. I think that this is the first time he has been named in the mainstream media? About time too. He is an absolute scumbag. How he has gotten away with his appalling behaviour for so many years I don't know

I see he has now issued a denial. I wonder if he will be suing the national enquirer and daily mail then?

I was waiting how long that one would take. As I said upthread Tig Notaro absolutely nailed it in her show (season 2 last episode). Given Louis CK supposedly gave her her big break what she wrote and filmed and said on the record was fearless. Him issuing no comment whatsoever is the opposite.

The BBC has pulled its big flagship Christmas drama , Agatha Christies Ordeal By Innocence due to the allegations about Ed Westwick.

There are also cutting Kevin Spacey out of a film due for release late December. They are rewriting his part with Christopher Plummer.

I don’t for a second think they are doing it on moral grounds. It’s all about the money.

Apparently Plummer has been chosen due to his photographic memory. He only has to read a script once to be able to memorize it and they are very tight for time as its due for a Christmas release.

Anthony Edwards has also now spoken about being abused by a producer here when he was 12. Its a really strong and heart breaking statement.

At least that statement by Louis CK didn’t have him denying everything.

But yes, he’s a very clever man. And the cynic in me isn’t sure whether he is genuine.

In any case, it doesn’t matter if he is. He should still face consequences. We’ll see whether or not his contrition remains quite so heartfelt then.

It is just not normal to randomly ask anyone if you can get 'your dick out' unless you have very clear understanding beforehand is it? I mean, as a woman, I'm mentally doing the equivalent, and I cannot imagine just randomly asking someone I work with in any situation where sex wasn't clearly on the table, if they object to me exposing my vagina to them? I mean, its just not normal, unless you see women as being inherently subservient to your sexual whims. Which is what all these men have in common and where the real problem is, not how politely they asked!!

The accusations against Westwick are serious. Made my stomach churn reading the actresses account. He's saying it's all a blatant lie Bastard. Well that means he'll be suing for defamation then.......oh wait.....

Gary Goddard got away with it after Egan withdrew his lawsuit against him and Bryan Singer. Mike has the right to go to court again but because he has a conviction for fraud and his lawyers previously said his claims were unfounded/malicious/made up he won't be a credible witness.
Anthony Edwards would make a credible witness. I hope to God other victims come forward and take this predator down. They don't just stop. They never do. He has denied it. Of course he has.

Another actress going to sue him.

The Rebel Wilson article was interesting on two counts:
Firstly, because the accompanying video (her character pretending she stashes a gun down her bra in order to get felt up by her partner) has NOTHING to do with her claims. So why is it there? To cast doubt on her or portray her as committing a double-standard (complaining of harassment but happy to film a scene with a female harasser. An interesting scene actually because if you do find it funny it's only because of the gender reverse - if you flip it to a bloke pretending his gun is kept in his pants it becomes sleazier).
Secondly, because it is talking about a scene (I didn't see the film but in its trailer it is gross-out comedy with a firework up his butt at one point) whereas Rebel tweeted that she was asked to finger him repeatedly off screen. She does not do naked scenes either but that won't stop people thinking she did when it was a double. Does Sasha stay in character a lot, is he method? He has had various lawsuits for generally being a dick when in character, nothing sexual as far as I am aware but clearly, whatever happened on set, he should be apologising to her.

John Travolta now being accused. It's the worst kept secret in Hollywood that he's gay, so perhaps now he will finally come out.
