kareninsgirl 'from the river to the sea' does not mean the destruction of a race, it means giving Palestinians dignity and their homeland back. No one is asking for israelis to disappear, you have totally misunderstood the Palestinian peace movement.

To those wondering why there are anti israel posts on here, that is the general public's reaction to the israeli campaign of murdering children men and women who defended their country at a time when their leaders were uniting and about to sit down and conduct peace talks. www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/02/palestinian-unity-government-sworn-in-fatah-hamas

Notice from the article above that 'Israel, which suspended peace negotiations in April when a surprise reconciliation deal was signed opening the way to the appointment of the new government, reacted angrily to the deal' - ask yourself - why is israel so allergic to peace ? And what a raw deal they are giving their citizens! A summer filled with war which nobody will forget instead of a future filled with peace.

PigletInABlanketJohn · 16/12/2014 09:53

can you quote one of the "hate for Israel" posts please so we can see what you mean?

KareninsGirl · 16/12/2014 09:54

Sorry labslondon, you are wrong.

from the river to the sea does actually mean the destruction of israel and the Jews.

It is amazing the amount of people who chant this whilst not even understanding its meaning.

PigletInABlanketJohn · 16/12/2014 09:56

surely "from the river to the sea" is Israel's idea of what it is entitled to.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/12/2014 10:00

You all go off on a tirade

Yes, I find that the violent killing of innocent children and unarmed civilians can cause people to do that. It's something called humanity.

Nippernoo · 16/12/2014 10:07

Oh Sabrina, taking quotes out of context again, the reference to tirade of course was because if you do not agree with a post you try to put lies in peoples mouths, mis-quotes as shown on previous information or taken out of context. Violent killing? yes there are terrible tragedies in war but I do not see you condemning the terrorist attacks on innocent civilians in Israel or do these not meet your definition of humanity?

TheHoneyBadger · 16/12/2014 10:09

i have to say tbf that i think the middle east has shown tremendous restraint towards israel.

i cannot imagine us being so restrained in the face of a neighbouring country full of immigrants treating a native population so brutally.

TheHoneyBadger · 16/12/2014 10:11

let alone if it regularly decided to go on military exercises into neighbouring countries Hmm it's lucky for israel that the arab people are not the 'all the same' faceless mass that they believe them to be and are in fact seperate nations with different economies, political systems and priorities of their own. if they really were one united mass what do you think would have happened?

TheHoneyBadger · 16/12/2014 10:12

for 'war' you need two nations, two militaries and a meeting of two somewhere near equable forces. there is no 'war' in israel.

SabrinaMulhollandJjones · 16/12/2014 10:13

Nippernoo. You cannot whitewash the deliberate targeting of civilian children by the IDF, the shooting of unarmed civilians, the cheering of Israeli onlloker as Gaza was bombed, the deliberate oppression of the population of an occupied territory, the deliberate restriction of food and medical aid afterwards.

We're just calling Israel on their overtly aggressive actions, you're excusing it.

"The fact that Israel refuses to grant human rights to the Palestinians just goes to show that Israel us the biggest obstacle to peace."

Completely false! Nothing you wrote in this post is truth but let's start with this first ridiculous sentence to expose your phony self.

The fact of the matter is that 98% of the Arabs who are calling themselves Palestinian today live under the Palestinian Authority "PA." They have their own area in which their own people govern. So send your complaints to their complaint department in Ramallah! Israel is a legitimate, sovereign nation and completely separate from any terror growing territory. If you read any factual article you would learn that of all the Countries who claim to help the poor Arabs in Gaza is in face lead by the very Country you choose to destroy.

Here is what Wikipedia has to say about it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_aid_to_Palestinians

Along with other credible sources:

www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-4541153,00.html

It is clear to all that you do not have a clue on facts or the topic at hand. But you've shown your true colors of hatred. Your Mother must be so proud!

labslondon · 16/12/2014 10:22

Kareninsgirl I have been on marches where we chant from the river to the sea, it is not meant to drive people out; don't patronise me by telling me what Palestinian peace protestors mean when they use that phrase.

Nippernoo · 16/12/2014 10:24

So are you implying the terrorist attacks in Israel are justifiable? Of course the Arabs have united to attack Israel 1948, 1967, 1973 and they all begrudge Israel this small strip of land

Part 7: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
PigletInABlanketJohn · 16/12/2014 10:27

Nippernoo Tue 16-Dec-14 10:07:47
I do not see you condemning the terrorist attacks on innocent civilians in Israel or do these not meet your definition of humanity?

Do you have an opinion on an Israeli warship shelling children playing football on a beach?

Or Israeli artillery shelling a family having a picnic?

Or Israeli soldiers shooting an unarmed farmer trying to work his fields in the shadow of Israel's Apartheid wall?

KareninsGirl · 16/12/2014 10:28

labslondon, I urge you to Google the meaning of the words you have been chanting.

PigletInABlanketJohn · 16/12/2014 10:33

Karenin

Why do you feel entitled to tell labs what she means?

KareninsGirl · 16/12/2014 10:36

I am not telling labs what she means.

I'm pointing out what from the river to the sea means. she is welcome to Google and see for herself.

If you were chanting something you didn't understand the meaning of, wouldn't you rather know?

Nippernoo · 16/12/2014 10:37

Piglet, as I have said so many times now, nobody wants to see children and innocent civilians killed although some of these you quote have been proven since to actually have been caused by Palestinian rockets but I am not saying there are not actions to be condemned from both sides, what I am saying is where is YOUR condemnation of terrorist acts against Israeli civilians, I just cannot seem to get any of you to condemn these which is alarming. The difference of course is that Israel will investigate and bring to justice acts of terror, where Hamas rejoice and give out sweets and cakes when innocent people are murdered in Israel, do you condone that?

mumof2andlovingit · 16/12/2014 10:40

Labslondon - give them their homes back? This is just disgusting! If the Palestinians think they are getting their homes back - that is a delusion they are being promised by their leaders that will never come true. Just like the Jews will never get their homes back across the Middle East and Europe. You are completely blinded by your ignorance. From the river to the sea means Palestine will be in place of Israel. Wake up!!!

mumof2andlovingit · 16/12/2014 10:49

don't forget about the terrorist attacks praised by the Palestinians. Here is a listing of the victims for those of you that forgot about the violence unleashed in Israel and celebrated in Gaza! www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Terrorism/victims.html

labslondon · 16/12/2014 10:53

kareninsgirl, again, less patronising - I live in England, I can speak English. Do not assume you know what peace protestors are talking about, unless you have been to a Palestinian gathering/ peace protest. How weird of you to keep telling me I do not know the meaning of the words !?!

mumof2 - better to correct the mistake countries like the UK made in the 40s than to come up with excuses for displacing an entire nation - that is genocide .. you cannot explain that away with pretty words. Of course Palestinians deserve their homes back. Or a proper homeland in the same place.

Louise189 · 16/12/2014 10:54

Why are the Palestinian terrorists - once committed to Israeli prison - paid huge money. The UK currently gives £33 million directly in aid to the PA. Paying terrorists - does not help with peace.

Nippernoo · 16/12/2014 11:01

Labslondon what Kareninsgirl is saying is not patronising, you are chanting "from the river to the sea" obviously meaning something different but the actual meaning is that Israel and the jews who live there will be obliterated, so though you could be saying this quite innocently believe me that is the true meaning

PigletInABlanketJohn · 16/12/2014 11:05

the "true meaning" is not what's inside your head, Nipper.
