Wonderful victim blaming by the compassionate mother of 2 who allegedly wants to hold an adult discussion about peace!

endless racism and victim blaming. it's like talking across a temporal gap - here we are in the 21st century and there they are back in the era of colonial emperialism telling us about how awful these savages are, how they don't even love their children, how they worship death and cannot be reasoned with.

only instead of just killing their culture with missionaries you actually want to kill them in the thousands and then claim it's their fault for putting themselves in that situation.

throw in some islamaphobia and (a slightly more modern but same spirit) throwing in of 9/11 and that is supposed to make everyone go oh yes, they're terrible savages you know, thank goodness those civilised israelis are exterminating them in ghettos.

and then the irony of trying to use modern rhetoric 'we're nice to gay people you know'. it's.... it's utterly bizarre. i can only think the basic hegemony the controlled discourse that supports it in israel must be terrifyingly backwards and hate propagating. what a sad state of affairs for a so called modern nation.

it's right back to well these arabs are all the same, why don't they go and live with their own kind, why don't their 'own kind' let them live with them?

it's so utterly racist and a terrifyingly contemporary form of racial supremacy. the people spouting it don't even hear it you know?

it's THEIR land, it's not for other people to take them in but for other people to support them getting their land back. the world does not just take in whoever you decide you don't want ffs. they don't need other countries to take them in they want their own country back.

it is bad enough when racists are talking about making immigrants 'go back' to their 'own kind'. israel is talking about people expelled from their own land and expecting them to go and live with the people israel have decided are their 'own kind' who are in fact foreigners in whole other nations.

these people are palestinian - they are not interchangable with any arab on the planet any more than black people from sudan are interchangeable with black people from south africa. can you actually hear the racism spewing from your fingers?

it's like the moving to england and calling it timbuktoo and telling the english they should go live with their own kind in mainland europe

many of these 'settlers' stealing land have been in israel for all of ten minutes and feel more entitled to the land and resources than the people whose families had lived on that land for centuries.

surely anyone's brain comprehends the sheer entitlement and ethnic supremacy and outright insanity of that?

sorry multiple posting but it is genuinely baffling and outrageous to read such racism. if you replaced palestinians with black people, lesbians, asians or hindus a) you wouldn't see these foul posts and b) they'd be deleted in seconds. though i see many are being deleted - thank you MNHQ for recognising that racism and hate speech towards palestinians, arabs and muslims is the same, and as reprehensible, as it is towards any other group.

the israel supporting posts are so full of blatant and vile racism it is horrific and jaw- dropping. They aren't doing themselves any favours by posting such racism. However, I don't think they know any other argument so the only one they know how to push forward is the racist one which makes most reasonable people recoil in horror! It makes me realise how backwards the only apartheid democracy in the middle east really is.

I have to say that the ignorance displayed in this thread is phenomenal. The Jews are the only ones who have been in Israel since 'time immemorial'. If Jesus was born in the area circa 2000 years ago.... as a Jew I might add...and the Mohammed came around some 600 years later...who has been there longer? The only "apartheid democracy" in the middle east? That's a joke. There is only one democracy in the middle east and the rest of the states have made themselves Jew-free. If Israel threw out (or killed) all their Arabs (instead they are some 30%), they would be morally on a par the Arab states. Most Israeli Arabs, btw,would rather live in Israel than so-called "Palestine". Ask yourself why.

the reason they keep spewing the racism yruapita (i've just realised the acronym there is it intended?) is that they don't even see it as racism - this IS their world view. racists don't see themselves as racist - they see their racist views as FACT. so it is a FACT for these people that all arabs are x, that all palestinians are terrorists, that muslims are death worshippers, uncivilised, savages etc. they don't see that as racist - they think we're stupid for not understanding the truth of their supremacy and the arab 'problem'.

that's what i mean about how the hegemony and the supporting discourse must be fucking terrifying to produce such beliefs and such entitlement and lack of shame to express them.

Interesting, your propaganda video that purports to show that Jews took land from Palestinian Arabs. Much wrong with it, including that if you had done proper research you would have discovered that many of these so-called Zionist quotes are entirely fabricated. Note how the author of it does not include the context. Nothing like taking things out of context and making them up to create anti-Israel propaganda. Notice how you do not answer what I wrote about the Jew-free middle east, or the fact that Israeli Arabs rather live in Israel than in "Palestine," (per Harvard study) rather you counter with a false propaganda video. This shows that you have clearly pre-judged the situation.

it occurs to me that if all arabs in the world decided to call themselves 'black' tomorrow things might radically change. or to call themselves 'non whites'. seem to recall asian youth a couple of decades ago having a movement of this and maybe for similar reasons. those of arab or persian descent seem to still be allowed to be the targets of outright racism as in flagrant, in the press, in public speech etc in a way that those who identify as black are not able to be (whilst not denying there is still plenty of less overt racism at play).
